You should have them stop by Princeton NJ. There's an indie record store called the Princeton record exchange that's pretty amazing. Also there's this dive restaurant called hoagie haven (the sandwhich of choice is the phat lady: steak mozzarella sticks French fries and some other good stuff all on a torpedo roll)
Author's Response: Interesting... that sounds like just the trip this Jim and Pam would take. Thank you Silvereyes, I will definitely add it to the list!

Yay for BOSTON!!!! :) :) :)
What to do here... well, that's like asking how much air should you breathe lol...
Um, duck tours, Red Sox games, a plethora of bars (lovingly referred to as a pub crawl), shopping on Newbury Street, a whale watch, booze cruise in Boston Harbor, a Boston Pops show, the New England Aquarium or the Science Museum, a trolley tour, Faneuil Hall, walking the Freedom Trail, hanging out in Boston Common, etc... It's the best city in the world (in my opinion, lol) and I can't wait to see what/ if you write about!! :) :)
Author's Response: Thank you for all of the wonderful suggestions. I'm just sorry that I was unable to use them all, although realistically I have to keep Jim and Pam on a tight budget. They are planning for a family after all. ;) This list makes me want to visit Boston, um, asap. Can I just drive over from Chicago and shack up at your place for a couple of days? I promise I clean up after myself and I'm a pretty decent cook. I make a mean grilled cheese sandwich.

RAWR! So mean to cut it off there :P haha Babies are awesome and everything but its the process thats the most fun in my opinion! haha
Bravo as always!
Author's Response: I know, I'm sorry, that was mean of me. But I promise to make it up to you soon. Am I forgiven?

Ahh, I'm so glad to see this back! Of course, it's the beginning of the end, but I love this series so much. I think the original will always be my favorite, but they're both great, and I know this one will be just as. Thanks for coming back so soon! =)
Author's Response: Thank you for leaving a note. I'm so glad to hear that you're still reading. I think I also have an attachment to the original story moreso than the others, but that's a little secret that will just stay between you and me, yes? (Ha-ha.)

Ahh, I love this AU. I've been following it for a while but I didn't have a pen name. Also, you have fantastic taste in music, thanks for the introduction to the Republic Tigers!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm glad to hear that you've been enjoying this series so far. And yeah, my friends tell me I'm a music whore so I figured I would channel that energy into this story. I love the Republic Tigers! Thanks so much for leaving a review!

awesome (:
Author's Response: Thanks!

This series amazes me because it is so fluffy it's weightless yet remains substantial.. hopefully that makes sense. I love people figuring out a way to have it all by not trying to have it all at the same time. Ooooh, I have a trip idea and I'll message you so as not to leave a HUUUUUge review.
Author's Response: Thanks, and yeah I totally get what you mean. This story has been all about having fun, and showing the more lighthearted side of things. I just can't do angst and drama after the writers of the show have driven it into our heads repeatedly over the course of the year that Jim and Pam are meant to be together, and I can't imagine them being anything but deliriously and ridiculously happy together all the time. Oh who knows, maybe I'll channel my inner sadist and send them into a bitter divorce to close out the series... Kidding! Oh, and I never got your message, but be sure to let me know your thoughts on what kind of trip they should take. I'm still open to ideas. Sadly, I have not even started on the next chapter. (Shh, don't tell! Ha-ha.) Thanks for the review.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this so freaking much already!!!
They should not go to Michigan, Michigan is evil... they almost denied me entry in to the country because my last name sounded German??????? Freaky, no? lol. They should go to NYC for sure ohhhh or Boston, Boston is HOT!!!
Oh I love you lol - and sexy teacher Jim is back and that makes my heart go BANG!
Author's Response: Darn Michigan airport security! Seriously though, don't be afraid to give Michigan another shot. Granted, I've only traveled to the southeast portion of the state and the beaches along Lake Michigan, which is really only an hour or two out of Illinois, but it's really, really nice. :) And I am sort of leaning toward the east coast, all of a sudden, for some reason.... Ha-ha. I love Boston, and NYC, and everywhere in New England period. I sort of have this fond attachment to that area since I spent a lot of my childhood there so... Yes, we shall see. :)

Another great chapter! And I love the road trip idea, those are so much fun!! The should go to Seattle, I've always wanted to road trip there. (though, it'd be a little farther for me...) Or California...or Texas. Okay, so I really don't care :) Can't wait for the next update!
Author's Response: I have always wanted to visit Seattle. It's one of the few places here in the U.S. that I've yet to go, and I've often thought of taking the Amtrak since driving would take over 20 hours for me. (!!) And Texas- hello, born and raised and moving back from Chicago this fall! So excited. Okay, so to be honest I'm really not sure where I want to send our Jim and Pam just yet, but I'm sort of leaning toward the East coast... (??) Thank you so much for leaving a note! I hope to have the next update up very soon...

