It took me a while to get into this story but now I'm hooked. Good job!
Author's Response: Thanks, I'm so glad you like it! ;)

Loving this as always! Poor Karen (did I really just write that!?). How will Jim explain!?
I am so excited to see what happens next. After dealing with Karen, will Jim continue giving Pam Dream Girl letters himself, I wonder? How will he explain? Yay!
Author's Response:
So glad you love it! And yes, I do feel a little sorry for Karen in this story. But after tonight I don't feel at all sorry for her on the show so...
As for the rest of your speculating, you'll just have to wait and see!

Awesome! So good! I don't mind the cliffhanger at all, because Jim read all the letters, and he's going to break up with Karen, and... He's going to break up with Karen, right? No Gay Witch Hunt "you're really gonna marry him" switcheroo, right? Because... my heart! My heart! It's breaking. So don't do that to me.
This is so wonderful.
Author's Response:
Dang it! Now I have to re-write the whole ending!
Kidding. I would never intentionally break your heart. Probably. Because sometimes, you know, the muse commands differently. But in this case, I wouldn't be too worried if I were you.

BTW, I'm referencing the "Hey Pam...You Me Vegas?" whole inner-Jim monologue. Too classic.
Author's Response: Hee! Those lines were a personal shout-out to the bad!fic ending in which they really did run off to Vegas together. Man, I am such a dork!
Date: May 16, 2007 08:01 pm Title: caught by a wave, my back to the ocean
Possibly the most hilarious line in a fanfic ever?? I think so. Indeed, I do.
Date: May 16, 2007 07:44 pm Title: caught by a wave, my back to the ocean
Oh, it's on now. What an awkward situation! And what a great description of his realization. He wants to marry her, too! Yay!
Author's Response: Yes. Yes he does. I can see lots of curly haired little girls in his future! :D

Really glad to see this story again! Great job, as usual and I can't wait for the next chapter!
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm so glad you're still enjoying it. :)

So good!!!
Although I'm dreadfully sad that Karen isn't talking to Jim. Wait, no I'm not. I'm fine with that!!!
I really like how this is going. The break room thing is perfect. Jim's trying to keep up that wall and get through his day, and it's just wonderful.
Anyway, this chapter makes me smile like Ryan while singing the Flintstones song. I look so forward to the next chapter.
Author's Response:
I'm surprised how many people have commented on the break-room scene. I didn't especially love it while I was writing it, but that's probably just because I hate seeing them like that, no matter how true to cannon it is! (Stupid powers that be with their stupid angsty nonsense!!!)
Aaaand I'm done ranting. ;) Thanks for the review Kev!
Oh, and as for Karen not talking to Jim...um... let's just say that in addition to a few other things I could name, Karen happens to be very fickle. Meaning, there will be some talking between the two of them in the next chapter. Quite a lot of talking in fact. But that's all I'll say for now.

oh i can't beleive you left that there! you evil hobbit!
Author's Response: Sorry! I'm updating soon; I promise.
Date: May 12, 2007 08:55 pm Title: still you're my best friend
i like this a lot .. keep up the great work!
Author's Response: Thanks! And welcome; how does it feel to be the thousandth member? You're like an instant celebrity! Anyways, glad you liked it!

Yay! Ryan singing the Flintstones song was totally cute, so who am I to deny you the smiling review?
Even though I already got to see it earlier, I had to come read again and comment, because this is one of my favorite chapters yet. I love getting to see inside Jim's head--and the part where he mentioned enjoying the process of correcting his own grammar in the letter from when he was 20? That was so fabulous. It sounded like something I would do! Hee.
CANNOT WAIT for Jim to read the rest of Pam's letters. Hurry, write! :)
Author's Response: I'm so glad you liked it! I tell ya though, I never would have made it this far without lots of help from awesome betas like you! And if you really CANNOT WAIT, I could send you the next chapter when I finish it--hopefully today. But of course, that would mean you'd have to send it back to me with all your brilliant suggestions. Interested? I hope so, because I think I'm gonna do it no matter what you say. ;) Thanks again invis!

OH GOSH! I love it.
I'm all excited to see what's going to happen. Aiee! I love the fact that Jim has all the letters now and ugh...I knew it would just end where he got them but hasn't read them yet. Horrid! Can't wait to see what happens though.
I will SO keep reading.
Author's Response: Sorry! I always feel bad about writing cliff-hangers, but I'm in the middle of the next chapter so you shouldn't have to wait too long for an update. And I noticed you're a new member, so welcome, welcome!!!

I absolutely love this story. It's so sweet! And it pains me to admit that I'd totally be like Marsha...saving other people's stuff and then getting involved. I love it. I hope you update really REALLY soon.
Author's Response: lol! I'm glad to hear you're identifying with Marsha. I'm not sure what I would've done in her shoes, but I can tell you I've done the exact same thing that Pam's been doing through this whole story. Writing letters to people when I don't know how to talk to them, that is. As for the update, I've got about half of the next chapter written, so it should be posted fairly soon!
Date: May 11, 2007 05:18 pm Title: still you're my best friend
Garbage Can Letters, how I missed you so! You must update immediately, or risk a very unpleasant shunning. Understood?
Author's Response: Immediately? Yikes. How about definitely sometime next week? Is that soon enough to keep me from being shunned? Please say yes. I'd really rather not end up wearing a sumo costume, floating around Lake Scranton all night. That's been known to happen to previous shunn-ees so you can see why I'd be worried. Thanks for the review!

