This chap was fantastic, VB--so powerful. What an awful feeling to have such a strong disagreement with someone and then have something terrible happen to them before you come to your senses. I could especially relate to your description of Jim's mother's appearance before and after her accident. Totally heartbreaking. I really can't wait for more of this!

Poor Larissa. Nothing worse than a neat, tidy person stuck in a hospital--never the most dignified of circumstances.
Love Jim's dad's brutal questions, and especially his not wanting to hear the answers. Jim's got a lot to think about.

Hello there! I'm FINALLY able to leave a review for this story! I am enjoying this tale so much. It is heart-breaking and hopeful at the same time. I smiled when I saw the names of Jim's playlists. BZ Intro and BZ. How clever! I also found the description of Jim's fight with his had to be interesting too. I'm glad Mr. Halpert set him straight, and I hope they get their reconciliation. I can't wait to meet Larissa Halpert! Keep up the great work!

Oh, god. This is another fanfic that was intimidating me with 26 chapters, and even though I get sucked into so many, I'm always like, "Oh, geez, so many chapters, I'm going to get stiff reading all these in one sitting..."
But I'm glued! Of course, which just kills me. These chapters went by in a breeze, I was so caught up that I didn't even notice that I was on chapter twenty-something and I got bummed out because I was reaching the end. You need to update this soooon. Now. Go.
Oh, and as someone in the health care field, I love the medical terminology here and there. Sometimes it's a little heavy, but I enjoy the story a lot. Again, update now! =)

Thanks for letting yourself get glued to my story! Yeah, there are a lot of chapters but they are mostly pretty little ones. I'm working on the next chapter and have sprinklings of future ones written. (Over the past few months, I outlined and wrote the scenes that came to me and screamed to be written NOW.)
Glad you like the medical terminology, too. I know it was heavy at first but I was trying to convey how overwhelming and confusing it is when a family is suddenly thrust into that critical care situation. From the feedback I'm getting, I think I accomplished that. There will still definitely be medical related scenes in the story – we are in a hospital, after all – but they won't be quite so intensively jargon-heavy.
