As I anxiously await the 1st episode of S4 I'm reading missed fanfic to pass the time. Time4moxie, this letter confirming the existence of an need for a

This made me laugh so hard... but also gave me squishy feelings of YEAH! I *do* believe in Jims, I do! I do! :)

Hee! So much fun.

How did I miss this when it was posted?
Not believe in Jim Halpert! You might as well not believe in Jim Krasinski. Hee!
Did they ever see John Krasinski in a photo without his shirt on? Of course not, but that’s no proof that they are not out there. We'll have at least one in 178 days (or less!) Maybe Darryl will print us up a poster of it like the photo of Jan -- Double Hee!

This story makes my heart sing. Our family tradition is to read Virginia's letter and the editor's response, so it's fresh in my mind as I read your story today. The parallel is uncanny withut disturbing the original and the hope remains alive. A very special New Year to you
Author's Response:
thanks - I love that original letter too, and this was a reponse to someone on Television Without Pity trying to convince herself that Jim wasn't "real". ;-)
Happy New Year to you as well!

Hee! Very clever and cute. Oh, to see all those wonders unseen and unseeable in the world...

This absolutely cracked me up.
Oh, the wonder of a shirtless John Krasinski.

Best thing in the ENTIRE world. You are my favorite person ever. I will not rest until I find my Jim Halpert!

This was wonderfully funny!
"He sees you when you're sleeping, he knows when you're awake, he knows if you've been bad or good, so be naughty for Jim Halpert's sake." ;)

OMG MOXIE.
Everyone in my vacinity is currently wondering what is making me laugh like the loon that I am.
This was brilliant - and MUCH appreciated.
You completely rock. And yes, like Virginia, you've completely convinced me.
You've done your job. I still believe. :)
My favoritest part of all???
Did they ever see John Krasinski in a photo without his shirt on? Of course not, but that’s no proof that they are not out there. Nobody can conceive or imagine all the wonders there are unseen and unseeable in the world.
Now if I can just have my own miracle just like Susan Walker where if I go to Macy's Jim Halpert would be there I'd die happy.
And I wouldn't complain if I got to sit on his lap either. ;)
Author's Response:
Shut up! I don't have TIME to write a "Miracle on Slough Boulevard" right now!! But maybe for a Christmas challenge?
Glad you liked it; I couldn't resist and the original was just begging to be modified for a response.

Wow, this takes fanfic to a whole new meta level. Especially like the last line. Only, I'm not sure JK really exists either...maybe 'we're just drunk' and imagined them both?
Author's Response: Then give me a vodka IV, because I have NO plans on ever sobering up. ;-)

Par5 says, “If you see it in 'Some People Like These: Office Fanfiction,' it’s so.”
OMFG Brilliant. I love the original letter, and this is just an awesome take on it. Great!

OMFG Moxie, did you do this because you knew I was home sick and needed to laugh my ass off? Because if so, mission accomplished my friend! And if it happens in TWoP, it must be real. You are da bomb, baby!
Author's Response: Sorry you are feeling unwell, Par5! Glad to make you feel alittle better though!! :-)

Ah, yes, a world without a Jim Halpert would indeed be a dreary one, and many tears would be shed over the matter. Thanks the Gods he exists and appears on our television whenever we need him to, and also on Thursday nights.
This made my night. Thank you.
You must question the existance of Jonathan Halpert, now.
