10 Okay, touching smiles instead of kissing? Adorable and hot at the same time, just like Jim and Pam. I loved these, all five things.

Nice! I love how this conveys all the things that Jim gives to Pam that aren't a physical object. Things like self-esteem and courage and hope. That's why this is my favourite line:
Instead, she shifted the angle of an armchair so it faced her Monet, snuggled up comfortably against a cushion, and eventually fell asleep with images of water lilies floating behind her eyelids.

Post-"Gay Witch Hunt"; Pam's growing up and realizing that if you want something, sometimes you have to fight for it.I'm still catching up on all the wonderful MTT fics and I found this. Wow! I read all the chapters in one sitting, I couldn't stop myself. Well done! More please!

9 This is really lovely. You've done a great job of capturing each character and their backstories. The advice they give is so true in each case that I can picture their faces exactly while they speak, which is not always the case in fanfic. Great job!

This was awesome. Pam and Angela teaming up for the greater good (I loved Angela's justification that God helps those who help themselves), Angela engagement story, Angela just getting to the point (she spares no one's feelings). And my favourite line is, hands down: Now remember, when we get back to the office, we're not friends. I'll still have to treat you as a shameless hussy. Let's go." Hee!
Author's Response: Thanks so much Paper Jam! I feel like I keep repeating myself but Angela so inspired me last week! I began to wonder why someone as religious/traditional as Angela got to be her age without being married. And I am obsessing about how she'll deal with Andy. In fact, I've been rubbing my hands together with glee since last Thursday at 8:59pm EST! BTW - that last line is my fave too. Always fun to use the word "hussy" in a sentence!
It is my personal canon that Kelly knows way more about life than people realize. She just knows how to simplify things! This was lovely and I have a big smile!

This picks up pre-merger and is spoiler free, a bit AU as well. I began this back in October (maybe even September), and obviously the show has deviated quite a bit from what I speculated here.
This begins with angst, but there is a great deal of fluff, steam, smut, and silly...for several, several chapters. My idea was to go beyond the happy ending, so to speak.

An unexpected conversation with Karen gives Jim some perspective. Based on unspoiled speculation for season 3.10 Whoa! Karen hurt my... uh, I mean Pam's feelings. When she started going off about Pam's looks, I actually cringed. Nice work!

It starts with the first time Jim and Pam are in the same room again, followed by their first real fight and then..you know...a few other firsts. :)

I liked how Pam explains her actions. Especially: "Which version of you am I supposed to believe Jim? The "I'm in love with you" version or the "It's no big deal" version? Am I supposed to believe the guy who complains to HR that I spend too much company time planning my wedding or the one who insists on watching band videos with me?"
Too often, I think Pam really takes a beating in fics, which is understandable, because Jim is the POV character, we understand him best, but it's a two way street with them and I'm glad you didn't gloss over that.
I've been thinking about The Secret alot lately. I understand what Jim was trying to do there - but all this discussion lately about all the Pam's "done wrong" has got me desperate to explain her motivation. It's not exactly my place - nor does it mean that my opinion is correct but the poor girl was asked to change her life in an instant. Do I like the way she handled it? Hell no. How hard is it to say - "I'm going to need a second to process this..." rather than "I can't."?
Reason #2468 that I'm not writing the show. LOL!

9 This was so pretty (okay, and a little sad). I actually held my breath for a second in a few places, so good job on the tension.
My favourite line: All the time alone with her tonight has made him too bold and slightly unhinged and he knows he will wake up tomorrow and cringe when he thinks about it. Because this is so true of Jim he tends to get caught up in being close to her sometimes and forgets his official place in her world.
