OMG, those card meanings are fantastic!

Here's a little giftie for you: http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y254/lisahoo/office/queen-pam.jpg

Author's Response:

haha - that's a little bit scary, actually!  :D

Thanks!

It doesn't really matter if she is telling the truth or not... It is quite an unbelievable way of flirting.  Go Pam!  They're going on a date!  That possibility gets me more excited than it probably should...

Author's Response: What's really sad is that I was wondering going on a date seemed too improbable, given how this year has gone.  I had to take a leap of faith that it would be believable!!  I hope this season saves itsself in the final 2 episodes...

I love this idea! That Pam makes gestures to show Jim that he matters...hope the end will have a positive response from him. I'm sure it will, because how could he resist?

Author's Response:

Exactly - how could he resist?  He's making me just as nuts as Pam is sometimes!

Thanks for the review!

I shed a tear for this chapter. pam, please please please get it together and do something like this for jim? the poor boy's too dense to get the fact that you love him...

Author's Response:

After last night's stunning display of speaking her mind, I think Pam might actually find some more of that courage - here's hoping, right??

Thanks for the review!

OK, this is just what I needed tonight.  The 6-month anniversary & Karen's panties and made me die a little inside.  And they were ugly too.  So sweet, sweet Pam making a grand gesture to remember Jim's grammy was the perfect antidote.

Pam = grammy's lemonade, double stuf oreos, polka-dotted sundress

Karen = Call of Duty, "take me on a trip", ugly lime green slutty undies

No contest.

Author's Response:

Yeah, the color choices had to mean something.  I mean, who finds pistachio green underwear sexy??  But that plush red/fuschia robe?  I'll take door #2, bob!!

And I hate to break it to miss thing, but the only trip she's going on is to the dumpster.

Do I sound bitter? I feel like I sound bitter.....

The grandmother storyline is really touching and well done.  Nice work!

Author's Response: Thank you!  I felt I walked that very fine line between touching and sappy - glad you liked it!

Wait... Karen didn't follow Jim into the men's room?  The girl's losing her edge.  Seriously, though, this is really cool.  I like how the tone of the gift changes so abruptly in Jim's head.  Keep it coming!

Author's Response: Thanks, Night Swept.  Yeah, Karen's a bit of a downer these days....

You know I love it.  So sweet - but not too sugary.  Of course Pam would know (and remember) how important something like this would be to him.

Take that Karen.   :)

Author's Response:

Take that Karen.   :)

Indeed.  In the form of a fast moving city bus.

Thanks for all the help with this!!!

Simply Beautiful!  I teared a bit.  No outlandish gestures.  No sweeping proclomations.  Just the two of them.  Loving, sharing and opening just a bit to each other.  Love it, Moxie!

Author's Response: Thanks!  I'm going to keep writing every possible combination of them getting together until GD picks one he likes and uses it!!!

Aww.  I wonder if Pam would hesitate about writing "Love, Pam".  I wonder if Jim would realize she means it.  Hmmm.  (Not that I ponder these things like they're real people.  Because I know they are.   I mean, aren't, aren't!  Dammit!)

This is lovely.  Pass some fluff this way anytime.  Or smut.  Or even angst.  I'm not a complainer.

Author's Response:

I have no doubt she paused for a considerable moment before signing it "Love".  But nothing ventured, nothing gained, right?!

Thanks for the review!

cute!

Do you know how excited I was when I got an email saying that new story had been posted?! Thanks for turning me into a nutcase! lol

Author's Response:

No way - you can't pin that on me!!!

But I'm glad you liked this first chapter!  :-)

Hmmm...the book goes in the desk when he thinks it's from Karen and in the messenger bag when he knows it's from Pam.  I'm just saying.  Let's hope the good times can start rolling like this on the show :)

Author's Response: You are soooo very observant!!!  :-)  And I really hope we get even an inkling of hope tonight!!!!!

Gorgeous! Of course, I also have a story archived here with the title "Surprise" and I couldn't figure out why it was being re-recced. HA!  I love this. And of course Pam loves every bit of him. Beautiful.

Author's Response:

Whoops! Perhaps I'll alter the title slightly.  Not that I would mind being confused with your stuff! You know you're one of my favs!

Scene 2 is coming soon.....thanks for reviewing!

Sheesh. Will Karen stop with that vacation stuff already? And Pam unsettling him - Yay! Damn straight she appreciates ALL of him (unlike some tater chip devotees I know.) And I have to say, Moxie, that you never cease to amaze me with your ability to keep writing constantly. You are miraculously productive...are you actually two people? I'm starting to wonder.

Author's Response: ha. I am productive here at the cost of the rest of my life.  But it makes me happy, so it's hard to stop!  Thanks for all the support, sweetie!! (Still waiting on that 2008 picnic!)

Excellent use of a book I haven't ever read myself.  ;)

As I said, Jim feeling all shaky is a very good thing. :)

Author's Response:

I hope he gets a good case of the shakes before the end of this season!!!!

Thanks for encouraging my insanity! You're the best!! :-)

Oh, bless the fluff.  I really don't know where I would be without it during these tremulous times in JAM land.  I can't wait to read about the rest of the items!

Author's Response: Thanks for the review - I am trying my hardest to churn out the fluff to soothe my soul as well!  Happy Office Thursday!!
