Wow! I love it! Jim's honesty and Pam's fear turning into relief and exhilaration. The end, which was the beginning, was perfect. It alluded to a future. Just beautiful.

Nice!  I especially like this: Out of nowhere Pam practically shouts “Iloveyoutoo!” Jim is so surprised he nearly spits out his wine all over their waitress and the table and they’re laughing, laughing, and things are just how they’re supposed to be.  It's so funny, how Pam says that like a 3 year old, and then the physical reaction you describe and the laughing is just great.

I also really liked Pam straightening up her place... 

This was so great. I like that you had Pam thinking that he just asked her out to dinner to tell her he's moving to New York. I think that would definitely be running through Pam's head on their first date.

How is it that she and Jim, who have known each other for years, who love each other, still have to so much to get to know about one another?

This is really nicely put. I think this is going to be the real joy of the upcoming seasons (no more angst! I can't bear it!). This is a very lovely story- a few little grammatical flaws (using "were" instead of "we're" at one point for example) that could be helped with a beta, but in general it is just lovely in tone and characterization.

I love how Pam nervously gets ready, its just so cute and true to life.

I don't care how many first date fics I read, I love them all.
