Aww...that made me cry. Especially the part about Jim holding Scarlet and telling her the whole time that he loved her and they were going to make it. No matter how trivial it was, he could tell she was terrified and...it was beautiful. Absolutely amazing.

this was so great with jim being all like fathery and with scarlet being scared of storms and trusting jim. it is just.... this is too good of a story :). only two-ish more chapters!??!!? you better start getting more chapters of your other stories written! i need some good pam/jim stuff!

The most recent two chapters were really sweet. One thing, though- you used apostrophes a lot when they weren't needed. Like in the chapter before this, you said "Halpert's and Beasley's" but the apostrophes are not needed because you're making it plural, not possessive.

yeah, little kids are easy.... after scarlets pretty easy still compared to other five year olds. after about that age, it just gets harder and harder with girls (around age ---- 6/7 is when it switches from easy girls to easy boys)
