Okay, so more reading old fics... so yay.
Jim likes shopping more than me. It is such a hassle. Have to get to the car, have to drive all the while yelling at the sheer act of driving. Have to find products in a store that I STILL don't know where anything is even though I have been shopping there for over a year. Have to get annoyed at how I am a picky eater and there isn't anything good. Get annoyed that they are out of such and such. Or that it is on the top shelf and I can't find it. Or that I can only get the super jumbo sized thing which will totally go to waste because I am just cooking for me. Oh, and then get back. And then park the car far away and carry the groceries up the stupid hill and back into my apartment and then groan because my roommate went shopping also, and our fridge is packed and there just isn't enough room for another gallon of milk.
Wow, is that way more than you wanted to know about me?
Ignore all that and just read the first sentence.
I believe I actually have read this before. And since yesterday I realized this was probably published before I made an account to leave reviews, I am therefore not psychic and can't just channel your writing into my head. Sad day for me, but you still get a review.
I love how that note really isn't just talking about SunChips. Because, it isn't. It is talking about more than that. Haha. I make myself laugh at least.

Sun Chips in Garden Salsa are delicious!
Jim's letter had just the right amount of subtle double-entendres. Very well-wirtten.
And thanks for giving Karen the snack-size bag.
Author's Response:
And thanks for giving Karen the snack-size bag.
hehe - she's lucky she got anything at all. It was all Jim's idea. ;-)

Ah, awesome! Do they really have a new salsa flavor? Just curious. I wasn't really paying attention the last time I went shopping... I did get some french onion Sunchips the last time I bought a sandwich for lunch, though. And it made me smile to myself, but man -- it feels good to tell someone else now! Haha.
I love this. I'd love a second chapter -- maybe we could see Pam's reaction, wrapped up in what she happened to be doing that day?
Author's Response: Yep - there really is a new Garden Salsa Flavor! No promises on a Chapter 2, but never say never. :-)

Never in the history of literature has a bag of chips inspired so much literary thought! Who'd a thunk it? This is really fun and clever and also seems very Jim: taking an ordinary thing and having the wit and creativity to turn it into something funny and meaningful (e.g. yogurt lids, hot sauce packets, the Olympic games.)

This is the cutest thing and so original -- a Sun Chips metaphor!!! Who could have seen that coming?

Oh, you're killing me with these 'waiting for a reaction' endings! Even though I'm sure we can all imagine how much she's going to like her new chips.
Jim's so good with the appropriate metaphors!

A brilliant solution to the how-to-reconnect-with-Pam problem!
"Life's too short to be afraid to try a little change in your favorite snack."
Most excellent.

YES! Just a single serving size for Karen!!! How freaking adorable would it be for this to be on the show?!?! Thanks, Moxie!

What a beautiful metaphor. Very skillfully done! (Choose the new chips, PAM!). And amen, Karen only deserves the little bag!

I know that it is really silly to be this excited, but I am sitting here eating Garden Salsa sunchips. I squeed! This wa s a cute story. I like how it is somewhat parallel to Things he Left Behind.

In Stamford even 'playtime' was structured and scheduled.
Wow. In the middle of all the fluff (which is absolutely lovely in its own way, of course), there is this incredibly astute, succinct observation about the difference between the two branches and why Jim doesn't really fit in with the Stamford crowd.
Just...wow.

Wow. Who knew chips could hold so much metaphorical meaning?
And suddenly I have the urge to run to the store to try a bag of Garden Salsa Sun Chips. Hmmm.
Nice job!
Author's Response: thanks! I was worried it was too weird or abstract. I should have trusted my intelligent readers more! :-)

This was so good! I love Jim's note to Pam with it's double meaning. And I also loved Jim putting the large bag of Herr's S&V back to get the single serve size. What a great idea you had for this story.
Author's Response: Thank you! I was afraid it was too silly...

I really liked this! Single serve for Karen. HA! Ahem. Really sweet idea and great execution.
Author's Response: I'm glad you caught the 'single serving' meaning. ;-) Thanks for reading!!!

I LOVE this. It's such a cute way for him to reach out, and I like that you incorporated Jim/Karen as well - because really, even though he's in love with Pam, he's just thoughtful like that and full of nice little gestures.

So very...Jim. :-) I love the letter. Also: Actually he did most of the calling, and more than once she was ready to just give up. He wasn't used to having such an uninterested partner in the game.
I hadn't noticed that! Thank you for pointing that out!!!

All the layers of meaning associated with chips! What a powerful snack. ;) I like it!
Author's Response: thanks - I really wasn't sure how it would be received, because it's kind of ....odd. But I stand by my assertion that it's something he might think of doing. (Relating to Pam on her passive/agressive level!)
