"Jim Halpert has changed his relationship status"

that part made me laugh, oh man. Another great chapter!

Author's Response: Haha, thanks. Kind of gave me chills when I read it myself. :P

Sweet ending. I like how they have been speaking non-stop over the phone. Looking forward to their reunion....

Author's Response: Thank you, I'm glad you liked the ending. :) I promise a reunion very soon...

aw so cute.  You know your relationship is "totally real" when it's on Facebook ;)  I love the mention of the cow cookies and the just all around Jim/Pam characteristics you've made.  So great.  I hope there's more soon!  I'mreally enjoying it.

Author's Response: Oh, I've totally made cow cookies for Christmas before. I've also made dirty Snoopy cookies which is probably why I haven't been invited back to a holiday cookie baking party for a couple of years now... But, anyway... haha. Thanks for the review! I'm glad that you are liking it so far.

Can I just say that I love your story and that it is making Finals so much better!
Its become my guilty pleasure that I have to reread over and over again!
I love these types of stories.
Thank you :P

Author's Response: Yay! Thank you, I hope you've enjoyed the later chapters. It's become my guilty pleasure that I have to keep writing, leaving several chores unattended to in my house. Haha.

This chapter was so good, Nightswept! I liked that you didn't rush Jim & Pam into anything yet. If you ever haven any writer's block & want to bounce ideas off someone, I'm here!

P.S. Thanks for the  "Everything" compliment! I really appreciate it!

Author's Response: Of course, "Everything..." was one of the very first stories I fell in love with and read over and over again. :) And thank you, I will definitely take you up on your offer. Perhaps soon, because after this latest chapter, my brain is kind of at a standstill as to where I should take these two characters next... Oy.

Beautifully atmospheric and really, the song inspiration was certainly a great addition as I read the chapter, (I haven't heard that one and I'm adding it to my d/l list). I liked how you structured the chapter and I understood Jim's reasoning. I know a lot of readers were calling for his head when he was ignoring Pam, but i dunno, I guess not saying or doing the right thing all the time is part of being human and that Jim apologized is enough. As always, looking forward to more.

Oooh...very sneaky implying at the beginning that they'd slept together and then have it not be the case. Artful. I like it.

I'm coming in so late to the party on this one.  I love it.  I love Angela and Kelly in this story as well as of course our Jim and Pam!

Author's Response: Well, welcome to the party! I hope I'm not writing too fast for you to catch up; I've found myself with a lot of down time this week and I can't stop! Haha. I'm so glad to hear you're enjoying it so far. Thank you so much for the review.

That was a great chapter. I was really loving Pam's back and forth reverie as she was on the train, thinking back to how she and Jim reconciled. Which, by the way, was adorable. How they left makes me a bit worried about what's going to happen over their winter break, but I have lots of hope for them in this story!!

Author's Response: I'm so glad you didn't mind the whole back and forth thing because that was the main thing I debated over for hours before finally posting this chapter. I wasn't sure it would work very well and that it would be too difficult to read. :/ Thank you for the review! And keep the faith! :P

I officially love you.

I mean, I loved you just from reading the title.

indie rock happens to basically be the only thing I listen to (:

so yeah, love this story. keep it going.

Author's Response: And I love you for this review! Thank you! I'm so glad you're enjoying it so far. And I hope you enjoy the music that accompanies each chapter.

yay! awww I love the macbook boombox-like bit. this is so modern day! I love it. I'm totally hooked. more please! lol I want to know what happens after that door shuts...

I seriously love how you write Kelly, it's just perfect. Go Pam for tellin him how she felt, and guh, how he came to her apartment with his macbook, come on UPDATE lol.

Author's Response: A pretty close friend of mine is SUCH a Kelly, I feel like the character comes somewhat naturally to me, which has helped tremendously. Haha. I wish they featured more girl talk on the actual show. :(

LMAO I'll cut her face, gotta love Kelly. I am so excited by this, I kinda don't want to read the next chapter as I then have to wait lol.

Author's Response: I'm so sorry to keep you waiting for the next chapter. My fingers want to write so badly, but this weekend has been exhausting. I promise I will not keep you waiting for long. Thank you for all of the reviews. It makes me giddy with joy to know that you're enjoying it. :)

i am full metal in love with this story and have been feverishly downloading each song as i go. i have the utmost respect for people who really know how to set a story to music, and you've got it down. and as a fellow West Suburban Chicagolander, i've been loving the references to the city. also, way to write an au where the characters still feel like jim and pam. i love this!

