A Wonderful Life is one of my favorites as well...and the end ALWAYS makes me cry no matter how many times I watch it. Seriously, I am that much of a sap.
A life without Jim? Oh no. My worst nightmare. :) I'm really looking forward to reading this, it's a nice little Christmas present. You have a great set up, poor Jim is in a bad place right now, just like George. I can't wait to see who your Clarence is and how he turns him around. Exciting!

This is beyond awesome. It's a Wonderful Life is my favorite Christmas movie, and I've often thought if they ever remade it that JK would be the best man for the Jimmy Stewart role.
Now you're giving us Halpert in that role? Brilliant. I can't wait for the next chapter.

Ooh! I love that movie, too, and I am absolutely thrilled to see where you take this story. Jim was seriously depressed when he left Scranton- it is the perfect scenario for this plot. Just, yay! And beyond the set-up, you have a few really nice lines in this chapter that set the tone. Keep it up!
