TOO SWEET.
Author's Response:
Much, much too sweet. But I still like the idea that a little bit of physical contact lit a fire that helped them cut through the BS.
I've had too much fun this morning looking at these with you. Thank you!

SO sweet (literally!) I'd love to see this happen. Nice work!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm feeling pessimistic today, but I still want to have hope!

Aw! This was so lovely! And of course Michael takes the credit!
Author's Response: Thank you so much!

I'm so bad about remembering to leave comments when I've already read it!
I repeat again, for posterity, this was just so hot. A thousand times more passionate than all the smut in the world. The impact was in no way diminished by the fact that I've already read it. And I still want the parking lot scene, dammit! ;-)
Author's Response: I love you to pieces. I also think you're biased, but I'll take your extravagant praise any day! Thank you! (We'll see about the parking lot scene. I'm not sure I can do it justice, though!)

Another sweet, tasty confection from your Jam-filled brain, Lis. Not that I meant to imply your brain is like a jelly donut but, well, you know I mean it in an entirely good way! ;-)
Author's Response: These two ARE turning my brain into a jelly donut. Enough is enough! Screw realism, I want fluff! :) Thank you, m'dear. I always appreciate it.

He could just about make it for five minutes without her. He suddenly couldn’t believe he’d lasted years.
Boy, does that sum up Jim Halpert to a T. Well done.
Author's Response: Thank you! I just want them to cut to the chase, you know? It's all been very realistic and everything, but I'm starting to feel tortured! (Thanks again!)

Mmmm...gotta love those powdered donuts from Dunkies! I am definitely buying one tomorrow. Jim touching Pam's face? Pam leaning into his hand? Um, gah???
Thanks for the happy fic!
Author's Response: "Gah" is a wonderful comment! Hee. Seriously, though, these two say so much without words...it seems like a look or a touch will be what they really need to get back on track. I'm so glad it worked for you. Enjoy your donut!!

I love powdered sugar donuts, Jim and Pam together, happy endings and your stories - I am a happy person after reading this. Thanks.
Author's Response:
Well, I love your reviews. Thank you so much! We need a little bit of happiness to carry us over, don't we?

aah!! so sweet! pun intended! love, love, love! if only that were all it would take to bring those two back to their senses!
Author's Response: I don't think it will take that much more, if they'll just get out of their own way and let themselves be happy. And a gentle touch can be a powerful thing...here's hoping, anyway! Thank you so much!

Oh, I love how simple and sweet(!) this is. I just hope they don't suffer a setback when the sugar crash comes. (J/K!!)
their estrangement is so crazy I could believe something like this could be just the trigger. God knows it's got to be something that in retrosprect will seem unbelievable, yet so perfect. Lovely job - I'll be reading this one again....
Author's Response:
I agree- I think they're going to end up together either with a huge bang or a tiny whisper. No in-between at this point, so I decided to go with the whisper.
There's always a sugar crash (says the old married woman), but that's when their wonderful basis in friendship will carry them through. That's why we love them, right? Thank you, as usual!

Lis - it's official. I adore you. :) So incredibly sweet.
Author's Response:
The adoration is mutual, xoxo! Thank you. With a name like "Sugar," I'm glad it ended up sweet! :)

Author's Response:
I was sure about the "short" part- I'm so glad you think it was sweet! Thank you!

Oh, AWW! I so needed that. Adorable. And I truly believe that one touch will be all it takes. Wonderful!
Author's Response: Thank you! I agree- there's just not that much stopping them now. Thanks, again!

Ahhhh! Oh, I love this, absolutely love it. It so is just what we needed right now. Guh. Thank you!!

Not since the infamous 27 seconds has a half minute (roughly) packed such an unspoken emotional wallop. So very good. And loved the last line.
Author's Response: Thank you! These two communicate so well without words, don't they?

Dunkin' Donuts = love. Wow, you do much in so few words.
Author's Response: "So few words" is my mantra, apparently. Thank you so much!

Oh wow! The tension is just... wow. I am clearly speechless. I will need a few minutes to regroup.
Author's Response: Ha! Sorry about the speechlessness. Do you need to buy me a Coke, now? Thank you!

wow steamy, I kind of felt like the end was a little abrupt like there needs to be a little more....still really good though....and now i want a donut and a Jim to wipe the extra sugar away....
Author's Response: Yeah, I did sort of chop it off, there. I'm glad it didn't ruin it for you! Mmm, donuts and Jim? Great idea! Thanks!
