no! karen can't have him! first she takes jim and now trying to take jackson (away from me, of course. with guys like that, screw pam!)

what? they aren't real? you mean there isn't a company called dunder mifflin with a boss like michael and a little love triangle of jim, pam, karen (wow, on another mesage board i go to it actually extended into a love hypercube. good times).
Barely started, and just had to say how much I loved this line: "And as the tears well up in Pam’s eyes Karen actually looks away because it’s almost too painful to look at someone whose world has just collapsed"
Oh, and then Pam talking. Breaking my heart!

I don't drink, but I can understand Pam's wanting to get wasted. I really think there are a lot of times where I would just drink and drink if there was any alcohol in my apartment.
God, I just feel horrible for Pam, and I am just like, living these emotions and it hurts me! its probably good that i got a phone call in the middle of this, so i could take a break from all that emotion.
okay, ooh, introducing a new guy into the mix. aww, i love jackson a bit more than i love jim even. and he will probably be jackson to me because, well, because i say so!

I’ll tell you a break-up story that will make your hand stand on end,

I'm pretty sure that phrase is actually "hair stand on end" but maybe this is a new take on it. ;)

And you don't have to sell me on boys from Texas. Love 'em all. Jackson is an interesting new twist on this story. Refreshing to see an outsider enter the claustrophobic mix The Office is becoming. :)

Hmm, not too sure Pam can trust a t-sip, haha! Sorry, that's just the Aggie in me speaking. And yes, Texas boys are second only to JH/JK. I'm very interested to see where this goes! Keep it up!

And if you are a Longhorn, I hope we can put our rivalries aside and be friends. In the name of JAM, lol! =D

Interesting!!!
I was actually ACHING in the first chapter, and this one feels just as painful, but somehow, there's light at the end of the tunnel.
(is this is crossover? because I don't recognize it)
Thanks!
cheers.

Jackson is quite adorable. I have to admit that I died a little inside at the thought of another post-Cocktails story, but this one has won me over, largely because you are not afraid to go with a different angle, but also because you have a lovely, straight-forward writing style. I look forward to more. Any guesses on when?

Just a quick note- Beer is sold only at beer distributors and liquor is sold only in state controlled wine and spirits shops.  You can't buy beer at the liquor store and you can't buy liquor at the beer distributor.  And neither is sold at the grocery store.  It's a stupid law.

HOWEVER, please update this quickly.  I want to know what happens with Jackson!  Do you have a mental image of what he looks like?

Is your goal to make me like Jackson more than I like Jim (at the moment at least)? Because I totally do....can't wait to see what else you do with this fic!

Oh, this is very nice.  Just make sure Jackson doesn't turn into an axe murderer, or I am coming after you.  But... I'm pretty sure you're a lot faster than me, so ... just keep Jackson nice please.

I can definitely see Pam just wanting to never see any of them again.  Isn't that what Jim tried to do, going to Stamford?  (How'd that work for him, by the way?)

Nice job!

Ooof.   That hit me right in the grief bone.  I'm not sure about Pam being so apologetic.   On the one hand, it may be in character, because she is typically pretty concerned about the feelings of others, often to the point of hurting herself....but, on the other hand, she didn't do anything wrong, and hopefully "Don't Call Me Pammy" would know that.....

Very well written, though.   Very angsty.

I just watched the video and HOLY COW!!!! Such a good post-quel to that vid. So, keep it up and let's hope that Jim doenst plan on leaving again. It would be such a smack in the face to all us fans....but I could see this happening. I definately thought that Jim would be harsh to Pam after the fight. I see it going down like that myself. Thanks!

I think Jim would eventually react to Pam saying "I just wanted to get over you..." - at least I hope so.  (And I hope that's how you go with it.)

I was hoping for... "check if there are openings in corporate - for you."  Is that mean? (/Pam)

Anyway, I'll be literally waiting right here for updates.  (Well, I may go and do a few things, but, you know, I'll be here at some point.)

oh my heart is breaking.  But I can't wait to read more!

I think that with the info. we've been given so far this is a really good speculation as to how everything could play out in a few weeks.

I just saw the NBC promo/vid today and it made my stomach hurt.  I think your scenario here is plausible.  I'll definitely keep reading.

OT:  Dying to discuss all this new fanfic and spoiler at TWOP, but it's not working for me.  Anyone know what's up?

Gah! You slay me. So realistic (real world realistic and within the show realistic). This is pretty painful stuff.
