I really hope that you update this soon; it is pretty amazing, a fact I'm sure you already know. There's something brutally honest about it. While I love the stories where one of them reveals their true love and then kisses ensue, this story seems so realistis. Admitting you love somone is like a confession and certainly doesn't always end in happily ever after. Though I hope this story does have a happy ending (meaning Pam and Jim together), congratulations on an incredible set-up. You're a fantastic writer. PLEASE UPDATE SOON!

I have to say that I really like it when authors make Jim and Pam fight. Because I really do think that it's the best way to kind of...cleanse themselves of all that negative angst.
The way that you're handling the story is very realistic. Because the truth is that pride is a HUGE factor in most people's relationships with one another, and pride makes us stupid 100% of the time.
What I'm trying to say is that this is awesome. And I love the fact the title is a Lifehouse song. I always thought that it was appropriate for Jim and Pam's relationship.
Thanks.
cheers.

Whoa -- this is really different take on what happens after Pam's 'big reveal'! And Jim's rationale makes some sort of sense -- in his world, anyway. he’s (almost) sure now, why he hadn’t been happy when she’d told him yesterday. He can’t let the past months have been a waste.
I really like how you are taking us down a different path, not the 'chick-flick' overly romanticized one. Looking forward to more!

Maybe the jumping bones, rainbows and ponies ending starts in the next chapter? I'll keep reading any chapters that come along, and maybe I'll get the happy later.
This chapter is awesome, though. That's one of the best fights ever, I think. It's also fantastic that Roy is at the door, and still (or again) mad! Of course, we all expect Jim at the door, all contrite and I love you-ish! But that wouldn't necessarily fit with how Jim's been since Pam's confession!
You did a wonderful job explaining Jim's actions here. This is just fantastic and angsty and I look forward to more.

ouch ouch ouch. This just makes me wnat to curl up and go cry, it's so good though. The whole thing at the end about chick flicks is so true! What's going to happen? Ah! More please!!

oh my goodness!!! drama!!! i want to say that i can't believe Jim would be this mean to Pam, but after The Negotiation... who knows. anyway, it's great. thanks for keeping me on the edge of my seat.
and i get what Pam's saying with the love and hate at the same time. i'm feeling a little of that for Jim Halpert myself right about now.

Oh, I love the angst you've got going here. Can't wait for the next chapter! And what is Roy going to do???

this is amazing, this exactly the assholish type thing I wish Jim would say to her on the show, they need catharsis either to move on with each other or with other people. I still can't believe that he does say those things and hurt her so much but it's kind of amazing. Please please please please update soon.

Oh noooooo. Not angry, drunken Roy. Dammit. I hope Pam is going to be okay.

oh my god, you CANNOT leave me hanging there. I have to say, this is the best fic i've read on here so far, the BEST! You managed to give us an angry Jim and Pam that were actually believable, and wow, oh so heart-wrenching. Please, PLEASE update this soon!

This is so good! I love the way Pam got between Roy and Jim, even though she ended up getting hit herself. And my heart went "kerflumpf" (not a good thing) when Roy smashed the teapot. But my heart actually broke when Jim didn't say anything in response to Pam's "I love you" and instead bolted from the breakroom when Karen called him. Please don't leave us hanging - I can't wait to see why Jim reacted the way that he did.

No fic has ever made me teary, but when Pam was leaning over the broken shards of her tea pot I had to blink a few times so that I could keep reading. I can't wait for the rest. Great job!

Oh, frick, I think this is absolutely brilliant. Amazing. Wonderful. Just - wow, so good. So good. I can't even wrap my head around it. Or make any sense.
It's the descriptions, and the Pam, even though she's not even being Pam so much anymore, maybe a FNB v2.0, the version that makes sure Roy knows, that Jim knows, that she cries but she doesn't hide, even if she may want to, the version that tells Jim and reacts to things. To everything.
Absolutely lovely. The details were absolutely amazing, and - wow.
And the END. Updating as soon as you can would be a good idea, yeah, because this is genuinely killing me. How can he - how can he do that?! Does he think that's the way she reacted after Casino Night? Does he realise the comparison is so vast it's not even fair? Jim could see, could tell that Pam felt something for him, anything, that she wasn't happy with Roy, but now, Karen's with him, and Karen's nice [not that I always think so, right now, in canon and in this story and most other stories I'd like her to dive off a cliff], and does she think anything will come out of it? Is it even half the same if they aren't friends, if she absolutely no inkling about her feelings for her [in fact I'm pretty sure she's sure he really, really dislikes her], and just...
Wow. I want to throttle him, shake him and shake him and smack his forehead for him because this is not fair. This is not fair.
Oh, gods, I'm sorry, I don't usually go off on tangents like this, but the - wow. So painful. I feel awful for Pam, I really do. I know she made mistakes, too, but I've been unbelievably mad at Jim at a lot of points during this season and, well, we have seen Pam cry.
I really love this! Seriously, updating as soon as you can, because otherwise you'll have me thinking of this for the rest of the day. ;)

This was great, way to go PAM! I was so happy that she stood up to Roy and it was completely unexpected that he hit her. I think I may have gasped when he broke the teapot. Awesome. Hope you update soon, I'll be waiting.....

That was fantastic!!! I'm so thoroughly addicted already! I can't wait to see where you go with this (at least I hope it wasn't a one parter--there's no little 'Yes' next to 'Completed' so I can only hope that that means you plan to continue....)
The emotions and detail you put into this were really amazing--it was heartbreaking, but oh so good---please continue!!

Oh, wow! I need more of this
I started crying as soon as Roy broke the teapot. That was a great idea. And I loved the return of Booze Cruise Micheal.
