Aww, Moxie, I loved this one as much as the cheek fic! You should objectify Jim more often. ;-)
The whole thing was sweet & adorable & funny. Even the disclaimer was awesome -- No forearms were actually injured in the writing of this fanfic. (Which was even funnier on the reread, when I knew what happens.)
And oh, you used one of my very favorite "intimate" actions - when he rested his forehead against hers. I LOVED that! I swear, I'm such a sucker for forehead leaning - it just always strikes me as very intimate & comforting.
And I adored Jim's line, “Give me your hand then,” he said softly. “I want to be sure I have a hold on you.” That was so perfect - sweet & simple & swoon-worthy, and I could really imagine Jim on pain meds saying that.
I adored the rest of it, too. The classic romcom plot of pretending to be his wife, and of course the forearm discussion, and the gentle kiss of acceptance, and Jim agreeing to wear his sleeves up to make her happy. Fantastic!

Now Moxie...I must confess that I'm utterly baffled as to what the fuss is all about. Forearms? Seriously? Hm. I'm stumped.
Bwah! Okay, as premiere forearm whore (I wear the title proudly), this was just a delight to read! So much fun that she masqueraded as his wife, then came clean about why she prefers the sleeves rolled up...laughed out loud at his comment about the pain meds making him dream up the conversation.
So...*cough/pushy* what's the next, er, body part on the list? Because I know you'll do it justice - and then some. (TWSS!)
