You have such a fluent writing style. I hope you feel inspired enough to continue.

Author's Response: Thank you Pisa! I appreciate that. :) If anything else comes to me, you guys will be the first to know. :)

I love this. I think you captured their personalities wonderfully, and it just makes me smile. =)

Author's Response: Glad I could make you smile. Thanks BigTuna! I appreciate the review. :)

So, so sweet. This is the portrait of how two people find love in all the little things. Your voices are great. Yay!

Author's Response: Thanks nqllisi! I appreciate it. :)

I'm so glad you picked up this challenge, callisto. This was fun to read. And so true to life. You establish a great balance between real-life annoyances, yet there's always that undercurrent of love and happiness there. I love these little peeks at what everyday life might be like for Jim and Pam now that they're together and happy. Plus, it's just great to see you writing again. Here's hoping your inspiration continues (whether it means more of this or something else)!

Author's Response: Hi Blanca! Good to hear from you! I'm glad you liked it. It's the weird little things that we really grow to appreciate about each other, isn't it? (Or find annoying. Or both.) It was fun to write, too!

This was delightful!  I really felt for Pam with the revolving door - I just hate them! We recently went to a restaurant that has one and Mr. Kaystar actually got in the same door section with me. Talk about quirky! Or weird. Not sure which.

Author's Response: Thanks kaystar! I hate revolving doors too. I'm happy to see so many people are relating to that :) Glad you liked it! Thanks for the review.

That was just adorable, especially the way he laughs off the quirks that would annoy him in another person.

I would definately be interested in a continuation if the mood strikes.

Author's Response: Thanks pigeon! Glad you liked it. I think it would take a lot for Jim to truly be bothered by pretty much any of Pam's faults, but that's because he's perfect. And fictional. We'll see what weird qualities of his I can come up with. I already have a few ideas. :) Thanks for the review!

What a nice follow up to the revelations in "Chair Model".  Can't wait to see what you come up with for Jim.  Think he leaves the toilet seat up? ;)

Author's Response: Probably, but all men do, right? (Or am I just scarred from growing up with four brothers?) I have some ideas. We'll see how it turns out, and if Pam can love him for all his quirks, too. Thanks for the review! :)

I am just like Pam sometimes.

This was one of the best stories I've ever read. I really liked this one. I like that Jim was annoyed with Pam's messiness, but he eventually saw how that was just a part of her. So cute. So sweet.

Author's Response: Wow, thanks. That's a really nice thing to say. I'm glad you liked it! Thank you so much for reading and reviewing. :)

Very very cute, but touching as well.

(It reminded me a bit of that scene in Good Will Hunting when Robin Williams' character tells Matt Damon's character about how much he loved that his deceased wife farted in her sleep. I loved that scene. *honk sniff*)

I'd love to hear about Jim's idiosyncracies as well. Hint hint.

Author's Response: Hey, I hadn't thought of that, but it's a good parallel, jazzfan. :) Glad you liked it! I have some ideas about Jim, but nothing written. Let's see how much homework I can evade over the next week, maybe I'll have something. Thanks for the review! :)

This is all kinds of sweet - and I like how you used a simple anecdote to illustrate each one. (My fave line: 'I still have bowls' ha!)

And, like Pam, I am a firm believer in clean dirt vs. dirty dirt. Like her, I also think Jim should take something off ;-) Would love to read his quirks too - if the mood strikes.

Author's Response: Yes, exactly--'messy' and 'dirty' are NOT the same thing. Glad that made sense. I like to think that even the things that drive us crazy are what make us love the people in our lives...maybe I'm deranged, but I can see Jim feeling that way, in any case. Oh, and I'd certainly love to see him strip off his dirty jeans... but wouldn't we all. ;) Thanks for the review Colette! Always a pleasure to hear from you.

Oh COME ONE. You cannot hint at a chapter about Pam discovering Jim's quirks and then be all "oh maybe," that is soooo naughtyyyy. I hope you do it *gets on knees and begs*

Okay so omg love love loved this story. I was so hoping someone would write something for that challenge, so YAY you =) I have to say, I'm obviously a perv because when I was reading and came across this "and waxed his..." < I was like WOAH, and then I saw the word floor and fell so dirty for even thinking it lol.

Anyway, god I loved all her little quirks and how he discovered them and how he loved her for them even more. I'd talk about each one but my review would never end.

P.S the coat so happened to you right? *pets you* hehe

WRITE MORE NOOOOW :)

Author's Response: Well, I really just wanted a 'disclaimer' in case I decided to add to it. I really don't have anything written about Jim. But...I probably will. :) I'm glad you liked it...though I'm a little concerned about what you thought she might be waxing... :D Thanks for the review! I appreciate it.

I'm gonna guess the revolving door bruise is the true story here. :) Personally, I tickled that your Pam has two of my quirks: the early alarm and the TV volume. Both of which annoy my roommates to no end.

I loved this cute, fluffy piece! But I think it's lonely as a one shot. Yep, definitely needs a companion chapter. It's only fair. :)

Author's Response: Nope. I just have an irrational hatred of revolving doors, so it seemed like a good potential mishap. :) Glad you liked it! I'll probably add to it when I get some time. Thanks for the review!

