That's the great thing about pianos. You hit a note and the note comes out right. The hard part is getting the notes to go together so they don't sound like crap.

Awesome! I love when the minor characters get to shine a little, and Darryl is certainly a fun one that we haven't seen enough back story for. Nice job with this!
Author's Response: Oh, I love backstory too. I'm really happy that you enjoyed this little anecdote.

I *love* Darryl! This was sad and funny and had such a cute ending! One thing, though: the chick in the warehouse is Madge. She even has a MySpace blog!
Author's Response: I really do love Darryl too. Thanks! Oh, and I've actually read all the Office cast members' myspaces. I'm hopelessly addicted. Lonny is actually another guy in the warehouse, who we saw briefly "Boys and Girls."

Author's Response: Glad you liked this! And thank you!

I love Darryl and I love this story! So funny. I myself play clarinet which makes the most god-awful noise when you're learning so I think my mom might have felt the same as Darryl's mother although she never banged a broom on the ceiling! Nice job.
Author's Response: Thanks! Oh, the clarinet. Reed instruments can certainly make some horrible noises when played incorrectly. (Eep. Should have heard me when I started learning the oboe.)

Author's Response: Thanks so much! It's good to see that a fellow musician enjoyed my story.
