this story is actually so distracting and good I keep reading it over and over again and then realize I should actually be spending more time finishing my own fan fic....
yeah, thanks for distracting me! ;-)
Author's Response: That is so awesome! I'm happy to provide the distraction :)

I totally agree about the chapter titles. They make me giggle even before I get to the chapter! I am a diehard JAM fan, but I find myself not minding the Ryan/Pam (Ryam? Pan?). So long as your promise to bring us eternal JAM peace by the end of the story. Pretty please?
Author's Response: Hehe, Ryam, Pan, it's all goood. Thanks for the comment! I'll see what I can do... maybe ;)

I forgot to mention that I love your chapter names in this one. Also, all the stories with multiple chapters should be named instead of numbered - so much easier to remember how far you've gotten! I love the Chapter 3 title, especially - Season 2 Christmas party, right?
Author's Response: Hehe, thanks! I thought using quotes from the show would be more fun than just numbers, and yes that is from Christmas Party! I love that part. :)

At this point, I'm thinking Ryan is so much better than Jim. In your story, I mean. On the show, not really. In your story, I think Karen is awesome and needs someone better than moody old Jim, too.
Author's Response: Hehe, I totally agree! Maybe Jim will step it up ;) We'll have to see...

*slings garbage*. But only because pick up isn't until Tuesday.
Author's Response: No problem, I'll hold on to it for you until then. Then I'll sling it right back at ya. :)

I must love anything with a Sliders reference. (Remember the Azure Gate Bridge? My very favorite reveal of an alternate reality.)
I adore this line: "Yeah, well, it is Kelly. Just because she dumped me doesn’t mean she calls any less". Love Ryan's snarky Australia reference. What a great callback to that TH of Ryan's ("he eats the same sandwich every day...").
And am I the only one who thinks Jim is cute as Mr. Obviously Jealous?
I was thinking we may not need to fleece it out, after all. Then I got to the finger-holding and cozy leaning between Ryan and Pam. I think I need some Vomicillin. And a cage for 2.
Author's Response: Hehehe, I love that Ryan TH when he makes fun of Jim! And I think Obviously Jealous Jim is kinda hot ;) Oh, and I've been working out, getting ready for our throw down, so you betta watch out! I might have to use Win-Lose on this one, it won't be pretty.

ps - I should probably email these things, but I know you loved last night. Ryan was awesome or dawesome as it were. Grinding up the aspirin! And I would love your thoughts on something office related, is your email in your profile?
Author's Response: My favorite Ryan line EVER "I found the pudding cups you wanted at a gas station in Carbondale!..No, the gas station in Carbondale did not have fresh yams!" I'm very intrigued as to what your question might be, just click the "contact" thing in my profile and send me an email! (or write it here if thats too much work) hee.

there is this art studio by our place called 'mixed emotions fine arts' it's like my favorite name for anything in the whole world.
I can't help but think of that place as I read this chapter, I like how you have all of this stuff linked together in one universe, like how in a few weeks Ryan will start stalking Kelley at the grocery store. I'm so glad that he actually loves her and go Kelly for beins so mature (the first time in history the words Kelly and mature were in one sentance). Jim is such an asshole for being all touchy feely with Karen and being such a jealous prick. I mean one or the other is totally acceptable (and I do love jealous prick Jim- but both sucks). More. More. More.
Author's Response: You remembered about Ryan stalking Kelly! Hee! I love that visual. Thank you so so much for the review! There should be more up this weekend ;)

I didn't get to review last night, so I'm gonna roll the two chapters in one AWESOME! I love the discussion between Pam and Jim and whether she wants him to be jealous, this is very JAM, each one almost saying what they want, but being too stubborn to go first. I adore them walking out of Ryan's room as he adjusts his fly, yeah suck on that Halpert!
Ryan and Pam pranking Michael! Loved every part of that. And helping Dwangela!!! Because I also love Dwangela as much as I love Ryan, this was just awesome.
You have been very brave to step out and write this, and it is amazing. And you have to stop toying with me soon or I will call you Greg Daniels, someone needs to kiss.......I'll leave the who up to you......
Author's Response: What a terribly nice thing to say! I'm so glad you likd the last 2 chapters! And Dwangela is also my secret passion, hehe. I'll try and stop toying... well, eventually ;) Maybe I'll drag it out a liiittle bit more...

I want to sling roses at you. Oh, my, god. I don't think I've laughed so hard since...a long, long time. But what about their love, Ryan? Their epic, epic love?
Seriously. Just stop whatever it is you think you've got going on and let them snark/backtalk/giggle/canoodle for the rest of forever.
Oh, and you get a cooky. From me. For rocking. :D
Author's Response: Heehee, sling roses... but what about the thorns fwf?? The thorns??? I will totally enjoy that cookie, so thanks ;)

