This is so wonderful! You've got so many great lines in here even with it being so short (sadly!), like the words... fluttering in the wind one cold winter's night, crashing down onto the asphalt one warm spring evening and she pours the candy hearts, her heart, into the dish and waits.
Oh, I love this. Great idea! You've done such a nice job on this -- you can really feel Pam's... well, desperation sounds like a slightly too intense kind of description, but her determination and her need to communicate this with Jim.
Well, I'm confusing, but this is lovely, and I really, really enjoyed it. :)

I'm so glad you think so allibabab! I was trying to be succinct but give a synopsis of Jim and Pam's "relationship". I'm so glad that section worked for you.
I know what you're saying - not confusing at all. I think that it was obvious in BF she has something to say - but has no idea how to say it. Whenever I get angry at Pam (yes. I get angry at fictional characters more often than I like to admit!) all I keep repeating is "She hasn't dated in 10 years. She's only been with Roy - she is CLUELESS!) and I cut her tremendous slack.

I know I've already told you, but I love that line. Ties everything back into their history in one graceful sentence.
Such a simple, charming moment, but so laden with heartfelt feeling too Made me really happy to read it.
And btw - thanks for the chocolates (coincidentally, exactly the same kind we sent to our clients at Xmas...I love pretty, yummy things!)
