Oh I love this. I do wish we got to see her deal with Mark's return, but it's absolutely wonderful as is.

Ha!  Oh, Mark would know better than to interrupt THAT.  Even if he were in the bathroom or something.  He can just darn well stay in there until they're finished.  :)

I love that she couldn't just leave him there in the parking lot, with his car in a snow drift.  It's so authentic an action for Pam.  Great characterization in this.  I love it!

OMG, I almost cried when Pam said all that to Jim!  And I don't cry.  I'm a robot, really.  So, like, excellent job there!

Author's Response: I know you reviewed this 100 years ago - but I wanted to thank you for taking the time to review.  I am going back to see if I missed any reviews and I just realized I didn't take the time to say thank you back then.  So thank you!!

OMG, this may be one of my favorite fics I've read here, and that is really saying something considering I've spent the last week-and-a-half reading through just about everything alphabetically.

Out of control Pam was amazing. I would love to see Pam pushed to the brink and letting loose with Jim. Because she seems so hesitant in canon, I think it would take some kind of break for all of it to pour out of her.

Seriously, this was so hot and satisfying on so many levels. Excellent job.

Author's Response:

I'm so glad you liked it - and so sorry not to have replied sooner!!!  I try and answer everyone but this slipped past me.

OOC Pam was a hoot to write.  It was very cathartic to have her let him have it.  Both with words and....you know... ;)

Thanks again!

Eeeee!  Jim is too funny, with not telling Pam that Mark was home because she was "a woman on a mission."

Backtracking a little, I love the part where they're telling each other to stop it, and Jim asks her to give him one reason why he should break up with Karen, and Pam pushes him against the wall.  Holy shit.  This was awesome, xoxoxo!!!

Author's Response: Thanks so much!!  I'm so glad you enjoyed my silly little attempt at Pam losing control.  It was certainly fun to write!

Author's Response: She's cool isn't she?  LOL!  Thanks gotkona!

First off...i tottally agree about Sarah. Anything that woman sings is magic and muse. Secondly, GREAT chapter! Pam finally got her man! I have to say though I love that he laid into her about her not exactly giving him the clearest of signs when he came back to Scranton. GREAT STUFF!

Author's Response:

RE: Sarah.  Seriously. Any time I'm looking for a quote or a mood all I have to do is think back to one of her songs.  Amazing.  RE: the story - Though I thought there were things that Jim needed to be called on - truth be told - IMHO they are both equally to blame for the current status of their relationship.  God how I wish I could knock their heads together.  Just TELL HIM Pam!  STOP fooling yourself Jim!!!

But alas...I'll have to just keep writing it here.  LOL!

Thanks LoveFool!!

Wow!  Pam!  Wow!

And somehow, it was totally a Jim & Pam thing.

Author's Response:

It'd be interesting to see more takes on this version of Pam.  I've just got my own picture of her in my mind and I can't make her be too out of control.  KWIM?

Thanks so much for the review!

First - great balance in getting Jim's side of the story this time. And, atta girl, Pam! Hot, hot, hot and...loved that Jim was amused by her (yet, oh so responsive too.)

How funny when he announces that they're not alone. Perfect way to undercut the seriousness of the moment, and by infusing humor, make it so JAM-esque. Thanks for concluding this tale of LC (in control) Pam in such fine style. Hard to resist!

Author's Response:

Thank Morning Angel - she beta'd the hell out of this one.  Sometimes I guess I make her job easy - this time she kept saying - "Nope. Close - but not quite."

She wanted to see more of Jim (TWSS!) and I was trying sooo hard to make it Pam-centric.  Too hard it seemed - in the end.

I tried to make it more angsty - but I was reaching a bit too much.  Once I added the humor it all clicked.  I really can't imagine them being anything short of giddy when the time comes.  I know they absolutely could be much more intense and serious...but I'm definitely not the one to write it that way.

So glad you liked it!

Love this: "At this point I'm pretty sure neither one of us knows the other as well as we think." So true! For a couple of people who communicate so well without speaking, imagine where they could be if they would freaking TALK about what is important!!

And I think this whole story is a good example of what could happen now that the cork has been popped from Pam's bottled-up emotions.  First, the crying, then the anger, finally, she tackles that boy like he deserves.  Nice plan.  Now if Greg Daniels would get with it, I'd be a happy woman.  Great job with OutOfControl!Pam.  Funny how she is actually InControl!Pam.

Author's Response:

Thanks lisahoo.  That was the point I wanted to make most.  They know each other soooo well - but continue to misread or stay silent and it gets them NO WHERE fast.

I'm not sure we'll ever see anything like this - but oh how I'd like to. Thanks, as always, for your lovely review!

"You were a woman on a mission."

Oh, Pam. Just jump the boy already. *sigh* Wonderful chapter; their confrontation was very strong and very hot. ;D

Author's Response:

If only she would - we'd all be spared watching their collective heartache.

But then what would we do on Thurs nights? ;)

Thanks so much for the review!

Whoooo.

"At this point I'm pretty sure neither one of us knows the other as well as we think."  Jim said with a small sardonic smile.  "Maybe we should just say what we mean for once."

Yes. Please.

Author's Response:

Yeah.  Tell me about it.  These two win the miscommunication award of the year.

Big fat SIGH.

This was so sweet and hot and funny - and it has put me in such a great mood to watch the show tonight.  Thanks for the wonderfully happy ending!

Author's Response:

I'm glad I put you in a good mood - 'cause now I'm a little bit peeved at my Jimmy.  Jerkface.  If only LC!Pam would tell him how things really are.

SIGH.

ps: you're welcome. :)

Oh my God, hahaha...  Mark's home!  This chapter was sweet and cute and hot.  I definitely kind LC!Pam.  Please let us see her on the show.  Rawr!!

Author's Response: Hee!  I really struggled with this chapter but I liked the idea of Pam going for it and then finding out that she could have gotten caught in the act and then finally not caring.   Glad you liked her too.  We'll see if she shows up on our screen!
