Lovefool, I've been entertaining family from out of town for the past week and have just had the opportunity today to read both chaps of this wonderfully angsty fic. Does the fact that I'm enjoying the product of your misery (and the return of the green panty monster) make me selfish? For what it's worth, I appreciate the fact that you're suffering for your craft ; ) Ready for more when you are, my dear.
Author's Response: LOL. It's ok, I'm not too miserable. hehehe. I'm glad you got a chance to break away from the relatives long enough to read! And SUPER glad you're enjoying! I too, am sort of into bringing back the green panty monster. ROFLMAO.

This is so full of wonderful angst. I usually get nervous when I read that but this seems so realistic to me that I can't help but love it. I know they can work this out. I LOVE this story.
Author's Response: KH this is me you're talking to. I will NEVER break Jim and Pam up in a story. I just can't do it. There's never reason to be nervous about that with me! lol. Thanks so much for reading and responding. You're awesome!

oh goodness! i'm so glad to see an update. now i need a conclusion... write, write, write! i can't take much more tension. thanks for keeping me in suspense :)
Author's Response: hahaha, thanks for being so excited for this story! It really helped to know there were people waiting for updates! Lit a fire under my arse! Thanks again!

You are inspired, my dear girl. This is so well written that I am absolutely consumed with the tension, and it is just mean for you to leave it on this note! ;) I can't wait to see how you wrap this up!
Author's Response: Callisto what a big supporter you were through this! You were so encouraging! Thanks so much. I hope you enjoyed the way the story wrapped up. It was certainly different for me.

Wow, that was amazing! You are so good at touching at all the possible elements of emotion that Jim and Pam have in their relationship. Great job, this was really good. I'm looking forwards to seeing how you continue this!
Author's Response: Thanks so much PamelaMorganHalpert I hope you're handling all this stress well! haha! I love your name.

how did i not review this? keep it up, can't wait to see your second part. this is a great angle on the situation, i'm glad you picked this up!
Author's Response: Why thank you Yanana!

I love that you're exploring the inevitable tension that would be caused from the stress of this job situation - I so wish that the actual show would do this as well. Jim's need to put on a good front for Pam especially given her pregnancy/health concerns is very in character and Pam's reaction to that is spot on as well. She could always tell when something was bothering him. Can't wait until the next chapter.
Author's Response: Aw Jazzy, I'm glad you're enjoying the story! I wish we'd get more of the tension as well...but I suppose that's the beauty of fanfic, eh? I hope to have the story updated soon!

god! wow i didnt want this to end. UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE!!!! i love angst. this story its like so real and cruda, and funny to in some parts with that mom sex talk lol.
i cant wait to see what happens next.
Author's Response: Real and cruda? What's cruda? lol. Oh I am so often out of the loop with the lingo! haha. Anyway, thanks so much for your excitement over the story! I hope to have it updated very soon!

loved this! poor jam with all of the miscommunication, but i feel like this is an accurate depiction of something they would go through. and part 2! i need it, like pam needs some "attention" from jim ;)
Author's Response: hahaha. "Attention"...yeah, we should all be so lucky to get such attention, huh? Thanks so much for the review!

Oooh this is good! (Not that I expect anything else from you LoveFool!) I found myself very anxious/nervous reading it and I had to keep reminding myself "They're married and having a baby - no matter what else happens, they still have that!" It's weirdly nice reading angst that doesn't revolve around unrequited love or people potentially breaking up. It's realistic angst that's tough, but can be worked through (fingers crossed). And you always do perfect inner monologues. It makes it so easy to connect to them and truly understand and sympathise. Awesome stuff. Can't wait for more!
Author's Response: Wow, thanks so much MilkandSugar. I really enjoy writing inner monologues so I'm excited to hear you say that! I'm with you, I'm grateful that the unrequited thing is over. Now there's so much potential to just play with drama without it potentially ending things before they even begin!

Ahhhh you better be writing the next chapter right now, because that was amazing. I loved that you brought Karen back in to this, I still think she's awesome. And Pam calling her mom for advice, then bringing up sex, lmao awesome!!!
Your stories always make my day. Now come on, get writing :)
Author's Response: Aw, thanks so much for saying so many awesome things. I wasn't the biggest Karen fan, but I didn't think she was the devil either. lol. Just a girl lookin' for love. Glad you're enjoying my stories! They are a blast to write!

As always,so realistic. I love this, bring more please :)
Author's Response: Thanks so much JHalpert! Your'e awesome.

I'm so glad to see a WIP that's incredibly well written, realistic, and leaves me wanting more. I love realistic angst & I just am so eager to see where this story goes. Please continue as soon as possible!
Author's Response: Wow, thanks so much Bright Lights 4, those are such wonderful things to say!

Good gravy, this is angsty and realistic and awesome. It is so believably real and heartbreaking and just...gah! (P.S. Gah is actually good. Just in case you aren't adept at translating bashert).
Awesome. Just beautiful and realistic and awesome.
Author's Response: Bashert, I think you're such an amazing writer so thank you so, so much!

You are just full off awesome stories, LoveFool...I love all of them. But this one especially, it feels so real and understandable and I always pictured that the buy-out thing would turn into a problem between them, just like this. I hope you're writing more, because I can't wait for more!
Author's Response: You leave such awesome, awesome reviews. Thanks so much! I'm glad you're enjoying the story. The rest is on it's way soon!
Date: December 29, 2009 07:41 am Title: Part 1
This is fantastic! It feels so realistic between the two of them. I've always felt that they have a hard time telling the other one what is really going on in their heads. I also loved the Pam/Mom talk. It's how I imagined that relationship to be. I can't wait for more!
Author's Response: Glad you enjoyed the Pam/Mom talk. That was one of my favorite parts to write!

ooh angsty and so well done. cannot wait to see more and where this is headed. However you do have me nervous with all this Karen talk... :) So heartbreaking and realisitic! Nice job, LF!
Author's Response: Don't be nervous. I am not going to do anything crazy! ;-)
Date: December 29, 2009 06:22 am Title: Part 1
Lovefool, this is awesome and I can't wait to see how you finish it up. They need to play with this kind of tension and nerves on the show when it comes back... it's a really stressful thing to think you're about to lose your job! I can feel the tension!
Author's Response: Thanks Callisto!!! I'm really hoping they will explore the tension more too...Here's hoping that when the baby comes we'll get to see a bit more. They can't pass up that opportunity, right?

Oh, Lordy! This is great. Love the Pam!Angst and the Jim!Angst. I'm so glad that we're at a point in the arc of the story to where all of the angst mined from the show and the resulting fanfic isn't just Jim's unrequited desires -- it's great to see what happens post-happy ending. I still loves me some angst. Please update soon!
Author's Response: Thanks Mountaineers, I feel the same way! There's so much material to draw from now...especially given there's so much of their relationship that we don't see -- you'd think the show would build on possible fights that they'd had at home, etc. Alas, I guess that is what fanfic is for!
