This was one of the best (and quite possibly first) fics I have read devoted to the Toby/Michael relationship (meaning it gets more than just a mention)... so it gets awards for that.
And that is all it needs. It is such a wonderful little slice of life between those two.

Poor Toby, and poor Kevin for overhearing what Michael said about him. And Michael's explanation about his dinners being a corporate expense was delightful!

Toby is the most mistreated person in that office and it's all at Michael's hand, whcih is sad and funny at the same time.
I totally ripped that corporate expense idea from the episode "The Secret"...that's one of my favorite Michael/Toby moments. I'm glad you like the fic! :D

The inner workings of Michael's mind are frightening...and he would totally justify it that way. In fact, I think that's the tamest way he would justify it in his mind.
