Really lovely and delightfully sweet. You've captured Jim's thoughts and the impact of Pam's absence from his daily life really well. I can see Jim having conflicting thoughts between really missing her yet being so proud of her. Jim constantly looking up at the reception desk and feeling Pam's absence from his apartment were really sweet. I also loved how Jim split up the week until he would see Pam again. The way you wrote his thoughts while he was with Pam was really touching and sweet. I'd list the parts that I liked from this, but I'd end up copying the whole thing. Anyway, really well done!
Author's Response: Thanks! I have a feeling a summer apart would be really rough on our poor Jim. I'm glad you liked it!

Oh bashert, I like you.
This was lovely. I love how in the end it's just a quiet moment between them. I really think that is most like them, and you really did a nice job with it. I also love that he's turning around and going right back - I can totally see Jim doing something like this.
What a wonderful one shot you've got here - that ribbon is well deserved! Great job.
Author's Response: Thanks, I like you too. I'm glad you liked it!

Aww! I think that Jim proposing all flustered and adorkable in some casual moment is so much more realistic and in character than a grand gesture. Loved it!
Author's Response: I agree, I could never see him doing it in a grand way, as excited as I was that he was going to propose at Toby's goodbye party, a part of me wanted something quieter for the two of them. I'm so glad you liked it!

Oh, happy squee yay! Perfect. I love the matter-of-fact tone you use for your narration. Love love.
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you love love it! Happy squees are always good!

This has a really lovely natural feel to it. I also like the 2nd person voice - always makes a story feel so immediate, but it's hard to do well, and I think you pull it off with finesse here. Love him thinking he's a 'polite idiot,' his deliciously awkward impromptu proposal, and of course racing back with the ring. Also like the bit about him looking up artists on Wiki - very sweet and believable Jim-ish detail.
Author's Response: Thanks! I was worried about the 2nd person view, so I'm relieved you think I managed to pull it off! I figured looking up artists on Wikipedia would be something Jim would do. Both to impress Pam, and to waste time at work. I'm so glad you liked it!

that was just so elegant. That's the best word for it. I love love loved it! I like Art School Pam. I find her very inspiring.
Author's Response: Thanks! I love Art School Pam too!

I was excited for Pam, but yeah, now I am sad. I mean, I am still excited, but, man. It is rough for Jim and I am sure for Pam also.
But the sticky notes? Totally cute.
I like new arty Pam, but I miss old Pam sometimes. But I like Happy!Pam, be that in new york with loose curls or back in Scranton with frizz.
OMG, embarrased nervous Jim is just too cute. I am kind of sitting here with mad smiles on my face (probably scaring people) because I am so happy, and he hasn't even totally proposed yet!
OMG, she said yes and I knew she would but its still so happy!
And she is going to have the ring! and soon.
Yeah, I'm happy!
Author's Response: Thanks! Although I'm sorry I made you sad, even a little bit. But I'm glad that I also made you happy, and this review made me happy, so win-win!

OH...wow. Gosh, I'm a little misty here! How beautiful was that? Everything from the description of the post-it notes all the way down to how romantic the visual was of Jim and Pam in central park with her head in his lap as he read...just PERFECT.
Author's Response: I'm sorry, I did not mean to make you all misty. Okay, maybe I did. I want to see Jim and Pam in Central Park like nobody's business. I'm glad you liked it!

“I don’t have it with me, but I have a ring. For you.”
I love this line. Something about the phrase "for you" - you rarely hear that in a proposal, but it's true.
Lovely story!
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you liked it!

This was so perfect and lovely, and I love how you've written artist Pam from Jim's perspective. The perfect proposal story, indeed :)

Oh, my. What a beauty.
I've been reading proposal stories like they are going out of style, and this one is fabulous.
I loved Jim's spontaneous and awkward proposal and him going to get the ring and turning around made me catch my breath.
Oh how I want this to be for realsies come September!
Author's Response: I want this to happen for realsies too! I'm glad you liked it!

Aww. That was really, really sweet, and very well written. I hope that when they do get engaged, its a private moment between the two of them, just like this =)
Author's Response: I know, as much as I want to see it, I'm hoping for something like this. I'm glad you liked it!

Ummm. How awesome is this story??? Incredibly awesome - that's how.
It was perfectly utterly them. Thanks for sharing w/us.

Okay, this is actually perfect. It's sweet, but not sappy, and I really wish this is how things turn out. I like Art Student Beesly, and the way you write those characters really fits with what the show has shown us. I've loved all your stories so far; I really hope you continue to write. :)
Author's Response: Perfect? That's pretty much the best review ever. I'll take it! I'm so glad you liked it!

Aw, this is so sweet! I love it! I really hope this is how Jim ends up proposing. The fireworks and ferris wheel were nice, but it WAS Toby's goodbye party. This seems a little more appropriate and way more adorable. Great job!
Author's Response: I agree, a little quieter proposal is what I see for them. I'm glad you liked it!

Very nicely written - and a DCfC title is always win-win!! :-)
Author's Response: Thanks! Death Cab will always win in my book. Always. I'm glad you liked it!

That was beautiful. Love the impromptu proposal. Love the fact that he's going home just to get the ring and return right away to place it on her finger. Of course he would do that. So awesome. Great story!
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you liked it!

Oh, and just to let you know, it seems the lines "You would walk across the ocean for her. You can’t help but wonder if she knows that, if she knows the lengths that you will go to for her." has really stuck with me. I'm just in raptures about this story. Again, well done on creating such a lovely story.

Oh, goodness. That was beautiful. I think my heart melted a bit. What a lovely piece! Honestly, I think I'm a little bit speachless. That was an incrediby gorgeous story. I'm trying to think of particular lines or moments that stood out for me, but it was all really perfect. The proposal, and Jim's thoughts leading up to it were just...perfect. I think that this story is one of the best proposal fics out there. It was warm, and the epitome of romance, and wonderfully in character, and... I really can't think of enough good words for it. You have written a beautiful story that will definately be one of my favourites for a long time.
Author's Response: Speechless is good. I'll take speechless. I'm a little speechless after your review. I'm glad you liked it!

An awesome Death Cab lyric in a title will always get my attention. :-)
This was great, and sweet in all the best ways. It makes me hope we get to see at least a little bit of Art Student Pam next season.
I enjoyed this. Thanks.
Author's Response: Yes! Death Cab is the best! I would love to see Art Student Pam! I'm glad you liked it!
