I like that they don't have a perfect relationship and that Karen & Roy are still painful subjects for them. Very true to real life. And Jim saying Pam won't be able to get rid of him...sigh...very nice.

Great ending. It was very realistic that their relationship wouldn't be all sweetness and light all the time - that there is still underlying pain that rises to the surface occasionally. I liked Pam's idea of getting a place of their own as it would be difficult to share Jim's bed with its history.

I have a confession. I printed this out at work so I could read it over and over during two very long, boring OR cases. It certainly passed the time. ( the patients did awesome, by the way )
Thanks for the happy JAM stories. Can't get enough of those. I don't blame Pam one bit though; I'd do Halpert in the tiny little Yaris before I'd go near that bed with the Karen cooties.

I love natural progression of this argument. You did an amazing job with it. This was a great story, Moxie. Just the dose of Jam happiness we all need about now! And who would want to sleep in the bed that was once occupied by Karen?

I agree, it would be very sad for Pam to miss out on an entire cuisine due to one unfortunate plot contrivance.
And I wouldn't want to sleep in Jim's Karen-tainted bed, either. But I'd get over it real quick. Try me.
