This whole story is freaking adorable! And I love the idea that Pam was ignoring Jim so she could try to get her relationship with Roy back on track. And it keeps with the very sweet & nostalgic mood of the story (summer in DE, old-fashioned 5 & Dime, melting ice cream), that the final scene is left to our imaginations. I'm so glad I saw the rec for this on the FF home page!

This was one of the first multi-part fics I ever read in this fandom, and it is still one of the best. I love the sweetness throughout, especially the ending, which I think you handle beautifully. Wonderful!

Well, this is a disappointment. You did a great job of the build-up, but then left the conclusion of your story to our imaginations. It feels like you chickened out here. I don't necessarily need a graphic play-by-play, but this is so generic I can't even tell if Pam and Jim are supposed to have had sex. As I said, a disappointment. Lovemaking on the beach would have been a sweet reward for all their angst.
