"Not tense exactly.  But…your hair does seem I don't know.  Happier…"

"So by more often do you mean like every day starting tomorrow?"

I loved your Jim in this. Pam's hair seeming "happier" was so cute. And Jim telling Pam about observing the "wedding hair" conversation was so moving.

Author's Response: Hey kaystar!   I'm such a delinquent in the review respond department.   Just wanted to say thanks!  I'm so glad you liked it!!

Nice. I especially like: "I didn't mean for this to become a thing…" and the part where he was talking about her discussion with Kelly.

Speaking of Kelly, if you hadn't mentioned America's Next Top Model in the notes, I wouldn't have know what "ANTM Anonymous" referred to. Would Jim know what ANTM refers to? Do ANTM fans actually use the letters when speaking aloud about the show? (You can tell how familiar I am with the show.)

I like this sentence "It seems that every time she thinks they've moved far beyond last year there's something else that comes up." So many people seem to assume everything's really easy, and some of the scenes in the show even make everything seem easier and more talked out than I think it would be, for example, the "is the magic gone" scene, the "we should have started dating years ago" scene, and the deleted scene where Pam's teasing Jim about Karen "because you love her?" in the baby voice. I much prefer something that shows there's still difficulty. They went through a lot last year, and those hurts and aches don't just go away with one kiss or one talk.

Hooray for stomping out writer's block. :)

Author's Response:

Thank you TLK!   RE: ANTM - I do.  It's a mouthful (twss) otherwise and they have on occassion used the abbreviation on the show as well.  So...yeah I understand it's not the best example - but I also bet you Kelly ADORES ANTM and I can imagine Pam being hooked even though you'd think it wasn't her thing.  Guilty pleasure and all that.

I agree.  They've glossed over a ton in S4.  I don't think it would happen so easily.

And they say fanfic is full of unrealistic scenarios. :)

Thank you.  Writers block sucks - but reviews like yours are worth it when you finally break through.  :)

::sigh:: I love this. I can totally see it happening this way. I love that Jim was so definite about how he liked her hair, but also made it clear that he just loved her any way she wanted to be...loved it.

Author's Response: ::sigh:: back at ya. ;) That Jim.  They don't make them like that much anymore.  :)  Glad you liked it.  Thank you so much for the review!

I love how you wove in their continued uncertainly and tip-toeing.  It really is going to take some time for them to work through everything.  But this was a lovely example of how they can get it done!

Author's Response: Yeah I don't think it's all fine and dandy - but I loved the idea of even though it might be tough, they'd be able to work through it.  I'm so glad you liked it!!

Very cute. I loved the banter. You always get their voices just right. Thanks for responding to my challenge! :o)

Author's Response: You're very welcome.  :)  I was so happy to have a challenge to answer that wasn't something completely obvious or overdone.  So thank you for suggesting it!!

Oooh. Fluff and banter and fingers in hair and honesty and progress and affection and progress. You capture just about everything I love in fic and you do it so flawlessly. I'm so pleased that you're writing again!

Author's Response:

Hee!  Thank you Lis.  I'm not quite back in the groove I don't think - but I'm getting there.

Thanks so much, as always, for your thoughtful review.

Hey, you're not the only one who's happy that you're writing again! :)

This was just the sugar rush I needed this morning to start my day off right. Seriously, they could pour this story into a bowl, and set it on the table with some neatly arranged pieces of toast and a glass of OJ, and it'd be part of this complete breakfast!

(Note to self: don't review before breakfast... :P)

Anyway, this was great. I laughed the loudest at the "debate team" exchange. That sounded SO them.

Also, my wife totally owns her ANTM addiction. I've learned to accept it, much like I've learned that she will always squeeze the toothpaste from the middle and there's nothing I can say that will change that. Also, Tyra Banks is the harbinger of the apocalypse.

Author's Response:

Sugar rushes are my specialty.  I tried to have OJ this morning - but I couldn't get the top off the container.  So weird...so I had chocolate milk instead.

I know.  Just what you wanted to learn from my response to your review - right?   LOL!

Anyway - I am so glad you liked it and tell Mrs. Mose she's a woman right after my own heart.

And PS:  You don't watch ANTM BECAUSE of Tyra - you watch it IN SPITE of her. ;)   As for me - I'm a big Mr. Jay fan myself.   And Nigel - 'cause he's dreamy.

And I'll stop now - because you probably deal with that at home - and don't want to have to here. :)

I'll start to change…if you'll change back.

What a perfectly lovely and poignant 8 words that pretty much sum it all up, xoxoxo.  Loved the debate team exchange and that Pam got a little testy with him, too.  This all feels very natural and flows like a real conversation between them would.  YAY for you and everyone else for unblockage!  This was great.

Author's Response: Always my intention to make them sound as true to the show as possible.  Sometimes I'm not sure if it's me or Pam talking - but I think I'm able to channel her when it counts.   So glad you enjoyed it!!

Well, the famine is over and now we feast.  This was adorable, love the little bits of awkwardnes and shadows of the past making themselves felt, but no much as to really cut them down.  "I'll start to change if you'll change back"...awesome.

While I won't admit to an addiction, it is possible that my TV might have landed on ANTM at times last night.

So great to have you back!

Author's Response:

I'd order some appetizers - 'cause I can't tell you how long it'll be before the next course but thank you.  That was exactly the vibe I was going for - so I'm glad it came across.

Uh huh.  Likely story.  Your TV just "landed" on ANTM at times last night.  Completely of it's own volition I'm sure.

You don't fool me. ;)

Thank you.  It's good to be (sorta) back. :)

Ah, so cute!  I loved Pam's talking head about this (hence the username), and I think this is my favorite interpretation  of the hypocrite conversation so far. :)

Author's Response:

Thanks thirty!!  Pam's so cute in that talking head and I'm not gonna lie - I just like the idea of them wrestling on the couch. I'm very glad you liked it. :)

Pam isn't the only one who's unpredictable these days, Miss Formerly Blocked.

Great banter, sweet idea, delicious Jim...well worth the calories ;-) (Ken Paves...someone's been reading US Mag. online at the grocery store, lol.)

Author's Response:

Don't speak so soon there missy.   I'm just trying to keep some momentum.  And sister - I might want to have a lot in common with Pam (for obvious reasons) but Ms. Kapoor and me?   We might just speak the same language. ;)

Absolutely loved this, xoxoxo.  So sweet and true--you really captured their voices.  Far more satisfying than a 100 cal pac : )

Author's Response: Yeah those suckers are gone the minute you open them. :)   Thanks so much NanReg.  I'm so glad you like it.
