Ooh what an interesting interpretation! I haven't seen anyone else do this particular twist yet. I like that Pam thought the invite was because of bad news. And the conversation with Jim straightening that out was very lovely. Very realistic that they're going to have to deal with some baggage.

Ohhh...I like that Pam wasn't quite sure of the meaning (mostly because I haven't read another first date story that had that side). I love Jim coming back in and explaining. And that he wanted to get more gold medals is absolutely adorable.

Hands down the best JAM first date I've read! So simple, funny and sweet....up until the whole Pam crying in the bathroom thing, but angst is always good too. I'm going to read chapter 3 right now, I just had to stop and gush about how adorable this chapter was!
