I adored this piece! I especially like the title chapter names because myself am a huge Maroon 5 fan and it was great to see some of there lyrics incorporated into the piece.
Wow, I really enjoyed this story. you captured moments really well. I also, have a vague recollection of seeing a pre season 4 promo about Michael taking the whole office to see Knocked Up, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Its not even on the summer promo on the season 4 DVD.

I love this chapter! Especially Jim's inner thoughts. Also, the other british reference is when Jim is talking about how a friend once told him that life is about a series of moments. Tim has a talking head about that in the christmas special.

These are meaningless, short and simple ways for me to pass the time. Most of these have been sitting on the hard drive I've been cleaning out for the past couple of weeks (slowly but surely). Just pregnant Pam and baby fluff. They were all labeled "babytimes01.txt" on my computer, hence the name. Just vignettes, not necessarily chapters in order, and the rating is caution for later. Spoilers for the Delivery in the last chapter.That was my favorite so far!

Season two angst? Yes, please! A retake on "Boys and Girls" from season two, had no cameras been present. So, spoilers for that, obviously.gahh! I love love love this story! I thought your narration of Pam was very well done, it broke my heart a little bit. Also, it's refreshing to have some season 2 angst to counteract all this wonderful babyrama that is season 6.

I enjoyed the story immensely, however I had some problems with the title. Enslaved seems to forced or something. I don't know, just my opinion. But i still loved it.

I needed something to counteract the saccharine sweetness of most of this story, so I added things like the title, the part where Jim discovers the potential for violence in himself, the anxiety he fears for his daughter. Love is transgressive, not always pretty, not always fluffy. Jim, like many men, did not expect to be overwhelmed by fatherhood; such a change in one's view of oneself is always a little unsettling. So I felt "enslavement", with its overtones of involuntarily being caught by something, fitted the mood.

Once again, you captured both of them perfectly. I love how you portrayed Jim to be completely oblivious to Pam's seduction efforts, hilarious! I can't wait for chapter 2. Also, where was that six weeks comment?
