I'm at work and I've already been caught smiling unreasonably at my screen a few times because of this story. You are fiend! But I love it!
Author's Response: Thank you. I've never been called a 'fiend' before. That's...wow. That's kind of sweet.

Hahaha! I shall spend the rest of the day using the words 'impertinent swine' as often as I can. I am completely baffled as to what Pam needs to talk to Jim AND Karen about... Thanks for another great chapter!
Author's Response: Yay! Bafflement! Always good! And I betcha five bucks when you read the answer tomorrow you'll slap your head and go "OF COURSE!"

I was telling my mom (who is also an avid Office fan) about this story yesterday and she said "Ooh, that sounds like it could be a good episode." And I have to agree, you should totally write for them, lol.
So when are we going to find out what Jim is up to? And Pam wanted to talk to Jim and Karen? Interesting..
Author's Response:
Your Mom is an Office fan! So is mine! She's not speaking to me right now because I had Pam cancel the Coffee Date with Jim. And then she read about the Kissing Lessons with Karen. Ooooh! My Mom is kind of a JAM shipper. Just a little.
I promise everything will become clear at some point some time in the some future.

Heh heh heh...I think I'm afraid to read Angela's answer! :o) God, this is so freaking good, Muggins! You've got their voices nailed...
Author's Response: I'm always afraid to WRITE Angela's answers. That girl scares me!

Ohhhh, good old Phyllis...I love her sometimes. And how adorable was Jim here? Such a sweetheart. Okay, sorry for the brief review, but I've gotta find out what Karen's answer is!
Author's Response: Ha! You have so not started reading or you would know...cliffhangers...cliffhangers...cliffhangers! Thank you for leaving a second review. That? Was unexpected! ♥

So I've been saving this story for when I could read and review it properly (as I've heard such amazing things about it), and I have to say, I am NOT disappointed so far. Excellent premise and so much fun! Spot-on voices, too.
Author's Response: Thank you! So kind of you to review. I hope that you keep reading and enjoying. You're in for a long haul though...lots of chapters before you and so many...many ways...for the girls to have fun at work behind the men's backs!

these chapters end too fast. i want to know what happens with jim/karen/pam.
but poor angela, that really would be her worst nightmare.
Author's Response:
I agree. Poor, poor Angela. But don't worry. Her kitties will be fine. No one will touch her little kitty-cats. I'd never do that to Angela.

OMG Jim's "review" of Michael is so hilarious!!!!!!! (I added the extra !s for Kelly's sake.)
Author's Response:
Kelly totally thanks you NEJ!!!!! I wanted to type up the whole review because I just got my quarterly review at work and I rewrote it for fun! I was laughing so hard! I also did Dwight's evaluation of Jim, Angela's evaluation of Kevin, and Michael's evaluation of Karen. I could do it for hours!!! It is so hysterical. So yeah, that's what I'll be doing at work today. ;) Up next, Jim's evaluation of Dwight! Oh yeah.

Your 'Dwight' conversation? I totally believe he would say all those things. Brilliant!

This chapter was so fun to read. I'm getting impatient for the Pam-Jim talk though...
I only wish I could have half as much fun in my office!
Author's Response: If you were doing this stuff in your office, you KNOW you would be fired before the week is up! Next chapter for the Pam-Jim talk. Just one day more!

oh kelly! hahaha. you continue to crack me up with this story. i am loving it, as usual. and kelly seems to ask just the right (wrong) questions doesn't she! so clueless...so kelly.
Author's Response: Kelly is soooo tricky! She's so clueless but at the same time she knows EXACTLY what she's doing! ♥ She's just about the perfect woman!

I chose to answer Kellys question and I pick Jim. Oooooooh the possiblities.

Okay seriously Muggs, when are Jim and Pam going to have their talk? You're going to make me wait until chapter 86, aren't you? Personally I think chapter 69 would be more appropriate, and I believe Kevin would agree with me.
Author's Response:
All the stars have aligned lama. They will be having their talk in Chapter 38. Karen will be there. Sort of. But she's not so hot at the non-verbals. THANK GOD!
Chapter 69 is reserved specially for Meredith's description of how to use hot sauce when having sex. There will also be naked Jim in Chapter 69, I promise. If I have to go over there and undress him myself, it WILL be done. *Muggins steels herself for chapter 69*

Your manic, inappropriate Michael is so spot-on it makes me want to cringe as I read. And, yes, that's a good thing. :)
Author's Response: I cringed as I wrote. I'm such a wuss. Whenever Michael comes on in a new episode, I just cover my eyes because I know I'll be cringing.

