Author's Response: Aww, thanks :)

also... who is Little Dude?
Author's Response: Oh, he'smy 4 year old neighbor I babysit for. I don't like to use my actual kids names (always afraid if one of the parents finds out). I've been babysitting for him since 9 months. He's my little stalker/fiancee (he proposed! he gave me a ring! ooooh, story idea...). But yeah, all my kids have 'online identies' Little Dude, Baby, Girl, The Girl, Banana, Alex, Jim, Cranky, Belly, Boy... etc.

lol. yeah, homework is pretty bad. though i think it's better than having school for like 8-10 hours every day. i'd much rather stay with my 6.
i'm already longing for thursday, though. it's my favorite day of the week, after it is friday, when nothing bad can happen, then you have the weekend which passes in a second. then you just have 3 more nights! genius, huh :)

Each little vignette is adorably heartwarming. Nice job!
Author's Response: Aww, thank you. So glad you liked!

Kids are germy little buggers :) I hope your idea allow themselves to be shared with us! I can relate to each of these--some more fondly than others ; ) Thanks!
Author's Response:
I'm pretty sure my immune system hates me. I expose it to so much crap for those kids. In the past month, I've been exposed to various stomach ailments, numerous colds, lice, swine flu, strep throat, and god knows what else.
I'll definitely share more when I write them. Some of them I have a really good premise for, but when I write it, it doesn't seem cute, it seems more sad or annoying (such as my one experience with monsters wasn't cute or anything, it was a kid trying to manipulate me for a later bedtime). But thanks for all your great reviews!

Guh. This kills me. Fortunately, my son still allows hugs (but I think they're only for my benefit). Poor Pam.
Author's Response:
We (as a family) have never really been that big on hugging. So right now, its really weird what stage my mom and my brother are in. He kind of feels like he should be a grownup and give mom a hug as he is leaving. But its also like, completely forgein. So, its kind of like this weird dance as they figure out how to say goodbye. Kind of entertaining from my perspective.

I haven't been a genius in such a long time. *sigh* These little stories just melt my heart.
Author's Response:
Yeah, unfortunately, I haven't either. And I work with the 8 and younger set. One time we had to read this story and pick out all the short e sounds in it. And we had to find like 10 of them. And try as I might, I could only find 3. Yeah, that was a fun day.
Thanks :)

Ah, there definitely is a place for fluff. How can you not smile when you read something like this? Of course Pam would be a princess! Loooove the drawing :)
Author's Response: I like making people smile. I was never crowned a princess though... Of course, the little girl who drew it firmly believed she would grow up to be a princess.... so I was always the princess's babysitter in her fantasies!

While she was still pregnant, he would read stories to her bump – everything from Dr. Seuss to 2,000 Leagues Under the Sea. That really gets me. I remember reading sitting in bed with my newborn (now 16) like it was yesterday. Our first book was The Little Prince, one of my favorites. This is so sweet, Em.
Author's Response: My dad would read us books all the time when me and my brother were little. Never as animated as Jim, of course, but it would just be the three of us, or sometimes the two of us if it was a book for only one of us. I'm sure I acted as if I didn't enjoy it, I was usually building forts while he was reading, but I still would listen and digest every word.

So. Frickin'. Cute.
Author's Response: Thanks. I'm not kidding when i say how adorable it was when Little Dude did it to me. I nearly melted on the spot!

I can't decide if I want to have Sophie and Ben as children or Pam and Jim as parents. Either way, life would be cute. :D
Author's Response:
Yeah, cute would describe it. I think I'd go with Pam and Jim as parents. No, wait... Sophie and Ben... or... I can't decide!

snotty jello. wasn't sure was this was about when i read the title. but duh!
Author's Response: Yeah, as long as it isn't real snotty jello.... because otherwise... EW!

yes, miss sophie, your dad is a lovable, cute genius, who charms his way to get what he wants. lucky, lucky you.
Author's Response: I think Jim should use his powers for good and somehow convince the president that homework is a bad idea. Because none of my 'kids' think I'm a genius and having to read about weather vanes and wind socks is getting annoying. (great, only monday and already sick of homework for the week!)

so adorable. i love the 28 fingered, purple haired pam! she's a great mother, i guess she's changed her mind from take your daughter to work day, because she seems like a natural now!
Author's Response: I think she will. I mean, I think she'll be incredibly nervous and freaking out, but there's so much that just, it does come naturally once you get in that position. (like I know *rolls eyes*). And plus, she's already a mother to Michael!

Awesome! Anything in jello makes me laugh... That's a nice pick-me-up! Tooo cute!
Author's Response: Yeah, the initial thing was just a box of kleenex, but I just knew Jello would make it even better. Even if slightly improbable.

Ewww. Very cute.
Author's Response: Those two things seem odd together, but I'll take it. Thanks so much!

oh my gosh, that is the most adorable thing i've ever read. and so perfectly written too! i'll keep reading, but sorry if i don't review for a bit! just know this is amazing!
Author's Response: Thanks. That was the first thing that came to my mind for this story. I could just see it all in my head (probably because it happened to me), and so glad other people are seeing how adorable it is!

Author's Response: Best Pam/Dwight ever!

I love that name. Sophie Halpert. V. Cute :)
Author's Response: I keep coming back to that name. Its too adorable. Nothing else seems right now. I'm going to be very disappointed if Baby Tuna's name doesn't live up to my expectation

Jim would be an amazing nighttime story teller. However I think it would be more antagonizing than calming because they'd be laughing and giggling hence not quite getting the point of getting ready for bed....
Author's Response: Yeah, I know.I actually thought of that. But then I figured I loved the idea of Jim reading to them too much and maybe they just... drugged them after that to get them to sleep. Yeah, that's it. Read then drugs. (More people will do drugs than read a book to their children!)

:D Little Dude inspires lots of greatness, doesn't he? So adorable.
Author's Response: Um, duh. Because he is adorable and therefore, damn him, he can't help it.
