9 Wow. Really steamy, and the sexual tension is through the roof. This was the first fic I ever read in the Office fandom, and jump started my interest in reading more fics. I enjoyed it when I first read it a year and a half ago, and I enjoyed it just as much now.
This was submitted for the Office Fiction Writers Challenge. Kevin Malone decides to try his hand at creative writing.9 This was hilarious. So Kevin the whole way through. Pam's line at the end was awesome.
Random season four angst/fluff/Jim musings. 9 Wow. Beautifully written and very moving. You've analyzed Jim's thoughts on his relationship with Pam in a believable way. Despite Jim's elation at finally being with Pam, it seems realistic for him to still feel nervous about the future, especially after all they've been through. The ache, loneliness, desperation, it all seems so real. Good Job!

That part killed me. My stomach actually plummeted reading that because I could really feel the shock and panic Jim was going through. Really great writing.
The only thing that I didn't quite find believable was Karen writing those messages and sticking them in Jim's desk. It just seemed a bit ooc and immature for her to stick angry notes in his desk, and somewhat different than the level headed person the show has portrayed her as. That's just my opinion though. Please don't take this personally, I really enjoyed your story otherwise.

Jim's been acting a little strange these days.8 I wish I had reviewed this story earlier. I'm really enjoying this. It's believable, warm, and funny all in one package, and I love how you integrate actual episodes into the story and fill in the unseen bits. I really enjoyed Jim and Pam's flashbacks of the day they met. I can see Pam feeling an immediate attraction to Jim, but lying about her engagement. Great Job!
9 This was really well written and lovely. I think you nailed Jim's thoughts over the last few episodes and during his whole character arc. The conflicting thoughts between hating/liking his job, contemplating his capabilities, his relationship with Pam, everything was so well written. Well Done!

He\'s finally got the girl, but there is something going on beneath the surface... a mini quarter-life crisis, perhaps. "Well apparently, for two people who like to talk, we aren't very good at communicating." 9 This was really great to read. The dialogue, characterization, voices, everything sounded real and in character. Great job getting inside Jim and Pam's heads and making their thoughts sound realistic. I especially enjoyed their realization that they hold back their thoughts in order to protect each other. That really sounds a lot like a problem they would run into.

8 There aren't many fics from Angela's perspective, which is too bad because Angela is an interesting character. Great job getting inside Angela's mind and capturing what she's thinking in regards to her relationship with Dwight. You've captured her conflicting thoughts and mindset well.
Oh, and this line: Her heart was buried in a beet field. The rich, moist soil was keeping it safe for she-didn't-know-when. fits the whole situation perfectly. Great job!

9 I'm really glad to see that you've written another story, Colette. I've always been a fan of your writing.
The way you've created contrasting scenarios between Jim and Roy proposing really rings true to the characters. As we've seen before, it takes beer to motivate Roy into taking charge with his relationships. Jim on the other hand, would make the moment more about them and would be more in tune to Pam's feelings. What you've written is pretty much how I see the proposal happening. Anyway, great job with this fic!

9 I really liked how you wrote Jim's proposal. It was simple and quiet, a spur of the moment gesture. That fits who they are more than a proposal with fireworks.
You have a great sense of their dialogue as well. The timing, wording, tone, it all sounded completely in character. Great job!
Spoilers for "Goodbye Toby."10 Really lovely and delightfully sweet. You've captured Jim's thoughts and the impact of Pam's absence from his daily life really well. I can see Jim having conflicting thoughts between really missing her yet being so proud of her. Jim constantly looking up at the reception desk and feeling Pam's absence from his apartment were really sweet. I also loved how Jim split up the week until he would see Pam again. The way you wrote his thoughts while he was with Pam was really touching and sweet. I'd list the parts that I liked from this, but I'd end up copying the whole thing. Anyway, really well done!

Seriously, lovey job. The way you captured Pam's embarrassment and shamefulness in looking at Jim was well done. This line:

10 As always, your stories are beautifully written. The mood in this fic is lovely. On one hand, there's a sweet moment between Jim and Pam in bed. Yet at the same time the mood is bitter-sweet because Pam is about to leave for NY. I loved how they just wanted to spend a quiet moment in bed before Pam left.

10 These are so well written and lovely. Each chapter gets better and better. Parts of this story are angsty, but seeing Jim and Pam discuss issues on their personal life is what makes it seem so realistic. I was really impressed with how you wrote Pam's inner thoughts in this chapter. Jim seems like the sort of person who would go with the flow and not express his opinion on a particular subject. Seeing Pam try to coax it out of him seemed very realistic. Expecially since she fell into a passive role in her relationship with Roy. Anyway, great job!!

It is heartbreaking to look back at Jim during S2 and think about how much pain he was in, especially in light of the things he said to Dwight in Money. I'll admit I was worried about writing this at first because my story 'happens' before Pam and Roy get "re-engaged" in booze cruise. I had a hard time coming up with a legitimate scenario in which Jim would have left before then, because I didn't think the reality of it all (her being engaged) hit him until that episode. However I'm glad you feel it's coming across as realistic because that was my biggest hurdle. Anyway, thanks for reading and reviewing - more is coming soon, I promise.

It all sounded very real and in character, and I enjoyed the amount of detail you wrote in each comparison between Pam and Karen. Love how every time Jim tried to push his thoughts elsewhere, it always came back to Pam. The smut was hot as well :)