Sorry... this reviewer has temporarily died due to thoughts of John Krasinski dressed up as a lumberjack... *thinks of Fabio* mmk, better. Oh, this chapter was great. The Jim/Pam of it all? Fantabulous. Especially the 'halfsies' bit. So so funny! And I love that Jim has eclipsed Ryan as hottest in the office in Michael's eyes. I know, he's just Michael's 'best friend ever!' but of course, it comes off so Ho!Yay. Hehe thanks for writing! This is so great.
Author's Response: Fabio. Brrrrr....that guy is just funny shaped. Like cartoon man. Definitely, definitely Ho!Yay! What are you going to do with Michael Scott. He needs love, he needs love ALL the time!

Karen is totally cheating. She has not been answering the questions!
Further confirmation that she is a stone cold beeeeeyoch!
Author's Response: Yay!!! Someone noticed! You are so smart!!!! I wish you were there so you could call her on it! Angela was about to but unfortunately her cats' welfare got in the way!

1. please never end this story.
2. continue jam flirting, this is good.
3. when you finally bring down Karen make it embarassing and spectacular
Author's Response: 1. check 2. check 3. check, double check, laser beams set on: embarassing and spectacular.

I was thrilled to see more girly-girl this morning. What a perfect thing to go with my breakfast.
I love Michael thinking he touched Pam's... elbow and that whole awkwardness. Also, Michael watching Jim from the office and Pam's cute e-mail to Jim. Love the "can steal off of Dwight's desk" line.
Just like in "Who'd you do?", I bet most of the ladies of the office will pick Jim as their slave of the day. (Line for you: "Question: Is Martin still available?") I'd pick Jim, naturally. In jeans and a T-shirt. And bare feet.
Thanks for the girl talk.
Author's Response: Question: Is Martin still available!!! Awesome! Unfortunately, we'll never know the answer because of Angela's stupid cats. I'm pretty sure everyone would have picked Jim. Except Angela. Who would pick someone weird for some weird reason.

Oh Muggins, you put Jim in flannel -- you rock out loud!
Never, ever, ever end this fic!!
Author's Response: Well, we had a deal. Next up bookmark wise... Jim in knight's armor? Just for Kelly, I'm asking....
Date: March 22, 2007 05:52 am Title: Chapter 36 - Jim the Lumberjack
Good question Kelly. I'd pick Jim, how about the rest of the ladies? Great chapter

Phyllis and angela can't type until they buy pam a coke :P. she will have to drink coke for the rest of the afternoon!
Author's Response: I wonder if Angela believes in the rules of jinx. I'm sure that Phyllis does. Hmmm.....
Date: March 22, 2007 03:11 am Title: Chapter 36 - Jim the Lumberjack
She watched Jim walk by as if being sent to the Front Lines.
That's a GREAT line. Awesome writing...and I would say that anyone who voluntarily goes into Michael's office is either like that...or Dwight. :)
But Jim as a lumberjack? I think that just made my year. Tight jeans, rippling muscles. NIIIIIIIICCCEE.
Author's Response:
Lisahoo has done a lovely series of Paper Doll Jims. There's a lumberjack and a Doctor Halpert. Hopefully she'll continue with Musketeer, Knight in shining armor, Construction worker, and Lifeguard. Not that I'm being pushy or anything :)
Date: March 21, 2007 08:00 pm Title: Chapter 35 - Pam's best first date
I love that this story is updated so regularly... I get to read a chapter before I start my homework each night :). Great job!
Author's Response: Well, that's what I'm here for. To put you in the homework mood! What classes are you taking? Based on no information whatsoever, I'm guessing Math...something difficult...not calculus....Statistics?
Date: March 21, 2007 06:49 pm Title: Chapter 35 - Pam's best first date
Ohhhh, Pam's best first date!!! Of course. But yay to see her saying it out loud (well, in type)!
