Bio:

I'm a student living in Seattle. For a while I was only reading and reviewing, (I'm pretty shy) but then I decided to go for it and begin posting - albeit very sporadically. I still feel that I've got a long way to go in terms of my writing, but as I'm busy with school I'm content to just read, review and beta for now.

That said, I love to rock climb, travel (Europe in particular), listen to old 60's music, read all of your stories here and watch The Office, How I Met Your Mother and Gilmore Girls.

Email me anytime and I'll gladly beta for you - just know that I might be a bit preoccupied from time to time with school, but I'm still interested. My email is: pamelamorganhalpert [at] yahoo [dot] com

P.S. I saw Jenna Fischer in person in May 2010 at the world premiere of her movie 'A Little Help' and I've got a insy winsy picture on my phone to prove it (sadly no autograph...). However, I can say that I've been within a foot of Jenna, as she walked right by me to take pictures for the press.

I can't believe that 'Ernie' and 'Tom' thought to look for them at the beet farm! That's amazingly hilarious and I almost shuddered and hid behind my desk as I read that thinking they were looking for me with a big videocamera. But it's quite surprising that they didn't find them. Well, I guess the farm is pretty bit, though. And they could have been in numerous places... but still - that's a great idea to have them go there. And that Phyllis and Dwangela were in on it? Even better. Great job!

Summary: Past Featured Story

MEMBER'S CHOICE - An alternate universe where Pam and Roy had a wedding, Pam goes to art school in New York, Dwight owns a restaurant and Jim works for a job in advertising that he likes a lot more and gets a lot more money at.
Basically? Dunder Mifflin never exists. And everyone meets under different circumstances.

The characters are pretty much the same -- personality-wise -- they just have different roles and work different jobs.

Hey there, so I've been reading the whole story here, I started yesterday and this is amazing! I've just wanted to stay in the AU world that you've created for Jim and Pam and then give you a really long review at the end. I hope you don't mind.

The reason, though that I'm leaving you this review now, is that dress you described Karen's dress in Phyllis's wedding? Just curious here... Also, I love the character of Dwight, and it's so nice that you've toned him down quite a bit, he still does have those strange Dwight tendencies but he's not the same as on the show, I hope you understand what I mean! And I love Jim, and I understand that he's not using Pam as a prostitute or something like that, but why does he keep giving Pam SO MUCH MONEY??? It's a lot! Is it his way of showing Pam how much he likes her? Lastly, I hope we hear about this ex-wife lady of Jim's, I'm getting curious! Great story, and I'm going to keep reading, then read the sequel!

That was really good, I love how you decided to give them a little turn of events. It seemed so realistic, even though he was so drunk, which was out of custom. Great chapter, and I can't wait to see how you continue!

Wow. I feel like Jim just kissed me.

Okay, not really, but I just wanted to talk a little bit about this chapter. First of all, I love how awful you made Karen, how she acknowledges Pam's art, says it's great and then Jim's able to brag about that being his girlfriend. That made me so happy! Second of all, I like how Jim didn't just slip away and melt off the face of the earth like a turtle when he got nervous and was able to be assertive and stand up to big, mean, stupid Karen. (I am not fond of her in any form...) That said, FANTASTIC chapter, and this may as well be my favorite. I think I'll add this to my favorites now... :) Great story, I love it!

Seriously, why do all of my favorites happen to be AU, set in NYC and feature Jim with some lady baggage in his past, Pam in art school after Roy and then the two of them slowly getting together? There was another one like this that I loved, too. I think this might be better, though. Definitely!

Wow, that was incredible. I really liked this chapter, and I can see how their love for each other is so clearly there. However, the one thing I think you could work on in your writing is the emotion. I think Pam probably would have been more depressed or in more pain, Jim might have been a little more distraught. All in all, I think this could have been a little more intense. And in other chapters I would advise you to bring on the emotion - whether it be good or bad. I DO think that you did a perfect job on the art show night, that was good with the anger.

Okay, so I liked this chapter a lot, and those are a few things to keep in mind, even though this story was written a while ago. Great chapter!

OH MY GOD, I WANT A JIM THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
Here is my review in form of a screenplay starring me. And in proper format, since screenwriting is my elective now.

Claire is sitting at a macbook pro laptop and typing away at her keyboard. She has a delighted expression on her face, giggling to herself, smiling uncontrollably. As she reads the final few lines of whatever it is she's reading with the orange and yellow background with a picture of two people holding hands and wearing blue tshirts with writing on the backs she squeals.

CLAIRE
Oh my god! I want a Jim! That is so sweet of him. I love this story!

She speaks to no one in particular, yet footsteps and the sounds of someone cooking in a kitchen are heard in the distance. She continues typing and grinning and presses a button.

Oh my god, I am going to Paris as soon as I am done with school I've decided. I never really had such a desire to go, but now I do! Wow, I want a Jim so bad and to go to Paris with him. This was such a fabulous chapter, and really, would you mind giving me an estimate of a) how much he spent on this trip, b) how much he makes annually, and c) a picture of the engagement ring he has for Pam? Thanks!

