This was an interesting series. The third one - wow. That made me gasp out loud beacuse, honestly, I forgot about the camera crew, too, and when you mentioned them clattering about I was like, "Holy CRAP!" And suddenly I felt really embarrassed for Pam and Jim. And Jim, blocking them so that she could move aside and then convincing them to destroy the tape. Oh, Jim.
The fourth one broke my heart. It was so sad. I'm so very glad it didn't actually happen like that, because it would be so much harder for them to come back from that, you know?
I also really enjoyed the last one because it was interesting -- having you reverse the positions of them in that scene, and I think that the dialogue sounds like them; it sounds like how it might go if the scene had gone in that direction, instead.
You are making me hungry for Jim and Pam. Rawr.

Wow, just wow! So many things were great about this - I love that you built the angst/smut into the story slowly; I love that you revisioned, and resued, the scenes and dialogue in interesting and innovative ways, and I *love* the title of this piece; it perfectly captures the ability to change things and play the game again. Oh yeah, and after the "dress" chapter I had no idea where you would go with this, and I was shocked by how you turned the tables by having Pam admit her love for Jim first.

This was a Totally Hot love scene, thank you very much. Followed by a real punch to the gut. I wanted to slap Pam silly for yanking Jim around like that. What was this, a goodbye fuck? Out of nowhere? Oh, Pam, you evil creature! So humiliating for Jim. So heartbreaking. Oooo!
All of this, of course, is just testament to your excellent writing skills. You really sold me this scene. Lines I loved:
She tastes of chardonnay and something salty. Possibly tears. He can't decide if that makes him happy or sad.
reaching for the zipper of her dress, the downward motion like a caress (the zipper is SUCH an erotic fastener, almost asgood as a tie).
As she leans in for a kiss, their eyes meet. It makes his head spin, to find her expression so unguarded.
Everything is rushing past, a blur of moist and pain and bliss. Wow! [/Jim]]
She smiles sadly and it's the worst possible thing she could have done.
And, of course, the rehash of those few sentences between them is so sad, so different, even, impossibly, even more heartbreaking. *sob*

These were fantastic! Each was so good - 3 and 4 darn near killed me, that Pam could do that to him, have him come so close and then pretend it never happened. The last one was SO wonderful, having her burst out with it instead. Ending happy was the way to go after all the preceding pain! :)

I thought it would be impossible to re-imagine CN in an original way(s)...then this. So many spot-on moments from heartwrenching to joyous. In The Footage, when Jim returns the tape (such a gentleman) and says 'I'm not' when she says she's sorry she kissed him, then in Blue Dress, his desperation for her and his dashed hopes...ah, anguish. Then in All In, when he says '...I thought we could go steady for a while first' it sounded so like him at his happiest. Just the right notes of poignancy, elation, despondency, relief. And, congrats on a very impressive maiden voyage into MA-ville. So glad you took the plunge!

Delicious. All of them. Blue dress was fantastically angstful and dark (now you need to try fluffly sex. It's good for the health). And the kiss in The footage was properly hot and breathless and ohmigod what is she going to do now.
Also loved the reversal of roles in this last one - Pam with a pair is always a fantastic read from you!

Wow, five totally different and unique ways of looking at the now infamous Casino Night. I'm actually sick of reading CN stories, but this was awesome. I never expected any of the scenarios, and the last one made up for the angst in the previous four. Great job!