Author's Response: Aww, thank you. I am a music freak; my friends bought me a mp3 player with 80 GB for my birthday, and they couldn't believe it when I filled it up almost immediately. Perhaps I need two... I just had to set this story to music, because it's typically the music I'm listening to at the moment that inspires everything... So, thank you, I'm glad you like it!rnrnAnd- what! what! Fellow Chicago West Suburbaner! (Gang signs.) The weather outside is just awful today. :(

I don't post on here a lot, but I am absolutely in LOVE with this story! Pam's confidence in herself to say no to Roy, and to stand up to Jim with her ”Your parents really know how to party” quote... I love it! Awesome job!

Aaaaand Jim is right. Say Anything is one of the most romantic movies ever haha

Author's Response: Well, thank you for the review! I'm glad you're enjoying the story. I heart Say Anything. And pretty much any other romantic movie for that matter. When Harry Met Sally is a favorite, like Kelly. Haha. So if there are any other ties to other romantic comedies in this story, I would not be surprised. :P I'm a sucker for the romance. rnrn

Wow Jim's quite the ass in this. At least in the show you could understand is behavior, but he almost doesn't deserve Pam in this

Author's Response: Jim was a complete ass! I promise he'll have a chance to explain his behavior. Perhaps in an upcoming chapter...? Hmm. I've also seriously considered writing the story from Jim's point of view, because I think it could be pretty interesting to get inside that boy's head... But we'll see if I get inspired enough to actually do it. :P

I'm in love with this story! I've read all the chapters, and I don't want it to end. Is it greedy to want you to update right away? well i do.

Author's Response: Is it greedy that I want to skip out on work and just keep writing? Haha. Because I totally do! But I need the money for Christmas presents. :( I'm so glad you're enjoying the story. I'm so have a crush on both of the AU characters, so it makes me so happy that you're enjoying reading it as much as I'm in love with writing it. Thank you!!

Great job. I'm loving so much of this. I can't wait to see Jim explain himself for his douchebaggery (busy, my foot - how long does it take to send a quick Facebook message). And, oh, if you feel the need to bring on smut, I won't object (haha).
P.S. re: Chicago and cold - I lived near the lake and don't miss the wind! I'm actually in the South now and missing snow, but I'm from upstate NY, about an hour from the Western Mass border and a straight shot down from Quebec, so I'm used to the Canadian front Nor'easters.

Author's Response: Jim was being so duchist! (I so love that word, had to use it.) But I'm sure there's a reason. Perhaps he'll tell us? rnrnI'm very, very nervous about bringing on the smut. I've never attempted writing it before... I guess I'll have to see where the characters take me. ;) rnrnThe weather outside is downright miserable today. I'm being pelted with rain bullets! I hope the South is treating you a lot better. If you say you're in Texas right now, that would be pretty weird because I just moved from there over a year ago. I miss it terribly.

Love this. So glad they were able to work it out. I love the Journey song he played too. Another update this weekend? I can't wait to see what's next.

Author's Response: I promise I am going to try my best to get in an update this weekend. I desperately want to. I just came home from an 11 hour shift at work, and I'm oh so tempted to write, but I'm soooo tired. But, the characters need me!! Ugh, dilemma. So glad you're enjoying it so far! :D

I love that you provided the songs to listen to while reading this chapter--it really helped get into Pam's mindset. I usually can find one or two things wrong with any fic I read but I can't find anything that stands out to me & I can't wait to see where you take these two. Is it weird that I can't wait until they change their relationship statuses on facebook?

Author's Response: Well thank you, elly, I'm so glad you're enjoying it. I'm my own worst critic I guess, because I'm always finding something wrong with the story, and I'm sure the moderators on this site hate me because I probably send each story into the queue 30, 50 times before I'm just sorta "ok" with the final result. Haha. And may I just say that "Everything I Can't Say" is one of my favorite stories on here. Ever.

This chapter is as awesome as the Cut Copy song the title mentions.

Author's Response: Yay Cut Copy!! They're amazing. Or as Pam would say, they're awesome times awesome. They're awesome squared.
