I'm so glad you liked it - and I'm working on it!  The next chapter should be up pretty soon.

Thanks for reviewing!

I love it! I can't pinpoint what makes it sit so well, but it really feels authentic and is addictive - I'm bummed to have finished it!

Please post more soon... Maybe a glimpse into the date conversation? Or what happened after she left the conference room talking head?

Summary:

Post ep The Job.  Spoilers for The Job and probably most of season 3.

"So where do you see yourself in 10 years?"  Who knew one question could provoke a reaction?  Jim sure didn't.  Starts with the David/Jim conversation and moves on from there.

WOOOO! I love it, am bursting with aniticipation for the next installment. Please don't make us wait too long!

My favourite line: "Walking out on David Wallace was the first honest thing he had done in over a year." It really wrapped up so much in a simple statement.

As far as constructive criticism goes (I really loved most of it, I just want to share my opinion on this bit, I hope that's ok): I always expected Pam to be a little shy and awkward, even if just for a few minutes, when she walks out of the conference room after the talking head. He would have to come over to reception, rap his fingers against the ledge and show that he's really "back" with a little old-school Jam interaction, before Pam could really be sure that it was real.

Overall, I think it's stunning and am so excited to read more!

Summary: Jim and Pam go out to dinner. The menu? A big heaping plate of FLUFF.

This is excellent! Please don't make us wait too long before posting again, I can't wait for some Jam date banter!

I love it all, so it was difficult to pick a favourite, but for some reason I really love this line:

"He couldn’t tell if it was working."

Anyway, please post again soon, I'm loving this to pieces! Excellent job.

Author's Response: Thanks so much! I should have more by the weekend. I've got a busy Thursday and Friday but I will definitely put up SOMETHING.

I really loved that line too. It was an unintentional double meaning.

Summary: Past Featured StoryShe can’t help but feel like it’s a good sign; a step in the right direction. Set post-The Job.

This is beautiful! I love everything about it - the fancy restaurant being too swish for them, fries theft and ball pits - it's so amazing. The narrative is great too, it really sounds like Pam in my head.

Please post again soon  - this is amazing.

Summary:

Jim's first barbeque was a success and so he decides to have another. Someone breaks into the liquor cabinet and things... take interesting turns.

Jim/Pam smut with a pretty hefty (for me) plot, but LOTS OF DRINKING! Which is always fun.

FINISHED!!!

I love it! Oh, please write an infinite number more chapters. I was so sad when I realised this chapter didn't include the date I'm so desperate to read about.

One of the things I thought about most after viewing the finale was how Pam and Jim would interact when Pam walks out of the conference room. You've done a great job of capturing their coy-ness (is that a word? Anyway...) and sudden humility around each other. Fantastic. Please write more!!

Author's Response: Thanks for reading and reviewing. I really appreciate all the nice comments! You're too kind! I'm really hoping to get more this story out soon so keep looking for updates! Thanks again.

It made me feel giddy! I'm loving this. The whole Dwight/Andy plot is really authentic, it really feels like it would fit in the show. And the email exchanges are perfect - I want to read their whole week of email exchanges!!

My favourite line, so perfect, has to be: "You know I'm right."

I love it, please post more!

Wow - you've really done your research! I can't believe I never noticed the 'Smile' sticky note before. :)

I love this chapter, maybe even more than the first. Especially Jim's thoughts on the drive - I felt a little giddy for him!

Author's Response: Aw, thanks jacsonian!  You know from my posts at OQ that I tend to be a bit on the obsessive, er enthusiastic side when it comes to details. :-)  That smile sticky note just killed me in GWH.  Poor Jim missing his Pam. *sigh*

I'm glad you're enjoying the story! Yay for being giddy or Jim! :-)

WOW! This is definitely my favourite chapter so far. Everything about it is so genuinely Jim & Pam - from "Jim wasn’t a complainer" to "Go Team Me!" - amazing.

And I love that Pam has "Jim" playlist - it definitely seems like something she would feel compelled to make on a lonely night at home after a day of Jim/Karen torture. Did you get the Wilco reference from Jim's iTunes celebrity playlist? It was an excellent addition.

Excellent work SusanM - I'm so excited about the last chapter. Thanks so much for writing :)

Author's Response: Aw, jacsonian is the bestest! :-)  Thanks so much for such a great review.  I knew that John Krasinski is a Wilco fan (and I am as well - their new album Sky Blue Sky is awesome!), but I did not know when I wrote this that Wilco was on Jim Halpert's iTunes playlist.  I must be psychic!

Thanks again for reading!
