You know,my own mother says she craved Mexican food constantly when she was pregnant with me and I LOVE IT...I often wonder who caused who to have the craving? me or her? lol. You know what's disturbing... the baby drinks the aminotic fluid. It also pees into the amniotic fluid. I've been reading up on pregnancy cause of these two, and that's what gets stuck in my mind.
And you totally did that like half sentence in the NBC.com thing justice. So wonderful.

sooooo perfect, like always! i am always so excited when i see something by you. this is was delicious - i loved all the little moments you captured between jim and pam. the dialogue between them is always so real and so in character!
favorite part was the end. taking a santa picture with a sonogram? priceless.

I loved this story.
The idea of a picture with a sonogram is so cute - kinda wish I would've thought of that ages ago when my children were baking since they won't go anywhere near him now. They're only 2 and 1, though...

This is really super sweet and adorable. Even though when I walk through the mall and see couples holding hands, being all lovey dovey, it drives me nuts, I thought it was adorable that Jim and Pam did that in this fic. I like their smidgen of banter, and having Jim thinking about how weird it is that he cares about work was so in character I believe. This whole thing brought a smile to my face. I hope that was coherent. I've been up since 3:30am. Anyways, great stuff! Happy Holidays!

This was a sweet, home decorated Christmas cookie sort of story. Just what we needed for the holidays, thank you! I loved that they each think it's going to be the opposite sex, and this little exchange was marvelous. I could just hear Pam's voice saying it:
A firm nudge against the wall of her belly, drew her hand close to rub circles.
"I shouldn't have said that out loud...It's supposed to be a surprise."
Another nudge.
"I'm glad you like it though."
I also thought it was very realistic in that they both were so relieved about having a job, but they chose to experience that relief individually.

Such a fun, light-hearted and fluffy lead into the holiday. I especially liked this passage:
"She socked him in the arm as they watched the elf speak hurriedly to an equally annoyed looking Santa. Pam lifted her head slightly and smiled sweetly. Jim watched the guy nod as if he had no other choice in the world.
He understood completely."

It's so great how you took a little snippet from the NBC 12 Days of Xmas and turned it into such a heartwarming glimpse of Jim and Pam's last Christmas before their baby arrives.
I love how you conveyed the relief they felt at knowing they still have jobs and how Jim realized how different it is now knowing that he cares.
The banter between them was so cute and of course, the sonogram picture w/ Santa...*swoon*
