Oh yay!!! My favourite part:

“Really? Um…shouldn’t I be teaching her that?”

“Whoa! And Beesly’s back in the game ladies and gentlemen,” Jim said laughing.

Well done, baby genius.

Author's Response: haha! it was nice to get a funny moment dashed in there. A little banter after all the crying! Thanks for the compliment!!!

This is my favourite series on the entire site. :)

Author's Response: Awww!!!!!!!!!! How sweet of you to say that. Thank you so much. Such an awesome thing to say. Thanks!

This is SUCH a great series...I was so happy to see it updated. It manages to be incredibly sweet without being soupy and the dialogue is them to a T. And you do realize you've created a bit of a cliffhanger? She'll be back later, the 6-week, ahem, waiting period is over, Jim is especially irresistable...just saying. Seriously, wherever you go next, I'll be here to read it.

Author's Response: haha...you and firework are on the same page here!!! Jim thanks you for that, I'm sure. :-) We'll see...not sure I'm up to it, but you all are FREE to imagine it in your minds! I encourage that. lol

Okay, so as absolutely amazing as this was, you're GOING to have to write his return. Just because we need the smex. ;D

Author's Response: haha...I don't know. I think I'll leave the "smex" did you call it, haha - up to the experts. Thanks so much for the feedback! I can always count on you!

You should totally continue this. You have a way with writing Jim as a dad. It made me tear up and laugh! I dont think that has ever happened on this site before. So, please continue! You're fantastic and I hope to see another chapter very very soon. Thanks!

Author's Response: WOW...what an awesome compliment. Thanks so much!!! There should be a new installment coming out soon.

That was very realistic.  Sounds like me after both of mine were born, great job!

Author's Response: haha! GOOD! I love it when there's feedback from a mom like this! Glad I'm not totally out in left field. :-)

I was just thinking how much I would enjoy another LoveFool original on MTT tonight, and I got my wish granted! Another lovely piece. Exactly what I needed after a busy weekend.

As always, the Halpert family was so in character and lovely.

Keep it up.

Author's Response: Glad I could grant your wish! I must have picked up on it somehow! :-) Thanks for the feedback, I should have a new installment soon.

Dancing Jim did the trick for females the world over

Yes, it does do the trick for females all over the world. And hopefully *crosses fingers* we will get some of that action this week ;)

Another amazing addition to your lovely story!

Author's Response: Oh man FROM YOUR LIPS!!! I sure hope we get to see Jim dance a little. Whether he's good or bad at it, either way will still make me smile. I can't wait for this week's episode! Thanks so much for the feedback!

i so can relate to the feeling of the baby just crying and crying. and i am just a babysitting. i remember one night where i just could not move for like 3 hours straight, because every time i did the kid started crying. it was a long night.

as my neighbor says: they are paying me to take birth control

yet for some reason, knowing this i still want kids. i think i should have my head examined.

Author's Response: Yeah I have no idea what that's about. You see kids in the store being total brats too, yet still...you want them. God works in mysterious ways. lol. Thanks for the feedback.

why is it that every chapter of this is just better than the last?
i love that you're exploring Pam's post-partum anxiety and that things are generally not rose-colored.
Thanks so much.
cheers.

Author's Response: Oh thank you so much! That's so kind of you to say. I'm always a little afraid when I send out anything that's kind of "angsty" just because it's not usually what I do. So glad you enjoyed it so much!

Ooh, this was wonderful. It was a very realistic fight, and nicely handled, nicely resolved. I loved Michael's way of stepping in with advice.

Author's Response: Man when Michael has to give you advice - and it's actually good - that's when you know you've got some issues. hehehe, thanks so much for the feedback!

I loved this - because as much as I like to pretend - Jim is far from perfect.  This made my tummy hurt in parts - but in the best of ways.  I think Jim needs to do something extra sweet to get back into Pam's good graces.  You know - if you feel like showing us. :)

Author's Response: hehehe...good call. I'll work on that! I think I'll leave the real "getting back into good graces" stuff to the experts, but I'll defintely work on an update soon!

Yes, it was very angsty, which i totally wasnt expecting for this series, but i still loved it. you actually made me angry at jim! (i'm shocked too!) but i like that he's still not perfect. he's still insecure, and he would SOO react like that if he were feeling jealous or intimidated

Author's Response: hehehe, yeah it's pretty tough to be mad at him! Imagine being Pam....well let's all take a minute and imagine getting to be her for a second...::sigh:: anywhoo back to our regularly scheduled program - thanks so much for the feedback!!! You're so kind as always!

A first -- angsty babyfic!

she did that thing where she started waving her arms around like she was getting ready to take off in flight
. -- ha!  My daughter used to do that!  We call it 'the hummingbird'

While it's common knowledge that women get all hormonal during & after pregnancy, it's not often discussed how men go all 'caveman' about their new families -- this is some interesting territory to explore.

Author's Response: Oooh the hummingbird! I love that! I may use that later if you don't mind! :-)

Oh, man. You're so good at domestic Jim and Pam. I loved this. And thank you for Jim knowing how dumb he was being (even though I was loving it).

Author's Response: Yeah Jim definitely knew he was crossing a line, but at the same time you gotta love him for it. I imagine he'll always be just a little bit possessive when it comes to Roy.

Heee! So cute and sweet! Daddy!Jim is totally hot.

And this made me laugh out loud:
“She’s the one who called you Equestraphobic.”
“Excuse me?”
“Donkey hater,”

Bobble head baby?  OMG!  And how freaking perfect is Jim to be fighting over his baby with Pam.  (I will remember this in a few weeks when I have double the diapers to deal with!)

Just when I thought Daddy Jim couldn't get any more adorable, you go and write this update. So funny when he does the baby voice, when he says 'is it the baby weight?'...and it somehow does seem right that Jim would be better at baby stuff than Pam at first. Still cute without being sappy, and the characters still sound just as I'd imagine  them. Really charming and fun.

Uh, whoops, that previous anonymous comment was me. Apparently I don't know how to work this feature. Duh. Also? You are awesome.

I giggled and grinned the whole way through. Wonderful. I have two favourite lines: His head fell back dramatically. “Uh….do you have to use that every time? Pam it just comes off as lazy. The whole ‘I Have Breasts’ card…it’s just so played out.” And: “Donkey hater,” Jim said as if it were a far gone conclusion. Because it's so... Jim. And also? Donkey hater? Hee.
