Sorry, the idea of throwing lawyers was just too funny not to comment on it. I had the idea of a weird bean bag toss... with a giant pumpkin, but I am not sure there that part of the image came in.

That imagine.... gah!!! it is everything... everything amazing and such!

And their banter (ooh, I love using that word), is just so dead on. Its like, great.

The imagry in this is just amazing. Its like, I was just realizing that when i read ... well, when I used to read (I mean years and years ago), I really used to see it. But, I guess so often now, I don't read things with such great imagry, that its more, the words are a picture, and I don't really see pictures, I see words, and hopefully this is making sense, but this is just, i totally can SEE this... and this is one of the first fanfics that I can actually SEE... yeah, so really hope this makes sense, because, either that or I sound like a weird fool.

So, when I was in like, I dunno, 9th/10th grade time frame, me and my friend Liz had this weird thing that Leo (from Charmed) and Max (Roswell), if you could get them and the feeling they gave you in pill form it would be the cureall (panacea?). And so, what she did, is for my birthday, she got two pill bottles, and filled them with two types of jelly bellies (white for Leo and green for Max), and printed out fake labels, saying happy pills. And thinking of this, I think I need one for Jim and for JAM now, because those two make me so insanely happy.

Ya know that line from Office Olympics, where Jim is like, medals, give him medals, something like that I believe when he is talking about Kevin and his MnMs, yeah, thats what I say to this story.

And even though it was angstyy, it was so them, and its so realistic, but I am also glad that I get to click next and hopefully get some more fluff.

When you dabble in angst you do it brilliantly.  (And it's nice to have the comfort that this is you writing and things will be okay in the end).  It's so interesting to think about them confronting and processing the past and it's very realistic to depict it not being easy.  I really think it will be hard for Jim to ever truly understand where Pam was on casino night; he just has no template to comprehend what it would have been like for her.

second, gah the angst! no, it's good though. i really don't see them just being happy and carefree, for a little while at least. they have a LOT of crap to get through and you've written it really well. it's kind of frustrating that he's still mad at her after the giant jerk that he's been to her, but i guess i can see both sides of the story. great chapter. the chapter titles are also fun. :) 

side note: i'm glad you like my screenname... drug testing is definately in my top 5 fav. episodes. when he says "hi." i swoon every time! :)  

This is a great post-The Job Jim and Pam heart-to-heart! Very realistic, very true to the characters, and addressing all of their issues. The angst is inevitable, but I notice that Pam ran INTO Jim's apartment, so I know it will into be temporary. : ) Keep up the good work!
