I loved this entire story. I liked that Pam recognized Jim was perfect, but the way he loved her was. Great point and very realistic. I'm sad this story is over, but look forward to your future fics.

soooo good! I liked how he was resistant at first and made her work for it. The line you wrote after her telling him she loved him, when he ducked his head and smiled--for some reason, I could totally picture that momtent--and I loved it!
Also good: rougher making out, leading to commenting on how it wasn't weird, then having it get a little weird, but then going back to bliss. Awesome. Liked where you stopped too--as much as I lurve the smut, it is nice to read a more pg-13 story every now and then! Well done, per usual!
Author's Response: Thanks Boof! I think we're all agreeing Pam needs to - depending on how the premiere goes - make amends to Jim BIG TIME in S3. When I wrote that Jim moment I could totally see him in my mind so I'm glad it came across. Thanks for letting me know the semi-smut worked. I always get so antsy about that!!

God that was awesome! I really loved the chapter when they were at the wedding. It may not be canon but it really, really fits the character of Jim and I loved how Pam realized how amazing he really is and finally decided she was doing a crap job of showing it. That explanation is canon in my mind now, lol. Great job!

Thanks kristendotcom! I think that chapter might have been my favorite. I'm of the opinion that Pam needs to get with the program and I could totally see her not fully realizing what she had until she'd actually been with him a while. I'm so glad you liked it too!!

You know how I have pledged my love and devotion to this story! :) This chapter certainly did not disappoint. I liked seeing Jim put some barriers to protect himself. It was great to see Pam having to deal with the consequences of her actions. Oh, and a little sexy moment thrown in has never hurt anyone. ;)

Jim is utterly defenseless against her, isn't he? He tried his best, though- leaving her out there for 20 minutes.
I'm glad he (and you!) made Pam have to be the brave one. He risks his heart every time he even talks to her- it's time we see that same strength from her.

He certainly is. And I almost had them passing each other in the night - with him leaving that drive thru to go to her but ulitmately I liked this version better.

Oh man. This chapter just gave me goosebumps. I really liked that Jim wouldn't make it easy for Pam- which, after all he's been through makes total sense. I just can't believe this means this story is almost over.

Chiming in late and with nothing original to say. Great chapter! I also really liked the "this is why" part. Made me tear up. I don't know what's happening to me. I normally just hate sentimentality. These two characters are ruining me!! :)

This almost made me cry. Seriously, the 'this is why' part, when Pam was watching him...I saw it. It's so true, I can see him in my mind's eye being like that, just appearing in the world as that kind of person. It's amazing, because there are not that many real people like that in the world, I haven't found one yet. It would be a dream come true for me to find somebody, and I think that's why I love this show so much, because of Jim's character, and why so many other people love the show for the same reason. He is the ultimate dream guy, and not because he's cute and funny and charming, but because of those reasons that you just showed. Because he's just a beautiful person.
Thank you for writing this, really. You're doing an amazing job. :)
