You have to be one of my favourite writers on here. The way you write both Jim and Pam... you get them. I love reading stories like this, and imagining Jim and Pam on the beach with Cece just melts my heart. I cannot wait to read more from you... more of this and anything lse you plan to share with us :)
*adds you and this story to faves*

I loved this latest chapter. The ice cream thing just made me ache for a baby. And I love how you made a point that they weren't the same as they used to be and how she does miss it, but there's another good here than couldn't be there before. Lovely!

This is like 100 different kinds of adorable. The entire ice cream picture taking is so cute. Hope there's a lot more of these to come soon!!

This was so joyful, kaat--a real pleasure to read. Your images of a day at the lake and fun in the sprinklers had me grinning from ear to ear.

Hey, kaat! The nice thing about a gap between updates is reading the story from the beginning again :) I love these two as you've written them and now this little baby, too. My favorite detail has to be the pink nail polish from an earlier chapter, but now there's the idea of the two of them so in love with Cecelia. Great job!

This entire chapter melted me into a gooey pile. There's so many great lines that spoke to me, but the end was by far the best, starting from "I'm so proud of you." Great stuff, can't wait to read more!

This is very sweet, and you've captured their awe nicely without being maudlin. I laughed out loud at this line: “Those things are more amazing than I thought.”
So glad you got back to this. Lovely picture you've painted.

Aw, I missed this! So glad to see you back with this. I especially loved his line about wanting as many as Pam would make him. Too sweet. :-)

and you're going to get in it - just you. and yeah, frowning does feel really good. all my life i've mastered the straight poker style face. absolutely no expression, just bland. after a while it gets harder to smile. not that anyone cares. but still...
anyway, sorry for blabbling, i loved this chapter, short, but well done - and that's always been my preference. looking forward to the next one!

And they wave back.
oh-so-perfectly THEM!
He’s already picturing the near future, when, on a rainy night cracking with thunder, the patter of tiny feet will echo in the hall and there will be another head of curls sandwiched in between them.
D'AAAWWW!!!!
He smells like her vanilla shampoo.
Jim using Pam's shampoo... now THAT'S cute.

On steamed glass, he’s quietly written 17 baby names, with a heart drawn around one. Dwight.
GAH! love it! i'm currently writing a baby fic myself, and yep, they joke about the name "dwight." It's going to become a cliche, but ah well.
