Summary: Past Featured StoryThese are meaningless, short and simple ways for me to pass the time. Most of these have been sitting on the hard drive I've been cleaning out for the past couple of weeks (slowly but surely). Just pregnant Pam and baby fluff. They were all labeled "babytimes01.txt" on my computer, hence the name. Just vignettes, not necessarily chapters in order, and the rating is caution for later. Spoilers for the Delivery in the last chapter.

Great story. I like how you ended with our actually MEETING little Cecelia Marie and having Jim and Pam expecting the next child. This was a really sweet story all around!

Ooh! I LOVE this little twist! It didn't occur to me that you'd have Emma TAKE Pam with her! I sense good things coming in the next few chapters. ;-)

Author's Response: Glad you're enjoying! Oh yes..good and new things will be happening. Thanks for your review, it means a lot!

Interesting turn of events!  Will Pam be one of Emma's references?

Author's Response: :) Glad you're enjoying it! The next chapter will answer your question! :D

Well, THIS was certainly another unexpected twist! Daniel is intriguing ... I'm a sucker for a nice British accent! I'll be interested to see if he's yummy agressive or aggressive-aggressive. And to have Pam meet him and run into Jim in under an hour ... well.

I think you do a really good job with plot development. This is fun.

Author's Response: Mmm Daniel will definitely be an interesting plot twist..I'm excited for readers to continue and see what happens with him. He'll be playing a large role in this story :) Love me some British accents! ;) Thanks so much for the review Vampiric Blood!

Very sweet!  I like your choices of songs for each chapter.

Author's Response: Thank you so much, Vampiric Blood! This story is a case of "You Know You Are Completely Obsessed w/ the Office" when you listen to these songs and thought of Jim and Pam :D

I really like the song you chose for S3.  The lyrics are woven into the chapter so nicely.

Author's Response: This is one of my favorite chapters to write so I'm so glad you thought the lyrics and the story went well together. Thanks once again, VB!

Summary: A series of simple, yet memorable moments in the lives of Jim and Pam. Each chapter will be a short stand alone scene, and I'll add them as I think of ideas. The rating may eventually change.

Woot! I thought this was a one shot! I am very excited to realize there's more to come. You know I liked ALL of this! I think it's pitch perfect Jim. Sweet but not saccharine. Jim is there for Pam and sentimental as all get out, but he can still laugh at her. Perfect, perfect fluff!!

HOWEVER, you didn't include your chapter title in the version you sent to your trusty betas. I'm sure that NanReg or I would have been happy to buy a vowel for you...

Author's Response: Whoopsie! Thanks for the heads up, as always. We'un hillbillies don't need no dagblasted vwls.

Wow.  That was just amazing.  You channelled Jim there.  I love the way you have him confess; such a beautiful sentiment that when you love someone you want for them what they want.  And then he admits that he wants the art experience for her.

Well written, all around!

Author's Response: Thank you, Ann! I'm glad the confession came out okay, I was spending too much time figuring it out. Thanks so much for the review, hope you enjoy the rest of the story.

Wow! Very hot. And, honestly? Unexpected. Both how far and quickly things progressed and that Stanley was in the room. Of course, I thought it was Roy at the door.

So, is Pam writing to Roy or Jim? I hope you post the next chapter soon!

Yanana, this is your best story ever, I think. Your writing is crisp and fresh and descriptive. So many great details like the bits about Jim's biking to his mom's for dinner vs. driving in for a surprise weekend. The little details about coming close to running red lights and Jim's annoyance at the lady in the next car.

You've pegged his frustration and love for Pam perfectly. This is a gorgeous, gorgeous chapter.

Author's Response: Thanks so much! I really do love writing in first person for Jim, which is half the frustration in getting my other stories moving... because they are not that way. I think I'll probably stick with this method for a long time.

Whoa! Shit! This is COMPLETE? No! Ok I'll agree with another reviewer that this was a really great tone for the ending but. Damn, girl! I want more!

Author's Response: lol, this cracked me up. Your double take. An epilogue might in store, haven't decided yet. :)

Summary: When Pam wakes up in the hospital, her entire world is backwards. Literally. Gone is her life with Jim, and she is in a life she thought she left long ago. The worst part? Apparently, the last three years were all a dream.

WOW!! This was simply phenomenal. Not an extra word anywhere. Pitch perfect internal monologues. This is one of those pieces where I can't point out my favorite bits, because I'd have to copy and paste the whole damn thing. I will say, this simply took my breath away:

“Keep it,” he says, “I’m taking enough junk with me already.”

Absolutely the most cutting, cruel, effective Jim line I think I've ever read.

I hope you have more stories in you! I'm ready to read another.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed it, especially Jim's parting shot! Ouch. I think I may have a few more Office stories in me, so watch this space...

Well, you KNOW I love this chapter. Good pacing, good dialogue, realistic interactions between Pam and Jim and each of them with the doctor. I really like how Dr. Bressman "handles" them to keep them calm.

I'm gettin' out my snow blower!

Author's Response: You're gonna need that snow blower. Seriously, thanks so much for your help with this.

I love that Pam notices she has Jim's sounds memorized. And still just love this:

“He’s lying”, Pam’s brain said, which didn’t make any sense because all Jim had said was “Hey,” which wasn’t really something you could lie about.

Because we know exactly what Pam's talking about and he is lying.

Author's Response: I'm so glad you like that line because I liked it, too. I love their connection- that she knows him well enough to know he's lying before he even gets the lie out.

Reviewer: Vampiric Blood Signed

The revisions you made to the close were GREAT! Far better than what I'd proposed. And, like I said, this is the best twisting of the CN interchange that I think I've seen.

I really liked this addition to the chapter, too:

When was the last time she’d caught Roy looking at her when she wasn’t paying attention? How had she felt about it? She caught Jim all the time. It always made her blush.

All in all, a great job! Thanks so much for auctioning off your wares. This was a fun adventure!

Author's Response:

It was fun! I hope it lived up to your expectations- it has been great working with/for you!

It's funny that you say the changes were better than your proposal, because I literally cut & pasted your suggestion into my text and then just tweaked around the edges. You were exactly right about the ending, it was far too abrupt. This is better.

Thank you for everything, including the kind comments!

You know, I knew some were hoping I'd re-write history (oh, yeah, these are fictional characters...well,you know what I mean ;-) but my idea for this story just wasn't about that...hope no one is disappointed. Oh, this is WONDERFUL dialogue!  Pitch perfect.  I love how they take turns reassuring each other ... and still teasing each other.  Pam's not the size of a continent but a state ... Maybe Delaware?  Priceless.

This is my favorite line though.  Just rings so true to character:

Punctuality has its merits, Pam.
