Oh, and we have a parent whose all freaked out because her kid isn't a screamer. I tell her to be grateful, but she doesn't believe me!
Ya know what, babies are something great. Smelly breakable something greats, but still.
I love well written Michael pieces. Especially well written Michael but really Jim and Pam pieces.

I kind of choked on air and tears while reading this. Really, really beautiful insight into what Michael may feel when this time comes. Very lovely written ... which feels so weird to think about something told from Michael's perspective!
With the whole "folding hands" thing at the end ... yeah, I was done for.

This brought tears to my eyes - for Jim and Pam's happiness over their new baby, and for Michael wondering how long until he gets to hold his own. (TWSS - I couldn't resist). Poor Michael.

Oh, this is fun and so different hearing it from Michael's POV. Nicely done. This line I could just hear come out of Jim's mouth:
"Michael," Jim says, smirking. "Gotta quit telling people my kid is yours. That's borderline creepy."
I love Michael on the occasion he has these lucid thoughtful moments.

oh, yanana, this was one of the most beautiful and perfect things i've ever read. ever. Maybe I'm just overexcited about the baby ep, but honestly - i almost cried reading this! michael's voice was spot-on, your descriptions were FABULOUS. i loooooved the lined about the black baby - so good!

More than anything, he's like the baby's big brother--the excitement, the anxiousness : D The thought of Jim announcing his child's birth is something I'm so looking forward to. Great job. That is so cute, and this..
He slides next to Jim and holds his arms out. "Congratulations, buddy!" He had to kind of bump past Helene to get to him, and that's awkward, but he actually didn't mean it to be, so it doesn't count, right?
Jim's face is red and there are tears on his face. Whoa. "Thanks, Mike," he says, probably the happiest Michael's ever heard him, and Jim engulfs him in a hug. Pats him on the back.
Is it that they're like brothers? Because Pam was almost his daughter, and your almost-daughter can't have sex with your brother because that's ingest, and there are laws against that and Jesus would be pissed.
LMAO had me laughing SO much.

Oh my god, that was so beautiful! I didn't think I would ever say that about a Michael story, but I love how calm and peaceful he seems to be - even around all the excitement of a new baby.
