Oh, xoxo, that's just lovely. I love your Pam voice. And you convey the surreality and the ambiguity of the emotions in that moment just beautifully. I mean, even when you've been trying, there's just something about finding out that leaves you stunned. They're going to be brilliant, aren't they? Aaaaand now I'm a weepy mess on a beautiful Thursday morning. Not that it's a bad thing but...yeah. See, my mom wrote me these kind of letters throughout all of my babyhood and it reminds me a lot of that. And it's so beautiful and spot on and just...yeah. Really really well done.

I'm pretty sure that there's going to be a lot of sickly sweet 'a baby's on it's way' fics coming our way ... but this isn't one of them! Well done - you manage to captured the odd combination of disbelief, excitement and emotion very well. I can remember feeling that way myself when I first found out that I was pregnant the first time.

Aw, that's cute! I really love how you put Pam's thoughts on the letter how when they found out about the baby and how she is going to feel when once the baby is born. Also I can SO see Jim doing that, going to the nearest store to get baby books right way because he's just so elated and excited about the pregnancy, he wants to learn and be there for her along the way. It's so sweet!! I hope you write some more! =)

I LOVE that they went and bought books immediately and I LOVE that Pam is writing a letter, and I especially love that they're calling the baby Jellybean because she's the size of one...holy cow.
