This is my favorite part, I think this is the whole crux of why Pam reacted the way she did to that kiss. Well done.

It's just gorgeous! I'm sure I've said this before but I am in LOVE with your stories! Fluffy but not at all mushy. GORGEOUS!

aww! i love this SO much. i really love the comparison to Roy at the beginning, and his desire to settle things and not let it be between them. then when Pam threatens to beat up Karen i almost DIED laughing! so great. i also love how you had them address the fact that their banter is just them. and that it's wonderful. you write it very well! great chapter!!!

Ok this chapter was AMAZING!!!  I loved the up and down emotions and you had my heart in my throat and then I was laughing seconds later....really really great writing 

And while there were a ton of favorite lines to choose from I think this one just topped them all

Ya know, the first lines of this reminded me of something that happened on a vacation with the family recently. So, I was really pissed at something my brother did. I can't for the life of me remember. But, I was like, basically, angry at him, and angry at my mom for not doing anything about him. And so, we were at the hotel, and our room had a balcony. So I went out there to fume and think... it was the one place where I could be alone. But then my mom went and ruined it, because she kept going out there to check on me, and saying stupid stuff like, "oh, avoiding the issue, yeah that will help" and it just angered me more, and so I went to bed angrier than I was when I started. Its like, sometimes you just need a moment alone, and yeah, so odd but that was what I thought of when I was reading that experience. You need a moment alone, but the other person involved has to know when not to interrupt, and when its okay. Its like, if my mom had waited like 10 more minutes, I would have gone back in and been the worlds best daughter. but instead, she ruined the night and the next morning. (ooh, place all the blame on her!)
But then again, that was also a different type of argument than the one they have. What is oddly, such a romantic scene in my head is the one where you are like so angry, but then the other person comes over, and its like, you just feel so safe in their arms that you start to cry. I dunno. it sounds odd even as I am typing this. okay, so here is the deal, it is late at night and i woke up early, so if this is just the worlds strangest review... um, blame it on that. and hoepfully you will get enjoyment out of my ramblings.

Oh, and the idea of Pam in a hoodie... totally brings up a girlcrush moment :) (what I like jim/pam in casual clothes)

There hands were mere centimeters apart against the cupboard and she wrapped hers around his.
The only thing I think with this line is I think you meant Their hands...? or is it my slep deprived brain that is reading it weird.

Seriously, loved it. loved loved loved loved. And since I didn't quote anything, just assume I would quote the entire thing. And then imagine me saying amazing deep thoughtful stuff about the entire chapter... because suddenly during this chapter, that whole sleep deprived thing caught up with me, and i am thinking it may be time to turn off the lights and go to sleep.

Yeah, I think my pure happiness over those two is giving me a tipsy feeling... sad? yeah probably.

"his voice taking on that gravely tone that made her want to just grab him sometimes."
Oh yeah, I know that tone... in fact I may have to go listen to a few quotes and whatsthescuttlebutt just to hear it.... Jim is just so amazing.

Okay, so I am going to try not to quote every line, but its so sad, because, as I said above, those two happy - seriously insane. So much that reading about them happy brings tears to my eyes. This is when I start to realize I need a real life. One that exists outside my tv and computer.

"You know how you've got in your mind like the perfect thing that you want to say...but when you try and put it into words you just know it's gonna come out like Charlie Brown's teacher is saying it?...And you also know that as soon as the person leaves you're gonna know exactly how to say it. You'll actually say it to yourself like a crazy person, just to prove that you can do it."
YES! I hate that feeling cause it so always happens. Its like the worst, most evil thing in the world! Its like, worse than... everything!

(see, its now quoting like every 3rd line, not every other line!)

"Pam was the kind of girl who would prank someone and then afterwards when her conscience kicked in, would let them know that she'd brewed their favorite flavor of coffee in the break room."
That is so sweet, a nice little character trait for Pam. It is just so perfect.

Okay, so if it wasn't obvious, I loved every single letter and punctuation mark of this chapter. I can't even say anything else besides that.

The only thing I am curious about (is maybe because I am a bit dense?) - what is BHC?

The hardest part of writing JAM is banter and frankly you have it down...completely... And the last line made me grin... :-D
