Author's Response: Squealing is good. :) Thank you so much!

::sigh:: I know. September seems so far away. Thanks so much for reading (and reviewing!) I really appreciate it.
Each time I read this, it just makes me more and more ready for September! Love it :)

I can't describe how excited I get when you post a new chapter. Very cool idea and I love the sweetness and humour in your writing.
Author's Response: Well that is very sweet of you to say. Thank you so much!!! I am so glad you are enjoying it.

I can't believe you're ALMOST there! I love it how Pam rambles on with the minivan issue, alo saying that they're still cool along with the other things involving getting ready for the baby. You should defintely continue when the baby is born and after it. You know, to see what Jim and Pam is dealing with a newborn. Just a suggestion..*shrugs*
Author's Response: I know. Those 7 or so months went pretty fast. LOL! I'm glad you liked that part. It was the beginning of this chapter for me - thinking that they'd be getting a new car. I might continue this...but maybe not till the fall. I want to see how different my version is from the writers first I think.

Almost there?! I want this to go on indefinitely. It never fails to brighten my day.
Author's Response: Well it only takes so long to have a baby you know. LOL! I'm happy though that you don't want it to end. I don't think you have to worry about me writing something else post pregnancy. I just might wait till the fall to get there. :)

Nice working in Pam's old fears about kids - and also, how she knows (even if she's kidding...sort of) that Jim will compensate for her (misconceived) shortcomings. And oh no! The dreaded minivan! (Just priced renting one today, to get my little baby to school with all her belongings in a couple of months...sob.) Oh well, I'm rambling, but this fic is like a good sitcom - lots of good, consistent episodes that make me smile and look forward to the next.
Author's Response: Aww colette. Hugs to you for seeing your baby off. :( I figure Pam would eventually start to freak and thought that this was a good time to bring it up. There's not a lot of time left. :) Thank you as always for the review. I'm so glad you're enjoying this.

Congrats, xoxoxo, you've gone further with Jim's career arc than the show has, and Jim isn't even really in your story! And the little Halpertlet will definitely inherit the stubborn gene. The grief those two gave us in just three years is proof of that.
Loved this: And my parents' problems have really just made me even more sure about what your dad and I have, not less. So freaking true. Sometimes an "anti-role model" can be just as effective.
Author's Response:
I am having trouble figuring out if Jim is just doing what he needs to do or really OK with working at D-M because of what it means for his personal life. I'm hoping we'll find out more in S6. But hell yeah they were stubborn. Drove me to drink.
Thanks so much for the review. I love hearing bits that people particularly liked.

Different, but kind of awesome. Still processing it.
/shortest review ever.
Author's Response: It really is. But I still appreciate it very much. :)

Well, at least Jim has an excuse. I want to buy stuff for kids that are not even my own. I swear, I walk buy stuff and am like "Aww, O would like that!" "Dude, Baby would look so cute in that" "Little Dude has that same one"....
And then I realize I need to stop buying stuff for all my kids because it makes me bankrupt.
Dude, it makes me feel old when I realize how old some of my kids are. I've known a few since they were born and such, and every birthday I just freak. Its like "no way are you 6!" "no way are you 13!"
Its kind of painful.
Author's Response: It's terrible. I want to buy my nieces every single thing I see. But I don't know - I can totally see Jim picking stuff up everywhere he goes like this.

Ya know, when I first heard that tuna thing, I made a promise to never get pregnant. Of course, I was in a phase (mandated y crappy cafeteria food) that I had tuna salad everyday for lunch.... so. that may have been a factor in the decision.
Author's Response: I think maybe that's not the best reason not to have kids. But you know I won't judge.

Ah, but the poor baby was still concieved illegitamately, and well, means that Bean is destined for hell, at least if all my Sunday School teachers had anything to say about it. Or ya know, whatever stereotypical Sunday School teachers said, because really, I tuned out about 99% of what my real teachers said.
Author's Response:
I know. Poor baby.
But Angela really shouldn't talk.

I'd trust Kelly babysitting over Meredith and Creed.
Ya know, we put child safe gate locks on at work. Escept the problem is, they are adult safe, not so much child safe.Kids are able to open them in a snap. However, us adults, we struggle and curse. I have however, found the most awesome door knob covers.
Author's Response: Oh for sure. Kelly's by no means the worst - but she still wouldn't be their first choice I don't think.