AWW, this was the most perfect story ever. I love it so much, and especially the little snippet at how Pam was thinking of her current life and the past, how she would have thought it was all a dream now.

I'm going to start reading your epilogue soon, I can't wait. All I need to do is a little housework...
And seriously, one day I will actually find out how to give an 11 review rating.

Summary: Post-Basketball. Pam nurses Jim back to health after Roy elbows him in the mouth. We just pretend the whole skeevy little "Let's get you into a tub" doesn't apply to Roy. Gosh, I love alternate universes. :o)

Goodness, that was adorable! What ever happened to continuing this??? It would be so cute to have a series of non-related one-shots about Pam taking care of Jim. We read so much of Jim taking care of Pam that I want to see the opposite. Keep going!

“I need someplace to stay.” She said this so softly he had to strain to hear her in the stillness of the evening, leaning toward her slightly.  Something inside of him suddenly wanted to protect her.

loved it. screw you roy, you never deserved pam, even for a day or a hello.

very well written, and i'm glad this wasn't a huge fight, that roy realized what was happening apologized, a d left. though he can never apologize for all he did to pam, though. anyway, great work, and i'll keep reading!

i literally yelled "GO PAM!" at the top of my lungs when she said 'i don't care'. amazing at the end with the porch scene, i was starting to get a little, you know.... myself. (eek! i'd really like a jim for myself, if that's too much to ask)

great job and i can't wait to keep reading. i hate how in roy/pam breakup stories pam goes to jim's house, they start making out, then want to take it further, then jim stops and says pam has some thinking to do. arg. i hate that!

i'll just shut up and keep reading, my inner mark is starting to surface - i speak my mind how, and i have to tell myself to shut up. maybe it's true! :)

wow. that was a little confusing in the kitchen, i'm not sure what the motive was there, besides them deeply being in love with each other, but why i don't understand why they started doing...um whatever it is that they were doing just then.

but anyway, i loved the poem:

'If I had you I would kiss you until I got tired of it.

But I’d never tire.

No…

Never. I would never tire.

And you would stop me…

And then I would kiss you again.'

and also the line, "Pam was in the bathroom doing Pam type activities" i thought that was hilarious, still do. :)

nice chapter, i like how you're not making us wait forever and ever for something to happen, and especially how you show all the emotion and context of the story through words and descriptions instead of dialog. however, when you do decide to use dialog, it's very realistic, so great job with that. lastly i am so happy with how well edited this is, it's a dream come true to have not read a single grammatical error or typo throughout all the chapters!!! job well done, Stablergirl!

ps, this was the best chapter yet in my opinion, and sorry i am blabbering so much here!

okay, i think i understand this now. but i really must go to bed. hasta manana, or until tomorrow.

p.s. this chapter was a lot clearer, if i didn't say that before. great job! i love pam's idea of seeing snow in a different way. i wouldn't have thought to include that, but it really adds a lot to this. great work!

nice job with this one. i'm a bit confused, because i think this isn't supposed to be so vague (sorry if i just offended you!), but it's probably that i'm just so tired. i'll just read one more to see if it makes sense. if not would you explain to me? thanks!

very nice. i like how it's kind of vague, yet so obvious at the same time. interestingly done.

sorry i'm so unclear with my review here, i'm just tired, that's all. i'll finish reading and reviewing the story over the weekend. one more chapter, then time for bed.

wow, that was incredible, i loved the part with the kiss, very, VERY well done.

Summary:

Jim has his doubts but when it comes to Pam, he made the right choice.

Mild spoilers through the end of season 3. Nothing too big. I gave it a T rating just in case future chapters get kinda sexy.

that was so cute - i loved this chapter so much. one question, though, when is this supposed to be set, and why is karen there? i know you said in the summary it was late season 3, but it's confusing why karen's still there. great job, though!

Summary:

I decided to write a sequel to Charcoal & Watercolors !!!!

The story picks up right about where Charcoal & Watercolors left off -- Jim and Pam's wedding. Then goes from there into their future. Jim still works at the advertising company and Pam works (exclusively) at a publishing company where she is an illustrator of children's stories.

I added a few more characters ;) and am planning on keeping almost all of the characters from the previous story.

Enjoy!!

Aww, I can't believe that he wasn't there. I almost started crying when I realized he wouldn't make it. Although I'm on Jim's team here, I feel that he's let Pam down a bit, going on all these business trips when she clearly doesn't want him to. Oh well, we've got beautiful Amelia Clarissa to think about instead! I LOVE that Pam's mom is Claire, that's my name, too!

Great job, beautiful descriptions!

I loved that last line "Come on, let's go lie to Michael and go home." Priceless! Also, that bit by the bathrooms was fantastic and with Karen pregnant AGAIN, then Jim and Pam thinking she was hiding it from Kevin. Lovely. Oh. My. God. Is that Kevin... KEVIN MALONE? I always imagined him as someone else, but now that I think about it... oh my goodness!

Lastly, I just want to say, I love all of Jim's longing for Pam, very sexy - and Michael's first outburst of Pam's ass was hilarious. Oh my, this was a great chapter!
