Good thing I get an email when a fave posts, or I'dve missed this. You, my friend, just nudged the sun back up into the sky and gave this falling Office franchise one more day of summer. Great story. Love the frolf bit -- its just the kind of non-sport Andy would get really into (perhaps hackeysack too), and the Andy's interpretation of dude law: he's not gay since the threshold for gayness is doing "the entire dude population." Nice!

I feel weird. Sort of retro-y, reading Office fic by an old hand like yourself. It's like we've mostly died off by now. I'm still alive but lapsing in and out of a coma. The coma is JAM baby induced, btw.

Wert!!! I'm happy you're still alive! Also, I'm glad that Oscar was Oscary. I always worry about his narrative voice and fear that it's too me, but I'm glad I got it right in this fic.
Yeah, I've noticed a lot of the regulars seem to be missing. I must admit, I've been off of Office fic for awhile, but then Oscar/Andy revived my love. Season 5 was definitely not my favorite season, but Andy saved it for me, as always.

This was freaking brilliant. *standing ovation* There are so many good lines if I quoted I'd be picking out half the story. The exchange about Ryan's eyes - hilarious. Jim and Pam as Michael and Ryan. Andy and Donny Osmond. The Swedish meatball scene. I could go on and on. So much to love here. It's just delightful /Andy.

I hope this doesn't offend you, but when I read the title, I expected to read something light, funny and borderline offensive. But it wasn't! Offensive, I mean--it was funny. But it was also much deeper than I expected. awesome job.
Author's Response: Hahaha, don't worry, I get what you mean. I could have definitely made this more offensive, especially during Michael's talking head, but when it comes to Andy/Oscar I am all about the harmless fluff. Also, I'm glad you found some deep moments in there, too!

I have the biggest smile on my face right now. This was simply delightful. And don’t take this the wrong way, but I almost didn’t expect to like it. I love both Andy and Oscar, and see why they would make sense, but lately I’ve started to think that maybe these people should try dating outside the office. And also, Andy is almost too “gay” to be really gay (that probably only makes sense if you live in my head though). But you sold it. You sold it good. Oscarsexual and the way they make each other feel like themselves… That’s exactly how you feel when you fall in love with your unlikely soul mate. This story is so funny and real and touching and I just love it. A++
Author's Response: Aww, thank you so much! And I am sort of with you on the whole "these people should date outside of the office" thing. They've kind of oversaturated us with office romances, and I honestly thought I was done with them, but then Oscar/Andy subtext happened and I was back in. Also, when it comes to Andy. I think he is so desperate for affection that I can see him falling in love with anyone, be them male or female. He's always had homosexual tendencies, but I don't think I considered him fully bisexual until season 4 when he had that mancrush on Ryan. Anyway, I am so glad that you enjoyed this fic despite your reservations! Thanks again for reviewing.