"Mmm. Big spot," she agreed, eyes twinkling. "You should probably take these off now, so I can...treat it properly."

Pam FTW!  Oh I loved this -- a lot.  You've built on some of the things we heard Jim say about his lovely messy, too loud TV watching, Pam last season.  Thanks so much for a completely plausible elaboration on Pam's quirks.

The affection that Jim has for her in spite of and because of her little quirks, is so apparent here. Good work!

Author's Response: Plausible--that's a word I love. Thank you! :) And for the rec on the boards. You're too kind. I'm glad you liked it; I think one of the best parts of being with someone is how even their quirks become something you love. Or at least tolerate. Thanks for reading and reviewing!

I love this, callisto!  It's adorable!  Great abrupt opening.  I like the tone throughout.  So affectionate, even as Jim recognizes all these foibles he never knew Pam had.  Nicely done!

Author's Response: Thanks VB! Just kind of came to me all at once the other night, starting with that abrupt opening line. I think that even that stuff that annoys the bejeezus out of Jim would end up being things he could laugh about. (Let's hope.) Glad you like it!

I can't stand slobs. I'm all about organization. Just reading about disorganized mess makes freaks me out. I'm like all tense. Must go clean and organize.

Although I am bad about spilling. Actually, I'm bad at drinking. It always seems to wind up on my shirt.

I love all of Pam's little quirks. They are cute.

Come on, you have to do a chapter on Jim's. Maybe it will make me love him less. If you talk about him being a slob to, it will. You'd be doing all normal guys a favor!

Or... something.

Author's Response: Sorry to make you tense Emily! I wish I could say I wasn't a messy person, but I am, kind of. It's funny though--I still know where everything is. And I spill. And I'm a klutz. I can relate to all of Pam's quirks, actually. :D I'll see what I can do for Jim. I'll have to think about it. Thanks for reading and reviewing :)

Ooh, so excited to see one of my favorite authors take on this challenge! Great job and I do hope there might be more in the future ;)

Author's Response: JennInTheCity, thank you! It's a fun challenge idea. This just came to me all at once last night, I'm glad you like it. I'll see what I can do about Jim. :)

This was so sweet and funny. I had to laugh about the revolving door because I'm such a klutz that when I see one I actually get nervous!

And for some reason, my husband finds it as endearing as Jim does:) Gotta love that in a man, right?

Great story!

Author's Response: Definitely gotta love that in a man! I hate revolving doors. I'm glad I'm not the only one! Thank you for reading and reviewing. Glad you liked it! :)

Loved this sweet little slice of JAM! I especially loved your explanation for why she leaves the TV so loud.

Also, I'm someone who is constantly running into doorknobs, stubbing my toes, and banging my knees on tables.

I vote you write a continuation and we get to see Jim's quirks!

Author's Response: Thanks WhatAWaste! I appreciate your rec on the boards. And I have some of those klutzy qualities too. :) About Jim... we'll see what comes to me. Thanks for reading!

Pam getting stuck in the revolving door made me snort.  That may or may not have happened to me at some point.  This is a cute and fun look into Pam's little quirks. I'm sure Jim has had the chance to discover many more by this point.

This is great and fun.  Thank you so much for sharing.

Author's Response: You know, I have never had an actual incident with a revolving door, but just the sight of them makes me nervous. They look like an accident waiting to happen. I'm glad you liked it WalkInLove! Thanks for reading and reviewing. :)

That was just awesome. Wow. I loved every word of it.

And I'd love hearing about Jim's quirks. Hint. Hint! HINT!!!! :)

Author's Response: Thanks stjoespirit! What a nice thing to say. I have to think of some quirks for Jim. Let me think about all my goofy dorky guy friends and see what comes to mind. :)

This is perfectly sweet - a lovely Sunday treat.  I would love to read about Jim's quirks should the mood strike you. Just saying. :)

Author's Response: Glad you liked it xoxoxo. I'd like to do something with Jim, but I didn't start anything and I really have to finish this paper! Egad! I'm gonna keep it in the back of my mind though. Maybe something will come to me. ;)

I completely understand that messy but clean thing.  Stuff all over the place is an unfortunate fact of life in my house, but the floor gets mopped at least twice a week.

Love is finding out all the goofy little things about the other person -- and hopefully you can laugh about them together.

Author's Response: I have to say, messy" is distinctly different from "dirty." (Especially for those with kids like you lisa! I was babysitting twins last night and...suffice it to say, wow.) Glad you know what I meant by that. :) Thanks for reading!

Callisto, I'm so thrilled to have a new story from you and on a Sunday night, no less--when it is particularly appreciated.  Rather than going epic on you, I will simply say that this was delightful.  I hope you're inspired to continue.

P.S.  Stuck in a revolving door, eh?  I'm laughing with "Pam," not at her ; )

Author's Response: Why, thank you Nan. Always happy to please. And, we'll see. :) I didn't really start anything for Jim, but it will probably be in the back of my head now. Really though, I have a paper to write! I feel guilty for even indulging in this last night. As for Pam... let's just say I can relate to some of her mishaps. ;)
