Her first day at Dunder Mifflin wasn't the first time they'd met. Mostly AU with perhaps a bit of S2 or S3-related stuff...I haven't really planned it out yet though. Oh, and the title of the story is also the title of an old Zombies song.
Also, I'm new to this stuff so if I've mislabeled anything, please let me know! I don't even know what most of the labels mean. :-S

10 Wow! Powerful stuff. You really did a great job illustrating what Jim and Pam were thinking and feeling during that break room scene. (I still have a hard time watching it..too painful.) Even though it was depressing, it was real and beautifully written. Can't wait for more!

Everything leading up to it was so spot on The Office too. Keep 'em coming. I have a feeling we're going to need a lot of this type of fanfic to get us through the drought.

This chapter was just mesmerizing. I loved it. I love dark, brooding Jim.

10 I never get tired of First Date Fics. This was fabulous! I had butterflies in my stomach almost the whole time I was reading it. I can't believe this is your first fic. You did an amazing job. This is my favorite part:
“Oh.” He looks solemn for a moment, then pulls her into a hug.
“You’re probably right,” he says into her hair. They stand like that, eyes closed, listening to each other breathe. Then she feels him grin into her curls. “So, slow like we’ve already gone too far and I need to get my sorry ass out of your apartment, or slow like you’re going to let me make out with you for another hour and then send me home all sexually frustrated?”
“Jim!” She pulls back to glare at him, but his smile is infectious. “Ok, it’s the second one. But you have to stop doing the thing with your hands!”
I hope there will be more chapters to this story!