I wasn't supposed to be reading WIPs. But... um, here I am.
Oh, and curious - you only wish they were yours SOMETIMES?
Pam, when your 17 your daughter will not want to hear that story. Not if she's anything like me. Basically, I like just screaming at my mom and then running into my room and not wanting to hear anything rational OR romantic.
Parents don't have sex. Me and my bothers were obviously test tube babies. Seriously. Because if it happened any other way, I'm going to have to blow my brains out.
Oh, it was SO cute, a 3 (or 6, I forget which one) year old today told me, randomly "Drugs are bad. You shouldn't do drugs. I'm never going to, and my parents don't do them either!"
Author's Response:
Oh Em. I am glad you caved. You reviews always amuse me to no end.
I'd explain some things to you but I don't want you to blow your brains out.
Smart kid. ;)

You are killing me with the awesomeness. I'd be more specific but I'm on my way out and if I don't leave this now I won't get around to it, but this is just getting better and better with each chapter. Her hearing him come to the stairs and then decide it's not time yet... perfect, I can so see it.
Your Pam feels very real and all of these thoughts and fears she's having do, as well. Keep it up! :)
Author's Response:
I've whined enough to you lately so I will just say thank you.
I wrote a story a long time ago where Pam was pregnant and they had a fight and Jim would periodically come and check on her (thinking she didn't know). I didn't really remember that until I started to write this chapter. Weird.
Anyway...I am very glad you liked it.

Once again another perfect insight. I love how you threw alittle imperfection with the both of them. LOVE this!
Author's Response:
You're very kind to me. I don't think either one of them is actually perfect (though Jim does come close sometimes) so I always knew I wanted to show a little of that. Glad you liked it too!
Date: June 10, 2009 04:11 pm Title: Chapter 7
Cute. I'm glad Pam realises that she's not alone in this and that just because he's not pregnant, doesn't mean he can't freak out and stress about things - which a lot of fics forget -)
Awesome as always!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I know that it wouldn't be all sunshine and roses all the time so I'm glad you agree.

Author's Response:
:) back at you.
Date: June 10, 2009 11:03 am Title: Chapter 7
Hey, xoxoxo, wanted to let you know I really have been enjoying this story, even if I'm not the most frequent of reviewers. I especially love a chapter like this which presents the fears as well as the joys of a new baby along with shedding light on the not-so-perfect side of JAM. And you do such a great job of keeping it all in character and related to the show. Wonderful job! :) For what it's worth, I know people are wanting Jim's side, but I hope you keep this story in Pam's POV. I love reading about Pam and her own special connection with the baby.
Author's Response: Thanks iamapam! That is very sweet of you to say. I have always known that this story was about Pam's conversations with her "Bean". There was never a time where I thought Jim would come barging in...except for the part where I kinda planned for Jim to come barging in. I think people of both schools of thought ;) will be happy in the end. At least I hope so. :)

Again, I really like how Pam really feels about Jim and how much she realizes how he truly loves her in a way, he protects her while being pregnant. It's not just that, she wants them to work things out better and not wind up like her parents. They just need to thank for being there for each other and support. That's part of showing love in a way.
Author's Response:
That is exactly what I hoped would come across. I'm so happy to know I've succeeded. :)

I love these little letters, and you've totally nailed Pam's voice. And Jim's oddities... :)
The whole P.S. on this one got me misty-eyed, no premature babies please! I just lost my patient for the first time, and it's totally shaken me up and made me really think about my line of work as a NICU nurse... I'd gladly go jobless if it meant no more babies coming out too early.
Author's Response: Aww StarShine. *hugs* No worries here. Just happy, healthy full term babies. I promise. So glad you're enjoying it.

I've been guilty of reading (and enjoying this) without reviewing. Well, no longer. This was a very touching chapter - especially the part about Bean's room being the same as Jim's when he was younger. I just love this fic!
Author's Response: You are very sweet. Always lovely to hear from you. :) I just hope all my imaginings don't pale in comparison to what we actually see you know? Anyway - thank you so much for stopping by. Come back soon.

Guh. I cannot wait for a glimmer of Jim going overboard with his joy about becoming a daddy. Comedy gold with a sweet & gooey center.
Author's Response: Seriously. Is it September yet? :)

Perfect :)
Author's Response: Well I am sure that's arguable - but thanks for saying so!

This has become my favorite story. I get so excited when I see you have updated. I seem to be reading this with a silly grin on my face the whole time. Great job.
Author's Response: kh your review made my day. I am so happy you're enjoying it. Thank you so much!

So when is Jim's baby journal going to show up? haha
This is adorable. I keep thinking that I really hope they use some of your details in the next season.
Author's Response: So glad you like it!! Thank you so much!
