You are converting the masses and I could not love you more for it. It's because you are SO GOOD at capturing the wavering emotions of Pam, and how maaaaybe Ryan is a little something more, but then Jim shows up but then Ryan attacks her with his mouth or holds her hand or says Michael instead of Jim and she's back to thinking hmmm. Oh, and I adore the relief and disappointment line, because it perfectly illustrates that. And also, you are rendering me speechless with the HOTNESS. Oh, and Ebony and Ivory made me snort, just a little bit. And Puppy Love! Eeeeee.
And its not Roy’s callused fingers that are on her skin, or Jim’s chapped lips on hers, and she isn’t lost in that drunken, lonely haze that she was in with that guy from Ryan’s business school. His lips are soft in the way that Jim’s couldn’t be, and his eyes are blue in the way that Roy’s just weren’t.
I know that I already told you I wanted to have babies with that part, but reading it again makes me want to have TWINS. For realsies. It's so...gah. With the gahness. And drunken Dwight WINS and he has his arm around Angela and it made me sigh and of course she would be jealous and it's killing me.
So, next chapter, mmmmmkay?

Yeah, no one else has caught it yet I don't think so you are the reigning champ ;) Maybe in the next chapter Dwight and Angela could debate the theory of creationism... "So, he did all of that, in the dark! Light wasn't even invented, its not like he went on holiday and thought 'yeah we could use some of this on Earth.'"
Seriously, you are the best and so so helpful to me on this story, especially with the little ensemble touches and just making me feel better about having Ryan and Pam make out like crazy. Oh, and that grief counseling scene?? One of my all time favorites! I LOVE the look on Ryan's face when he realizes what Pam is doing. I totally watched that today for more inspiration ;) I'm working on the next chapter and maybe possibly will have it to you soon??

Okay, I know I said in an earlier review that I would be okay if this turned into real Ryan/Pam, but I've gotta say, I was very relieved for Phyllis's interruption! My Ryan/Pam enlightenment might take some time before I'm really comfortable. And Dwight/Angela partially "coming out"! Eeeee! So fun.

Wow!!! I finally got a chance to read what you have so far (what a difference a week away makes) and I am SO glad I did. I love this story. I have not read a story up to this point that made me enjoy Pam/Ryan (OK, I take that back, I've read one - and only one other) ... but yeah, you've really built this up and I'm liking it. Plus, I really enjoy Jealous!Jim. Especially since Karen is really encouraging the whole Ryan thing ... this is getting so good!! Plus, I'm very impressed how well you've managed to write the whole ensemble here. Not an easy thing to do.
Also, I will admit: I've been waiting for the Pam/Ryan makeout scene and it did not disappoint. Especially that one in the hallway -- holy hotness, Batman! My stomach actually jumped when I read that. And then Jim coming across them? AHHHHH.
Seriously. Please update very very soon. Or I may have to resort to desperate tactics. (You don't what to know what those are. Um. I may not know what they are yet, but they will be very desperate. Yes.)

I'm actually feeling jealous of Dwight and Angela, too. And Michael and Jan. Or at least Jan, because Michael loves her to bits and makes sure she knows it. They may be completely screwed-up but they're screwed up together, which is more than we can say about freaking Jim and Pam. I wish they'd at least screw together. [hell, that made no sense. I'm sorry, your stories do this to me.]
I am so irritated with all of this mumbojumbo mess but I still love it all and I'm still practically inhaling every single word. Unbelievable. :P Congrats, DickinFlicka, you win!

I think its funny that (on the show) all of the "crazy couples" (Michael/Jan, Dwight/Angela, Kelly/Ryan) are actually pretty functioning and, well, normal, while the uber-couple of Jim and Pam is so hopelessly messed up to the point that I'm not sure they are actually right for one another. My absolute favorite scene that illustrates this is from Ben Franklin when Kelly and Ryan are kind of squabbling in the break room and Jim's looking on like they are so ridiculous, but then there's that completely awkward conversation with Pam, and its Kelly and Ryan who are looking at them like they are idiots, because they are! Hehe, anyway, sorry that was long, I will stop now, but thanks!

Ooooh! Late night update and I'm around for it.
And...we have kissage! Hee. I'm really liking the Pam/Ryan dynamic and their burgeoning...whatever. I'm LOVING the effect its having on Jim. I can only imagine the 'talk' he gave to Ryan. Probably something to do with not hurting her or something, if I were to make an esteemed guess ;)
I also really like the hand holding. Its something I don't think Pam really has had enough of. Just holding hands with someone.
Can't wait for more! Jim better get his ass into gear though. Maybe more isolated closet touchage will help matters ;)

Remember last time when I told you that I love this fic? That was such a petty understatement. I want to buy this fic a humungous diamond ring, run off to Vegas, and marry it. That is how crazy I am about it. No joke.
So, can we talk about all the things I loved about this chapter, besides, you know, ALL of it?
1) Ryan/Pam make-outage. Love it. So incredibly fun the way Pam does her Michael impression and then all of a sudden it's steamy!
2) Michael whining to Jan about her not letting him look through her luggage. I laughed out loud, and I'm in the library right now (doing homework, of course...)
3) Steamy makeout session by the bathroom!
4) Jim interrupting said steamy makeout session!!!*(U$@(*U
5) What the heck happened between them in the bathroom!!!!!!!!!!!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
So yeah. In ridiculous amounts of love with this fic. I’m really sorry if that’s weird for you to hear, but I needed you to hear it. Probably not good timing. I know that, I just … I just needed you to know. Once.