NOOOOOO!!!!!!!! MORE! MORE!!!! I've spent like, the last hour reading through all of these chapters and I'm hooked like a fish! I need more! MOOOORE!!!!!!! :)
Awesome job though, really. I don't usually get this hooked on stories!
Author's Response: Sorry. More's coming soon. I know I get the same feeling when I'm really loving something and then suddenly I come to the latest chapter and think JUST KEEP GOING!!! So I promise I'll update as soon as I can! And I'm glad you liked it so far. ;)

You're a tease like Ryan too! I want to see Jim flip out right now! haha...what was with Ryan grinning like an idiot over the Flintstones? I hope there are deleted extras on the DVD of all the songs they sang :)
Author's Response:
Me too! It was such a cute/weird moment. I remember thinking, is that RYAN smiling like a dork? What? Okay, cool. I'll take it. Yay for happy!Ryan.
Also, Jim is currently doing lots of flipping. But that's just because he decided to make pancakes before he read Pam's letters. What? He was hungry! Okay, fine, I'll make him read the letters. ;)
Thanks for the review!

Ack! Cliffhanger!
I love Jim being panicky and Pam feeling stupid and both of them entirely misinterpreting the situation. Get to the good stuff, now!
Author's Response: Right. Got it. Good stuff coming right up! ;) Thanks for the review!

I'm glad to see this story is back. I really love it. This chapter had a really good focus on Pam and Jim's insecurities and I loved the way you wrote Pam's hopes about the letters. I can't wait to see Jim's reaction to Pam's letters!
Author's Response:
That's such a sweet thing to say! I love it too! And I'm glad you enjoyed this chapter. I was worried that people wouldn't like it because not much really happened, but in the end I thought it was necessary as a transition into the good stuff that's coming! ;)
Thanks for the review!

Eeeeee! So will Jim run to the office and find that last letter in Pam's trashcan? Will he leave her the 20-year-old-Jim letter?
I loved that Pam was the only one to notice the tension in Jim's posture when everyone else was oblivious.*sigh* They're MFEO!
Of course, I hadn't forgotten this story! It's become one of my favorites. And now I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for another chapter! :D Great job!
Author's Response:
Aw! You just made me smile really big. Like this, :D!
Jim's got some thinking to do, but I can safely say that the 20-year-old-Jim letter will make a reappearance at some point.
Date: May 11, 2007 06:44 am Title: still you're my best friend
I was so excited to see an update on this! YAY!
also. Jim needs to find that letter!! <3
Author's Response: Oh, yay for you for reviewing!!! And um... Jim's gonna be a little busy with some other letters tonight, but the cleaning crew won't be there until Saturday, so I guess we'll see...
Date: May 10, 2007 11:42 pm Title: still you're my best friend
I was so excited to see another installment! Yay! Thanks! Well done Pam, so much courage (not unlike tonight's episode). I love tortured!Jim.
Can't wait for the next chapter; I'll bet it's gonna be zoppity!
Author's Response: Yeah, the next chapter's a doozy! Talk about an overload of information. Poor Jim. Oh well, the guy's been through the wringer before, I'm sure he'll survive. Or if he doesn't I can just turn it into another bad!fic ending, right? Kidding. I wouldn't do that to you. Thanks for the review!
Date: May 10, 2007 10:36 pm Title: still you're my best friend
Of course we remember the story! That's why God invented bookmarks. :)
Anyway, this is great and I can't wait for more!! Good on Pam for asking Jim about the dream girl letters, BTW.
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you haven't forgotten it. It feels so good to get back to it, let me tell you. I have missed this story. Glad you liked the latest chapter!
Date: May 10, 2007 10:12 pm Title: still you're my best friend
aiya cliff hanger damn. I love this fic. and oh my god the office tonight I just want to share a squeeeee. So squeee with me now. Squeee!!!
Author's Response: Squee!!! I'll share a squee anytime! Especially for something as great as tonight's episode!!! I completely *heart* FNB right now.
Date: May 10, 2007 09:44 pm Title: still you're my best friend
Oooooh i can't wait till Jim gets all those letters from Pam!
Author's Response: Yep! I'm really excited too! Thanks for the review. :)
Date: May 10, 2007 09:19 pm Title: still you're my best friend
heh you're really uppin' the ante Azlin! I can't wait to get s'more in my inbox! I was wondering when you'd be updating. And after tonight's episode? Youre just adding greatness onto greatnes! :) You know how I feel about this chapter and it rocks hardcore, just like Ryan singing hehe
Author's Response: Oh good! I was hoping this would add to the festivities instead of detract from the mood. I should have more ready soon, but it's been a crazy week, so we'll see how I feel after classes tomorrow. Thanks for the beta-ing and reviews, you're a-may-zing! ;)