I hear Boston is a good place to vacation when you're from Wisconsin HINT HINT! Plus, we have a Sox team, too :) Maaaaaaybe they could go down to the Newport winery in RI if they're really craving some vino, head over to the cape for some sun, etc, etc.
Again, I love this story. Your Pam and Jim are perfect and so sugary sweet I'm pretty sure I need to go brush my teeth. This is going to be an awesome summah!
Author's Response: I love Boston. Both of my parents were born and raised in Boston, and my entire family resides there so I always have an excuse to go. I haven't visited in a couple of years though, and I'm liking the idea of an East coast field trip for our Jim and Pam, especially since I'm somewhat familiar with the idea having spent most of my childhood in and around Massachusetts, New York, New Hampshire, Vermont, RI... Hmmm... Thanks for the lovely review, and I'll keep you posted if I need any Boston ideas. ;)

I'm so psyched to see you're continuing the saga (although... how firm are you on this being the final story? That just sounds silly!). Jim and Pam are so cute and funny and give me a relationship to aspire to!
And I am sure I will love any destination, but I'm in Las Vegas so if you do decide to send them here, I can try to help you out with that.
Author's Response: I'm pretty sure... very sure about this being the final story. But I'm sure there are other stories for me to tell once this series is finally brought to an end. I'll be sad to see it go. And ooh-la-la, Vegas! I'll keep you posted if that is, in fact, where they end up going. To be honest, I still haven't figured that out quite yet. I'm doing all this crazy research in an attempt to see what Jim and Pam, who have just bought a house (!!) would be able to afford. Stay tuned...

Hooray! You are back! And with such dedication, only nine working digits... very impressive.
So, babies... huh. I cannot wait to see this journey with our fave couple, through your AU eyes. Sweet!
Author's Response: Ha-ha, yes the slight handicap will not deter me from writing. So glad to have you back on board, Aivilo. I look forward to your lovely comments oh-so much. :)

ooooooooooohhhhhhhhhh fever! haha okay yeah. loved it and sorry about your finger
Author's Response: Fever! I now have that song stuck in my head- thank you. Ha-ha. Thanks for the note, I'm glad you enjoyed this chapter. The finger is healing slowly but surely. Shamefully, I kind of like getting myself all battered and bruised, and having a neat little splint on my finger. It makes me seem all... tough and stuff. And I can make up stories about getting into bar fights. Oh yeah, people will think I'm so hardcore.

Awh! I'm so glad you are writing this! So very glad. I love Jim and Pam deciding to have a baby! Yay!!
I'm sorry about your finger. That must not be any fun, although, I'm so very glad that you are dedicated enough to continue typing even though you are currently out of commission. :) Or partitally...
Author's Response: Yeah the broken finger is a drag, but it will not keep me from writing! This I promise you. I'm happy to hear that you're excited for this story. I hope that I do not disappoint.

I can't tell you how happy I am with another installment of our happy couple (and friends). I am looking forward to more of their adventures. Yeah for a baby too!
Author's Response: Yay! So glad to have you on board with this story. I have lots of fun and interesting ideas, so be sure to stay tuned! Thanks so much for dropping a note. :)

I had a goofy smile on my face the entire time I was reading this. I'm so happy there's another story!
Author's Response: Thank you; I'm so glad that you enjoyed it. Lots of fun in store with these next couple of chapters. ;)

SQUEEEEE!! You're back!!! And with another edition of my most favoritest story of all time! AND THIS TIME WITH A BABY!!!! I can already tell this is going to be phenomenal. Just with this first chapter. I am SO excited! :)
Author's Response: Aw, thank you so much for the lovely comments. I'm so glad that you're excited for this third installment. I have so many fun ideas for this story, and I can only hope that they will pan out in the end and leave you satisfied. This will be the final chapter in their story after all. (*Tear*)

Yay! A baby story for your Jim and Pam! I can't wait to read about the hilarity and the hijinks.
I love this line from Pam: “Like, this isn’t just some impulsive thing that we’re just going to throw ourselves into without actually being prepared for it?"
Oh Pam, you have no idea. I remember thinking that way too. So much to learn ;-)
Author's Response: Ha-ha. Yes, Pam and Jim are in for a few surprises. If they only knew what I know... Muah-ha-ha. Thank you so much for the review!

Urm do I love this chapter? YES. Will I love this installment as much as the other too? HELL YES. Have I missed the playlists? YEEEEEEES.
LOVE IT OMG :) Is it sad how much I love Molly?
Author's Response: Ha-ha, thank you Mrs. Hannah Halpert- so glad to have you back on board with this story. :)
Date: May 26, 2009 02:17 pm Title: Exaltation on a dark and stormy night
YAY to another installment! I cant wait to read more! :D
Author's Response: Thanks, aimzers. I'm already hard at work on the next chapter. Hope to have it up perhaps later tonight or early tomorrow morning. :)
Date: May 26, 2009 01:48 pm Title: Exaltation on a dark and stormy night
ahaha i just broke my finger a few weeks ago, it's hard to type.. and yes my story's embarassing too
..guess i shouldn't let people try and jump on my back
Author's Response: Aw, well I hope your finger is healing up nicely. I just broke mine... well, yesterday actually, and for some strange reason, despite all of the pain, I felt the need to type. As for my embarrassing story? It was a very late night, and it involved a game of truth or dare, a whip cream canister, and a refrigerator door. And before your mind begins to wander, I should add- I work at a coffee shop. And it was a truly innocent, PG-rated event, I promise you.

so many quotes I'm using as away messages (:
Author's Response: Ha-ha. Thanks Mixedbreedgirl. ;)

You are the best ever for writing this!!!
Loved the intro, can't wait for more to come. I can't wait to read all about the jim and pam baby experience.
This should definately help getting through the office-less summer!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review- I'm glad you liked this chapter. This is going to be one looong summer. I've never looked forward to September as much as I am right now. Especially since it brings along the start of another school year. Ugh.
