So nice! This line really hit me Could I be that guy? The dad and husband guy? And of course, yes is the right answer!
Their thoughts seem very believable. I like how their thoughts are overtaking their abilities to speak clearly and such; it make sense that they're overwhelmed.

Oh wow. I'm a bit thoughtless like Pam at the moment! I must say, that was without doubt the funniest piece of fluff I've ever read! I think you guys nailed their inner voices perfectly. And the format was so much fun, really unique, but fabulous for post-date self-analysis. Very glad that Pam called (even though I was secretly hoping Jim would end up driving back to her place!).

I just ADORE that we get both POV's in this. In fact, it makes me a little sad that we won't get this much insight into the first date on the show, let's face it, these two are freaking adorable with how googly they are for each other. Great concept and even better execution. I have to admit, I admire your being able to pull this off at all - don't think I could co-write a story (clearly, I never learned to share my toys well!) Love how they're pretty much thinking the same thing, but both so nervous and almost giddy. Really love Jim's amazement that this is happening. And this line, I think, sums up Jim's Pam-lurve: He says it like I've done something amazing by just standing there.
This was really fun and insightful from start to finish. Well done, you two.
