Hey, bashert!  Welcome back.  I enjoyed this much more than a little :)  I can envision Pam trying to keep it together, trying to move on.  Surely the office gossips must have been working overtime, and that couldn't have been easy.  Seeing Roy every day must have been even worse.  And no Jim to help her through the Black Days.  *sigh*  Fine job, my dear.

Fantastic job, Steph.  You brought Sasha to life, and Toby, too, for that matter.  I'm impressed with the little things that give this story such depth and heart--your descriptions of Kelly's wardrobe, her little gifts for Sasha, Ari's adoration of her older sister.  I think my favorite part was Toby calling Ari by names of food--really quirky and funny :D

Blanca, this is glorious.  It scratches an itch right between my shoulder blades that I couldn't reach myself ;)  Still itchy, though, so keep going!  In fact, I was thinking of this story on my way in to work.  It's one of those fics that wormed its way under my skin.  I find myself wondering what would happen next. 

So this review isn't totally useless, let me unload some thoughts:

Your description of Jim's new apartment building and how it makes Pam feel is so vivid.  The place didn't seem like Jim at all, but she couldn't really say she knew Jim anymore, so maybe it was exactly like him now. Ah, that hurts.

I adore your drunk, barely censored Jim.  His texting his address and code was brilliant.  The alcohol has given him just enough courage...or is it desperation?

His door was plain and painted the color of vanilla ice cream, or a certain make of cardstock that Jim would certainly know. This line and Pam's memory of their little game is perfection and, again, so vivid.  He'd laughed without opening his mouth, a little snort she recognizes in hindsight as a telltale sign that his feelings were dangerously close to the surface. She wishes she'd been brave enough to see it then, or at least admit she saw it.  Guh.  Fabulous.  I picture the two of them wearing sombreros, laughing over Andy. 

Jim's drunken, sleepy state serves him well in allowing him the courage to kiss Pam.  That reunion kiss/makeout session is a thing of beauty in and of itself, rough and passionate, overthinking not getting in the way of feeling.  Jim's musing over whether he was dreaming felt so beautifully in character.  "If this were a dream, that's exactly what you'd say."  Love. That.  And then that little voice of reason gets in the way.  Can't wait to hear what it has to say. 

I'll be waiting right here for that next update...

Hot DAMN, ladies!  You are responsible for this big ole grin on my face this Thursday morning...and increasing my vocabulary by one word :D  In addition to capturing the sensual tone of the song, your POV's meshed beautifully.  They were steamy, yet didn't feel OOC to me.  Excited for more!  ::throws fifty cents into the pot::

Author's Response: Thank you very much! We had fun with that one. Hard to imagine anything but steam with that song. I thought we did a good job of adapting our text back & forth to accommodate the other half. I'm glad you agreed! So, what was the new word?

*claps* Nice job, ivy!  I like it.  It feels real.  I enjoyed the awkwardness, the humor and the promise of that last line.   

*sigh* Why do these chaps go so quickly?  I was so excited to see an update and now it's done :'(  Btw, the peeing outside seemed totally in character.  Oh and yet another chapter featuring, directly or indirectly, Jim's penis :D

Author's Response: If only I'd been in the same boat, Nan. This was one of my most useless days EVER at the office. I literally cannot get my job done when people don't respond. It would have been so much more productive to stay home and write stories.

So much to smile about in this chap, ivy.  First off, I loved the hand kiss--very sweet.  Ferris Bueller shout outs?  Of course I'm going to love that.  And, finally, 13"?  Yet to be revealed?  Such a tease ;)  Needless to say, I'm looking forward to more (TWSS)  :D