Ohhhh I was so excited to get into work today and see that you updated already! As always, so so so good. (If you didn't already notice from my email full of love, heee.) This is so...perfect. And hot and hilarious all at once. The Angela reveal had me giggling everywhere, the stuff you added was perfection, and the movie and the hand holding but not! And the epic love and Ryan and Pam and Pam letting Karen in on the inside jokes and and and Ryan with the AWESOME Australia zinger and...
You know, this story really makes me think, especially in light of Jenna Fischer's comments about Jim and Pam maybe not being the right ones for each other, but being the ones that help each other be able to find that right one. It seems to fit, you know? Because, yeah, at the end of the day of course the ideal would be Jim and Pam happy together, but maybe not right now. This whole Ryan flirtation seems to click, and while I know that it's a story, it just seems to work b/c you've kept the characters SO in character and I could really see this as a viable option. So, Ryan as dark horse!!
And I promise, my unhealthy love for BJ Novak is in no way influencing my opinion. :) I can't wait for the next chapter. Oh, YOU.
Author's Response:
Hee, I love you! Seriously all the stuff I added to that Angela scene was totally thanks to you, and I think it really made it better ;) I totally agree that I'm not sure Jim and Pam are completely right for each other.. at least not yet. I think they both have a lot of growing up to do and I'm glad that Greg Daniels has taken the time to really portray that rather then just please the masses and throw them together. If anything ever ever happened with Pam and Ryan on the show? I would literally die of happiness. It would be that good.
Oh, and my love for BJ is totally not an influence either... yeah... sure... hehehe. Actually today I finally saw his interview on Leno that I hadn't seen before and I am officially in love. He is just... sigh. Wonderful. Okay I'll stop now, really I should.
I should have the next chapter to you sometime this afternoon?? Its giving me just a teensy bit of trouble :)

Jim! You ASS! You are getting what you deserve!
Oh. Sorry. this is so good, sometimes I forget it's pretend.
Author's Response: Heehee, thank you! Oh, and I just read Victory, and it. was. DAWESOME! Just thought you should know... once.
Date: March 30, 2007 09:00 am Title: Hold on, its gonna be a bumpy one
"Their epic, epic love" was hilarious. I may actually have to steal that at some point. And don't worry, I'll pay the proper fees. I must reiterate that I like Ryan as a nice guy. It's a nice change. ;)
Author's Response: Heehee, I'm so glad you liked that line! In my head I can picture exactly how Pam would say that... and it cracks me up. Thank you!!

You are officially my favorite person! I love that you updated again.
I love that you incorporated jack ass Ryan back into the fic and it *worked* LOL His jab about Austrailia was perfect. And I almost felt bad for him when he talked about Kelly dumping him. Almost ;)
Sadly, the only reason I'm against Ryan/Pam actually hooking up is because of Kelly. But maaaaaybe if there was a way she'd never have to find out AND it made Jim suffer? I'm all for it!
Update soon! This is like crack
Author's Response: That Australia part was my favorite to write because I just always remember what Ryan saying about Jim having a "fun weekend in Philly" during Dwight's Speech, hehehe. Thanks so much for the review! I'm so happy you're reading :)
Date: March 30, 2007 08:37 am Title: I think you're thinking of the Hunt for Red October
Thanks for all the quick updates! I'm enjoying Jealous Jim....very fun to play with--and I like that Ryan is able to help her out so she isn't stuck with having to deal with Jim and Karen (and Michael of course) all by her lonesome
Can't wait for more
Author's Response: Hehe Jealous!Jim is pretty fun to write actually, and I feel like Pam needs someone new to hang out with ;) Hope to have more up tomorrow!
Date: March 30, 2007 08:00 am Title: I think you're thinking of the Hunt for Red October
Hahahaha! Pam and Ryan do make a good temporary couple.
Still, jealous Jim is being a tool...
so typical of men.
Author's Response: I know! Haha, when guys feel threatened they become real assholes. Thanks for the comment!

I hope Ryan isn't lying! He sounds like he's lying :(
I really love this story!
Author's Response: Lying about Kelly you mean? Oh, don't worry, he's not ;) Thank yoou!

Oh man. OH MAN. There's too many things I love about this to list- and I'm actually starting to kind of hope that Pam and Ryan hook up. Its all that talk about his baby blues. ;o) Did me in.
Author's Response: Hehehe, I don't think any woman in her right mind would be able to resist those eyes ;) Thanks so much!

Ok I am all for Jim (that's my boy!) but I have to admit I am starting to "feel the love" for Ryan as well...Ugh...does that make me a trader ?? I take back , I take it back......;) Great chapter !!
Author's Response: No no you aren't a traitor! I promise, no one will take away your JAM card :) Thank yoou!

interesting chapter. I love Pam's acting. Very nice.
Author's Response: Thank you!

WooHoo! You made my morning posting an update to this lovely little fic. And the Titanic thing? Of course Micheal would find it appropriate to show a movie about a sinking ship while they're at sea. Of course. And Ryan/Pam is actually making me a little butterfly-ey in my tummy. And I'm still loving the jealous Jim, or course. I can't wait for the next chapter! :)
Also? You totally need to get Kate and Leo on the phone to discuss this movie idea. It could be Titanic II: This Time It's The Office or something less lame. But whatev. It's an awesome idea.
Author's Response: Hehe, oh yeah I bet Kate and Leo would totally be on board for this ;) Thanks for yet another lovely review... want to be my co-producer on the film?

no garbage - I love this! I just love seeing Pam happy and confident.
Author's Response: Thanks! I love happy and confident Pam the best too :) She is my favorite.

Another great chapter... it was great late night reading ... I can't believe it is only a TWO day cruise.....
Author's Response: Hehe, thank you! Oh, and the two day thing? Well... there may be a little problem coming up with that ;)

Just wanted to say I love this story! I definitely prefer the JAM-my goodness, but I like how you make Ryan into an actual (likeable) person. Jim is being a huge baby, and I'm actually rooting for a bit more Ryan/Pam action. Will be looking for your next update!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I really appreciate it :)

OMG. The sort of hand holding but not? I feel all fluttery and anxious for another chapter. Pam and Ryan are so- I don't know. I just love it. The fake crying and everything. Oh, man. I'm addicted.
Author's Response: Hehe, yes! I've got unfold addicted! What a cool feeling :)
