They are the cutest! I am in love.

I really really loved the text exchanges. They felt so in character and like a very real elevation of their banter and progression of their relationship now that they’ve admitted their feelings to each other. And I love that you addressed that feeling of awkwardness or worry in those early stages of a relationship that especially come up after you make a bold move. I remember that feeling so well and you captured it perfectly.

I also loved Isabel! She’s my favorite type of friend. Gotta love a hype woman who also brings wine!

And the little hints of sexy stuff were excellent, lady. I cannot wait to see what you bless us with next!

Lady! This slayed me. The patience, the sleeves, the break room banter, it’s all so perfect. You have such a gift at throwing in these sneaky little sexy lines and they’re so in character and so right for the moment, I’m always in awe. I love the build up to the next levels of seduction, you tease!

“It was a heady place to be” as if this entire chapter wasn’t a heady place to be! The little touches and their conversation about weakness were my favorite parts, they were so perfect. Sprinkles, how do you do this? The tiniest things become so sexy and sweet at the same time with your writing. You have such a gift, lady!

Hello how does it feel to write a perfect conclusion to a perfect story? Inquiring minds want to know.

Loved loved loved the way you wrote this, with the flashes and the hints and the KISS CAM (look at peer pressure work!) and the moments of hesitation and the banter! Excellent perfect spot on banter! You have such a gift and I am so glad I get to witness it!

It must be a coincidence that I just started a rewatch of Doctor Who, or maybe you and I share a brain! This is so imaginative and lovely and it gives me all the fun sci-fi feels as well as all the fun romance feels! I love the image of Jim as the time traveler and Pam his companion, and LOVE that he’s shown up in some vulnerable places in her life and helped to pull her out of the funk they left her in. Plus you write their voices so well. I have no trouble at all believing it’s Jim and Pam. I love this so much! I can’t wait to read about their next adventure.

Author's Response: Thank you for your sweet review, BT! I think it wasn't a coincidence, it was a perfect timing ;) I hope you'll like the next chapter.

I really am enjoying this story! Again, I think you are just such a wordsmith. The line about the hazelnuts blew my mind, that was so genius. And I love how you’ve constructed time travel in this story. The imagery of the corridor is so fun and imaginative. Great job, Dernhelm!

Author's Response: Thank you, BT! I'm excited to get reviews from you and I truly appreciate your kind words! Hope you'll enjoy the following parts as well :)

I am so captivated by this! It’s such a great premise and forces everyone to take a look at what they really want, what they try to push aside during waking or conscious hours. I love how Pam wasn’t hesitant to help him when he asked, I love how you have shown the juxtaposition of Karen’s Jim and real Jim, and I actually really liked having that whole first chapter be from Karen’s perspective. I don’t feel like we see that a lot, and like we don’t get a whole lot of insight into her. Your characterization makes total sense. Great job, looking forward to more!

Author's Response: Thanks, BigTuna. I'm really glad it's working for you. I was a bit worried I'd crossed the 'cheese' line with this...

Just caught up on these last two chapters! First, this line made me laugh out loud: “When did you turn into the bargain-basement Gordon Gekko?” You have so many fun lines like this that make the story so fun to read!

I’m glad Jim is feeling better and that they’re finally talking! Karen coming in right as they start to turn a corner was evil but I LOVE it. I like how you write her, she can be tricky but I like the mean girl version of Karen we sometimes see and I think you’ve written a very great and believable version of that. I also loved the entire lead up to her entrance, it was all so sweet! Can’t wait to see what happens next!

Author's Response: Really glad you like it, and glad you're liking Karen. Thanks for reading!

I had this super long review typed out with all of my favorite parts highlighted and then I accidentally swiped away and lost it!! The gist of it was that there were so many lines and moments that I absolutely loved (every insight having an evil twin is one that I especially love) and I really like how you’ve characterized each of them. Even Karen! Who is the villain but the thing is that I KNOW that girl and she absolutely is going to go on and go crush it somewhere, but she was never meant for Scranton. And that bit with Creed’s talking head, I laughed out loud!

And then I was so glad to see them talking. I love reading different takes on how they discuss everything that was left unsaid when he left and how they both felt after his return. I liked yours a lot! I’ve really been enjoying this story and will be sad to see it go. I’m already looking forward to the next chapter and your next story, though! Thank you so much for sharing it with us!

Author's Response: Thank you very much, BT. Much appreciated. I'm really glad you're liking Karen's characterization; I wasn't exactly sure where or how draw the line between sympathetic / unsympathetic.

Congratulations on a fic well finished! This was quite a feat and you should feel so proud! I enjoyed this story from start to finish and really loved how you wrapped things up. The boxes were so cute and heartfelt and felt very in character, Danny and Karen are perfect together, and the proposal scene was excellent. Great job, Sam! Can’t wait to see what you bless us with next!

Author's Response:

Thank you, BT! Thanks for reading, and thanks for all your reviews. I really appreciate it.

Jenna!! Beautiful as always. So much of this album is perfect Jam material (as we all have seen already) and you fit this song to their situation perfectly. I loved how Pam and Jim’s perspectives bookended Roy and Karen’s! That isn’t something we get very often and I really enjoyed it. Amazing as always!

JUST KIDDING OBVIOUSLY PLEASE DO IT OMG ARE YOU KIDDING ME RN

I did not expect the cab incident! That was thrilling, in the suspenseful thriller novel kind of way. I loved seeing protective Jim during that and then seat scuffle. And then the way they came together out in the street and Pam let her heart do what it wanted!!! So good.

Girl. Welcome to the smut writers club, we are so happy to have you. Do you know why?

Because this was SO. GOOD. Oh my god! So good! I knew it would be because it’s you, obv, but, like. Are you kidding me right now? It was such a good blend of heat and seriousness and humor and also I loved that when they went out to eat Jim immediately started in with the heavy topics. I loved it. So so good!

Author's Response: BT. I so needed this today. Thank you for always being so damn encouraging.

Jim jumping straight to the heavy topics because I can’t be bothered writing the small talk - I’m glad my laziness worked for you!

Oooh this is so intriguing! You are right, there is nothing like a good backstory! You wrote the hallmarks of an abusive and controlling relationship so well, especially the part where she hides her passions. That made me so sad for Morgan-turned-Pam. I love that Karen and Dan are her buddies and are helping her out the way that they did. I am so looking forward to her journey to her new life!

Author's Response:

Backstories change EVERYTHING!

Thank you. Supression of your S.O.’s dreams and desires reminds me much of emotional ab*se. Roy does that in the series too, but not to this scale. But ab*se is ab*se.

Of course Karen and Dan help! Karen isn’t *that* heartless lol.

Thank you for your kind words!

This is so intriguing! I love stories with their kids so I am excited to read one that have Cece and Phil featured so prominently. And I’m super interested to read more about the plane and the cruise and everything else. Amaia’s comment about the coffee made me immediately dislike her and I love a good villain, so I’m looking forward to her, too! I feel like this is relatively uncharted territory for MTT and I’m excited for you to take it on!

Okay, Cece and Phil are so fun to read! I loved these last two chapters with them. The fact that Jim’s huge client is sitting right across the aisle from them is wild, and surely since he recognized Pam he’ll put two and two together after a while, right? I’m glad that Amaia is not the home-wrecker we were all picturing, but I still don’t know how much I trust her. And during this entire chapter I felt so bad for Pam! So much on her plate and her husband back in a private room with his secretary. Chaos at 35 hundred feet, lol!
